猕猴桃种质资源保存及育种研究

收集保存猕猴桃属植物３５种或变种、变型,并将它们分为抗寒?喜凉、喜温３种类型。从保存的中华猕猴桃优株中系统选育出“武植２号”、“武植３号”２个优良品种。以中华猕猴桃为母本,毛花猕猴桃为父本进行种间杂交,从杂种Ｆ１代中培养出“江山娇”、“满天星”、“重瓣”３个具有园艺观赏价值的优良株系。这些研究工作为猕猴桃种质资源的保存及新品种的培育奠定了工作基础。

高压静电场对绵羊精子存活率的影响

采用不同剂量的高压静电场处理绵羊精液,经分析发现,高压静电场对绵羊精具有激活作用。能提高绵羊精液品质,表现在适当剂量的高压静电场能显著地提高绵羊精子存活率,其中以６００ｋＶ／ｍ剂量处理效果最佳。１００ｋＶ／ｍ和３００ｋＶ／ｍ剂量对精子刺激不足,而９００ｋＶ／ｍ剂量则对精子刺激过程,导致部分精子损伤和死亡,同样达不到预期的效果。     

大鼠胸部照射后支气管肺泡灌洗液成分和肺组织纤溶活力的变化

大鼠胸部照射γ射线２０Ｇｙ,照射后观察支气管肺泡灌洗液（ＢＡＬＦ）中蛋白质含量、细胞总数和分类及巨噬细胞存活率,肺指数及肺组织纤溶活力,并做了大体解剖和组织学检查。结果为：照射后２周开始ＢＡＬＦ中蛋白质含量、细胞总数和中性粒细胞即明显增多,照射后１——２个月持续处于高水平,高峰在１．５─２个月,照射后３─４个月有所下降,肺指数有相应变化;肺组织纤溶活力则相反,从照射后２周开始持续下降,至照射后２个月已降至最低,接近于零。形态学观察也见到有早期肺水肿和晚期肺萎缩等变化。由上结果可见,大鼠胸部照射后的早期主要为渗出性病变和纤溶活力的降低。文中讨论了照射后血管内皮细胞的损伤在放射性肺损伤发病中的作用。     

磷脂模型膜的时间分辨纳秒荧光光谱的研究

叙述了用时间分辨率纳秒荧光技术研究大豆磷脂或合成磷脂模型膜（脂质体）的物理状态变化与荧光寿命以及时间分辨各向异性测量参数变化相关性的实验结果。用荧光探剂ＭＣ５４０标记模型膜的结果表明,荧光寿命（τ）的变化与脂质／探剂比例、磷脂组成、磷脂的极性头部、脂肪酸酰链长度等有关。用ＤＰＨ（１,６－ｄｉｐｈｅｎｙｌ－１,３,５－ｈｅｘａｔｒｉｅｎｅ）标记磷脂模型膜的时间分辨各向异性分析结果表明,序参数（Ｓ）、     

Studies on regulation of chorionic gonadotropin secretion in primates

The regulation of secretion of chorionic gonadotropin in primates has been studied using bothin vivo andin vitro models.In vivo studies using the pregnant bonnet monkey revealed that at the doses tested, the administration of progesterone or estradiol 17Β in combination or alone did not result in any appreciable change in the duration or magnitude of serum chorionic gonadotropin levels. However, administration of lutropin-releasing hormone by intravenous route resulted in significant increase in chorionic gonadotropin levels within 30–60 min and the extent of stimulation seemed to depend on the state of pregnancy. Forin vitro studies, explants or cells prepared from first trimester human placenta has been used. The functional integrity of these cells has been established by demonstrating the binding of [¹²⁵I]-labelled human chorionic gonadotropin antibody to the cells as well as the synthesis of [³H]-labelled human chorionic gonadotropin.In vitro studies using the cells revealed that addition of lutropin-releasing hormone caused a significant increase in chorionic gonadotropin and estradiol 17Β secreted into the medium. Thus bothin vivo andin vitro results suggest that lutropin-releasing hormone could be one of the factors involved in regulation of chorionic gonadotropin secretion in primates.     

Detection of immunoglobulin heavy chain IgG3 polymorphism in wild mice with xenogeneic monoclonal antibodies

We have generated four xenogeneic rat antimouse IgG₃ monoclonal antibodies recognizing at least three different antigenic determinants (epitopes) on BALB/c IgG₃ molecules. These antibodies were used in solid-phase blocking radioimmunoassays for detection of the epitopes in sera of 40 inbred strains and 134 wild mice. These antibodies detect genetic polymorphism of IgG₃ isotype among wild mice even though there is no polymorphism found among 40 inbred strains tested (except X-chromosome-linked immunodeficient CBA/N strain which lacks IgG₃ molecules). Hormone-regulated expression of cellular rasH oncogene in mammary carcinomas in rats

Differential gene expression has been observed in hormone-dependent rat mammary carcinomas during their growth and regression. A 22K MW protein, a prominent in vitro translation product of the growing as compared to the regressing tumor, was identified as the c-rasH-21,000-dalton transforming protein (p21) using a monoclonal antibody that reacts specifically with Harvey-related p21 species. The amount of p21-translated protein sharply decreased in the translation products of the regressing tumors within 6 hours post ovariectomy or dibutyryl cyclic AMP treatment. The results show that an enhanced expression of the c-rasH oncogene is associated with hormone-dependent growth of mammary carcinomas in vivo and that suppression of this oncogene precedes the tumor regression induced by either hormone withdrawal or dibutyryl cyclic AMP treatment.
