Insect-resistant transgenic cabbage plants and their progenies

An insecticidal crystal protein gene of Bacillus thuringiensis was transferred into cabbage genome with the method of Agrobacterium infection. Cotyledons with petioles as explants were cocultivated with Agrobacterial suspension. Calli generated at the basis of petiole were subjected to selection on the MS medium containing 15-30 mg/L kanamycin (Km). About 5% explants produced calli growing continuously on the selective medium. Green shoots appeared on these calli when they were transplanted onto medium with Km and 6-BA for plant differentiation. The shoots were separated and cultivated on medium with kanamycin. About 80% shoots were rooted. Non-transformed control calli could not give normal shoots and roots and brownized and died gradually. Larvae of Pieris rapae showed poisonous symptoms: growth inhibition and mortality when fed with the leaf of the transgenic plants. About 80% of regenerated plants showed positive hybridization bands when their DNA were probed with crystal protein sequence of Bacillu     

优化肥料结构促进稻田土壤生态良性循环

１９８５￣１９９２年在福州、莆田两地,２次进行８年１６个稻作年次定位试验。结果表明,尿素分别与红萍、绿肥、厩肥、稻草配合施用,对稻田土壤物理性状、碳氮平衡、微生物区系、酶活性、供肥能力等生态良性循环有积极的影响;稻谷平均每公顷年产量比等氮量尿素为对照的,增产分别为１０．７％、１１．４％、９．６％、６．５％。取得显著的经济效益和土壤生态效益。     

我国水稻迁飞性害虫猖獗成因及其治理对策建议

本文运用生态学的基本原理,在阐述我国稻飞虱（褐飞虱Ｎｉｌａｐａｒｖａｔａｌｕｇｅｎｓ（ｓｔａｌ）,白背飞虱Ｓｏｇａｔｅｌｌａｆｕｒｃｉｆｅｒａ（Ｈｏｒｖａｔｈ））和稻纵卷叶螟（ＣｎａｐｈａｌｏｃｒｏｃｉｓｍｅｄｉｎａｌｉｓＧｕｅｎｅｅ）近１０—２０年来的发生和危害状况后,分析认为,我国水稻迁飞性害虫的猖獗力害,与初始主源、生产水平和作物坏境及气候异常有很密切的关系。本文还对未来若干年内的发生趋势作了浅析,同时从宏观治理的高度提出一些建没性的控制对策。     

山西星粉蚧属二新种记述（同翅目：蚧总科：粉蚧科）

中国苏铁属花粉形态研究

对中国苏铁属花粉进行了光镜和扫描电镜观察。花粉中等大,极轴长２６．５－３５．７μｍ,赤道轴长２０．６－２６．４μｍ;极面观椭圆形至近圆形,赤道面观船形或肾形,具远极单沟,达两端,其开闭和形状随花粉干燥或潮湿而变化,内部具多种不规则突起,两端具皱纹;远极面外壁光滑或稀具微突起,近极面具穿孔,孔穴或蜂窝状纹饰。     

副原吸鳅属鱼类一新种(鲤形目:平鳍鳅科)

本文记述采自广西巴马的平鳍鳅科鱼类一新种,即巴马副原吸鳅Paraprotomyzonbamaensissp．nov。对新种的形态特征进行了描述,并与近似种进行了比较。

Non-crystallographic symmetry of crystal of neutral phospholipase A2 from Agkistrodon halys Pallas

Agkistrodotoxin, a neutral phospholipase A₂ with high presynaptic neurotoxicity from the venom of Agkistrodon halys Pallas, has been crystallized by hanging drop vapor diffusion method. The crystal belongs to P2₁ space group with the cell dimensions a = 10.836 nm, b=8.486nm, c = 7.082nm, β=109.87$ showing C2 pseu-do-symmetry. Diffraction data to 0. 26 nm resolution have been collected on a Siemens X-200B area detector. C2 pseu-do-symmetry suggests that there exists a non-crystallographic two-fold axis parallel to crystallographic b axis. Self-rotation function calculation with different integrated radius and resolution ranges using the program POLARRFN yields four stable high peaks corresponding to three more non-crystallographic two-fold axis and one special non-crystal-lographic symmetry. The molecules in the asymmetric unit are suggested to be arranged in a manner of "dimer of dimers" by inference.     

Double-gating mechanism and diversity of an adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-sensitive K~ channel in neurons acutely dissociated from rat neocortex

Classically, ion channels are classified into 2 groups: chemical-sensitive (ligand-gated) and voltage-sensitive channels. Single ATP-sensitive K (K-ATP) channel currents were recorded in acutely dissociated rat neo-cortical neurons using patch clamp technique. A type of K-ATP channel has been found to be gated not only by intra-cellular ATP, but also by membrane potential ( Vm) , and proved to be a novel mechanism underlying the gating of ion channels, namely bi-gating mechanism. The results also show that the K-ATP channels possess heterogeneity and di-versity. These types of K-ATP channels have been identified in 40.12% of all patches, which are different in activa-tion-threshold and voltage-sensitivity. The present experiment studied the type-3 K-ATP channel with a unitary con-ductance of about 80 pS in detail ( n = 15).
