On the basis of the concept of the typological variability of human physiological individuality, we have determined the systemic correlation between the indicators of cognitive activity and the parameters and development of emotional intelligence (EI) and the formation of typical behavior strategies in older preschool children of three functional types (FT-1, FT-2, and FT-3), including subjects with low (LHPA), medium (MHPA), and high (HHPA) levels of habitual physical activity. We revealed the EI features typical of each functional group of children and observed a strong negative correlation between the indicator of HPA and the total EI score. The typical manifestation of EI is closely related to other psychological parameters of cognitive and emotional–volitional activity (logical and imaginative thinking, state anxiety, and attention), which allowed us to establish the constitutional features of the behavior strategy on the basis of the integrated assessment of all the obtained data. In different conflict situations, children with HHPA (FT-3) made decisions more rapidly and by themselves; their decisions were active and aimed at achieving a specific goal on the basis of domination (individual problem solving). In contrast, children with LHPA (FT-1) solved the problems on the basis of the emotional state of other people and preferred to explain the situation to their parents or educators and ask for help (cooperative problem solving). Strains of entomopathogenic fungi may have substantial differences in their final stages of mycosis. Insect cadavers are usually overgrown with mycelium after colonization of the insect body, but in many cases, bacterial decomposition of the colonized hosts occurs. We used two Metarhizium robertsii strains in the work: Mak-1 (cadavers become overgrown with mycelium and conidia) and P-72 (cadavers decay after fungal colonization). We conducted a comparative analysis of gut and cadaver microbiota in Colorado potato beetle larvae using 16S rRNA gene sequencing after infection with these strains. In addition, we estimated the content of different forms of nitrogen in cadavers and the influence of cadavers on the growth of Solanum lycopersicum on sand substrates under laboratory conditions. It was shown that infections did not lead to a significant shift in the midgut bacterial communities of infected insects compared to those of untreated insects. Importantly, bacterial communities were similar in both types of cadaver, with predominantly enterobacteria. Decomposing cadavers (P-72) were characterized by increased nitrate and ammonium, and they had a stronger growth-promoting effect on plants compared to cadavers overgrown with mycelium and conidia (Mak-1). We also estimated the colonization and growth of plants after treatment with conidia of both strains cultivated on artificial medium. Both cultures successfully colonized plants, but strain P-72 showed stronger growth promotion than Mak-1. Background
Streptococcus agalactiae (Group B Streptococcus; GBS) is a major contributor to obstetric and neonatal bacterial sepsis. Serotype III strains cause the majority of late-onset sepsis and meningitis in babies, and thus appear to have an enhanced invasive capacity compared with the other serotypes that cause disease predominantly in immunocompromised pregnant women. We compared the serotype III and V whole genome sequences, strains NEM316 and 2603VR respectively, in an attempt to identify genetic attributes of strain NEM316 that might explain the propensity of strain NEM316 to cause late-onset disease in babies. Fourteen putative pathogenicity islands were described in the strain NEM316 whole genome sequence. Using PCR- and targeted microarray- strategies, the presence of these islands were assessed in a diverse strain collection including 18 colonizing isolates from healthy pregnant women, and 13 and 8 invasive isolates from infants with early- and late-onset sepsis, respectively. 相似文献55.

The concentrations of nine metals were measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry in surface sediments of three coastal creeks, namely, the Ifie, Egbokodo and Ubeji creeks, in the Niger Delta of Nigeria, from August 2012 to January 2013. The aim of the study was to provide information on the spatial and seasonal distribution patterns, degree of contamination, and ecological risks of metals in these sediments. The mean concentrations of the nine metals in these creek sediments ranged from 0.30 to 3.20?mg kg?1 Cd; 10.7 to 24.7?mg kg?1 Pb, 125 to 466?mg kg?1 Cr; 3.1.10 to 14.9?mg kg?1 Cu; 4.7 to 14.3?mg kg?1 Co; 61.1 to 115?mg kg?1 Ni; 106 to 183?mg kg?1 Mn; 52.0 to 170?mg kg?1 Zn and 5 469 to 20 639?mg kg?1 Fe. In general, the metal concentrations were higher in the dry season than the wet season, except for Cr. The concentrations of Cd, Cr, Ni and Zn were above their regulatory control limits in sediment as specified by the Nigerian Regulatory Authority and Cd was identified as the main ecological risk factor. The enrichment factors for the studied metals followed the order: Cd > Cr > Ni > Zn > Pb > Co > Mn > Cu. Individual typological characteristics of habitual physical activity (HPA) in subjects of the preschool, primary school, and young adult ages were determined, and three functional types (FTs) comprising subjects with low, medium, and high HPAs (LHPA, MHPA, and HHPA, respectively) were distinguished (FT-1, FT-2, and FT-3, respectively). Subsequent comparison between the three groups of subjects showed that they differed in the ratio between the numbers of subjects with different morphological types (somatotypes). We studied the fungicidal activity of a biological preparation from the fungi of the genus Chaetomium against soil phytopathogenic fungi Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium oxysporum. The inhibitory effect of the preparation under study depended on its concentration, duration of storage, and growth characteristics of pure cultures of the phytopathogens. The highest (98.8%) inhibitory activity was observed on day 3 of the interaction with Rhizoctonia solani. After a 2-year storage, this preparation was capable of inhibiting the growth of the phytopathogens only at high doses. The preparation precluded the development of bare patch and increased the productivity of potato plants. The preparation may serve as an alternative to chemical fungicides for plant protection. 相似文献
