Information on the scope of destructions caused by the high flood, on the sanitary and hygienic situation on the affected territories of the Karachai-Chercassian Republic is given. Materials on the organization and realization of prophylactic measures on the territory of the Karachai-Chercassian Republic at the period the natural calamity, under the conditions of a high risk of the appearance of an outbreak of enteric infections and viral hepatitis A are presented. In these materials the main trends of the work are pointed out; due to the timely taken and effectively carried out measures on the anti-epidemic protection of the population, the sanitary and epidemiological service was shown to prevent the aggravation of the epidemiological situation in the republic.  相似文献

The laccases of the basidiomycetes Cerrena unicolor 059, C. unicolor 0784, and Pleurotus oastreatus 0432 were assayed comparatively. The laccases were isolated as homogenous preparations with molecular weight 55, 56, and 57 kD, respectively. The three enzymes were found to be glycoproteins. The carbohydrate moiety of the glycoproteins included mannose, galactose, and N-acetylglucosamine. The carbohydrate moiety of the laccases from C. unicolor 059, C. unicolor 0784, and P. oastreatus 0432 accounted for 17, 23, and 24%, respectively. The pH optimum of the enzymes was at 4.0, 3.75, and 5.6, respectively. Thermal stability testing of laccases at 40 degrees C revealed that the C. unicolor 0784 enzyme was characterized by the highest thermal stability (after 172-h incubation the enzyme activity was maintained at a level of 25%). The Michaelis constant (Km) values of the reactions of oxidation of pyrocatechol, hydroquinone, and potassium ferrocyanide catalyzed by the basidiomycete laccases were determined.  相似文献

Three samples of high-molecular-weight humin-like substances were obtained by solid-phase cultivation of Coriolus hirsutus and/or Cerrena maxima on oat straw. The yield of humin-like substances amounted to 1.38-2.26% of the weight of the plant substrate consumed. These substances, produced both by individual and mixed cultures of the basidiomycetes, were shown to be similar in their structure and physicochemical properties. According to the data of IR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy, the substances contained aromatic fragments and were close to soil humic acids. Studies of the dynamics of laccase production suggested that the humin-like substances were produced bia direct degradation of lignin macromolecules with direct involvement of extracellular laccase.  相似文献

Ectoparasites have been investigated on gills of the ruff, perch, white bream, roach, bream, ide, and European cisco from the Pleshcheevo lake. 13 parasite species were found: Dactylogyrus falcatus, D. distinguendus, D. cornoides, D. cornu, D. sphyrna, D. robustus, D. amphibothrium, Ancyrocephalus paradoxus, Argulus foliaceus, Ergasilus sieboldi, Achtheres percarum, Ancyrocephalus percae, and Rhipidocotyle companula. A reliable negative correlation between the number of monogeneans An. paradoxus and the copepods Ac. percarum on the perch. D. falcatus, the specific monogenean of the bream, was found on the roach. The comparison of the obtained data with those of 1939 has shown the decrease of oxyphilic copepods E. seiboldi, that prove the increasing eutrophication.  相似文献

The obtained data indicate that frequencies of different types of cytogenetic anomalies in investigated children groups living in radionuclide contaminated territories and children irradiated in utero have complicated patterns. The frequency of chromosomal anomalies in the investigated groups of children exceeds the average population level. At the same time, no statistically significant differences in frequencies of various types aberrations between groups of children were revealed.  相似文献

We have explored intracellular pathways involved in the urokinase type plasminogen activator (urokinase or uPA)-stimulated migration of human airway smooth muscle cells (hAWSMC). Using a set of uPA mutants we found that protease activity, growth factor-like and kringle domains of uPA differentially contribute to activation of p42/p44erk1,2 and p38 MAP-kinases. Consistent with our earlier data [Mukhina et al., J. Biol. Chem. 275 (2000), 16450-16458], the kringle domain of uPA was sufficient and required to stimulate cell motility. Here we report that uPA mutants containing the kringle domain specifically activate the p38 MAP-kinase pathway and actomyosin by increasing phosphorylation of the critical Ser-19 on the myosin regulatory light chain and MAP-kinase sites of the actin-associated regulatory protein caldesmon. While pharmacological inhibition of p38 MAP-kinase activation did not affect myosin light chain phosphorylation, it blocked the increase in caldesmon phosphorylation and uPA-stimulated migration of hAWSMC on a collagen-coated surface. We conclude that activation of p38 MAP-kinase and downstream phosphorylation of non-muscle caldesmon is essential for urokinase-stimulated smooth muscle cell migration.  相似文献

Urokinase (uPA)- and urokinase receptor (uPAR)-dependent cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix protein vitronectin (Vn) is an important event in wound healing, tissue remodeling, immune response, and cancer. We recently demonstrated that in human vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) uPA/uPAR are functionally associated with the ectoprotein kinase casein kinase-2 (CK2). We now asked whether CK2 regulates uPA-dependent cell adhesion to Vn, since the latter is a natural CK2 substrate. We found that Vn is indeed selectively phosphorylated by CK2 and that this phosphorylation is uPA-regulated in VSMC. Vn induces release of ecto-CK2 from the cell surface via a process termed as "shedding." CK2-mediated Vn phosphorylation was decisive for the uPA-dependent VSMC adhesion. Specific inhibition of CK2 completely abolished the uPA-induced cell adhesion to Vn. This effect was specific for cell adhesion to Vn and required participation of both uPAR and alpha(v)beta(3) integrins as adhesion receptors. CK2 localization at the cell surface was highly dynamic; Vn induced formation of clusters where CK2 colocalized with uPAR and alpha(v)beta(3) integrins. These results indicate that the uPA-dependent VSMC adhesion is a function of selective Vn phosphorylation by the ectoprotein kinase CK2 and suggest a regulatory role for Vn phosphorylation in the uPA-directed adhesive process.  相似文献

The review summarizes data obtained by the authors and other laboratories concerning the role of urokinase plasminogen activator in vessel remodeling and angiogenesis. The data have shown that urokinase is involved in unfavorable vascular remodeling during the development of restenosis, atherosclerosis and also in the regulation of angiogenesis. Urokinase is a promising target for therapeutic interventions aimed at restenosis prevention. Urokinase gene therapy may be a perspective strategy for the treatment of tissue ischemia.  相似文献
