It was found therapeutic-preventive effectiveness of antioxidants (1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives) at poisoning with malathion insecticide. The effect of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives can be attributed to a prevention of lipid peroxidation. Antioxidants do not affect the toxicity of 0,0-dimethyl-0-2,2-dichlorvinylphosphate. Background
Receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase rho (RPTPρ, gene symbol PTPRT) is a member of the type IIB RPTP family. These transmembrane molecules have been linked to signal transduction, cell adhesion and neurite extension. The extracellular segment contains MAM, Ig-like and fibronectin type III domains, and the intracellular segment contains two phosphatase domains. A highly specific rabbit antiserum against DNA polymerase alpha from regenerating rat liver (antigen AG 1) and an antiserum against the preparation of the enzyme proteolytic fragments possessing catalytic activity (antigen AG 2) were obtained. The enzyme neutralization test revealed that antibodies against AG 2 inhibit the DNA polymerase activity in a much stronger degree, than those against AG 1. Data from a kinetic analysis of the enzyme complexed with the antibodies against AG 1 suggest that the catalytic and binding sites for dNTP and free Mg2+ are altered.
