This paper examines the influence of the location of settlements, railroads, and highways on the spatial structure of the Otis tarda population in the Trans-Volga region that was studied in the years 1998–2016 in a model area of 12000 km2 that is located in the southern part of the Saratov Trans-Volga region. The zone of the impact made by our estimated disturbance factor due to the movement of people and a variety of ground vehicles along various-purpose roads on the territorial distribution of bustards in autumn can be denoted as a 300–500 m width band on both sides of the transport communications. Shelterbelts that were created along transport communications render a beneficial effect on the distribution of O. tarda and reduce the influence of the disturbance factor. Furthermore, crop rotation fields with side sizes of more than 1 km can be considered a factor that compensates for the anxiety of birds. We have found that in the Saratov Trans-Volga region, because of the large size of crop rotation fields and significant development of roadside and shelter belts, no special measures are required to protect O. tarda such as restrictions on the movement of people and vehicles over the territory where this species lives. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to estimate effects of some chemotherapy drugs on the elasticity and deformability of the membrane of a red blood cell (RBC). It was found that incubation of red blood cells (RBCs) with cisplatin or epoetin alpha led to considerable (by 10–17%; p < 0.05) increase in the RBC deformability and that cisplatin could activate tyrosine protein kinases (TPKs). Preincubation of RBCs with a specific inhibitor of EGF-R and Src kinase, lavendustin A, almost completely prevented the cisplatin effect. Tyrosine phosphatase inhibitor, sodium orthovanadate, increased the RBC deformability (p < 0.05). This effect was also abandoned by lavendustin A. To test a hypothesis on the involvement of protein kinases of mature RBCs in control of their membrane elasticity, the cells were incubated with phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) activating protein kinase Cα (PKCα). PMA increased the RBC deformability only moderately (by 8%, p < 0.05) and the effect was canceled by nonselective and selective PKC inhibitors staurosporin and 4-(1-methylindol-3-yl)maleimide hydrochloride. Erythropoietin is known to inhibit the nonselective cation channels of the RBC membrane; however, preincubation of the cells with verapamil did not cancel the increase in their deformability. Hence, this increase in deformability could be a result of the action of tyrosine protein kinases, the more so that this effect was almost completely canceled by lavendustion A. The results suggest that the presence of functionally active protein kinases and phosphatases in the membranes of mature RBC makes them a target for the addressed effects of signal molecules, including some chemotherapy drugs, causing consecutive alterations in the RBC membrane elasticity, microrheological properties, and transport potential. 相似文献

The binding between thiamine pyrophosphate and transketolase, purified from baker's yeast, in equilibrium conditions has been studied. In the presence of Ca2+, the enzyme molecule has been shown to possess two binding sites for the coenzyme, whose dissociation constants are 3.2 × 10?8 and 2.5 × 10?7M; besides, there are site(s) where the binding of the coenzyme is less firm. In the presence of Mg2+, a positive cooperative interaction between the binding sites of thiamine pyrophosphate has been observed. Regardless of the cation used, the major part of the catalytic activity of the transketolase molecule manifests itself in the binding of one molecule of the coenzyme. 相似文献

In experiments with females of lines with an impaired DNA repair systems mei-9 (impaired excision repair) and mei-41 (impaired postreplicative repair), a method of successive irradiation by X-rays (1000 R) and hyperthermia (+37 degrees C) action was used for the purpose of defining a moment when DNA repair takes place in oogenesis. Repair in mature mei-41 oocytes judged of by synergism effect of the both factors acting was ascertained to take place right after X-raying (prior to DNA replication) and being absent at the fertilization period (at the time of or after DNA replication). DNA repair in mei-9 females was not registered in both cases. On the basis of these facts, it is suggested that coordination of various DNA repair systems is necessary for damaged chromosomes to be repaired. Hershey circles and linear tandem aggregated forms of DNA have been obtained in vitro and treated with polynucleotide ligase to form phosphodiester bond. Using zone centrifugation in glycerol gradient covalently closed circles and linear dimers have been purified and their biological activity investigated. It was found that closed circular molecules lost most, if not all, of their activity in CaCl2-dependent system. In order to investigate the biological activity of tandem dimer molecules, hybrid dimers consisting of DNA's from lambda C1857 and lambda 1434 have been obtained. In plaque assay with the appropriate non-permissive strains of E. coli the efficiency of infectivity of hybrid dimers was measured. Biological activity of dimer molecules sealed with ligase was about 5% of the activity of linear monomers. Ig has been suggested that tandem dimers of lambda DNA joined by phosphodiester bond are able to penetrate into the CaCl2-treated host cells and both components of dimers are active during subsequent multiplication. 相似文献
