The foraminiferal genus Janischewskina of the family Janischewskinidae Reitlinger, 1996, which is widespread in Eurasia and plays an important role in stratigraphy of the Upper Viséan-Serpukhovian interval of the Lower Carboniferous (=Mississippian), is revised. The morphological characteristics of the genus and species were clarified and supplemented, details of the structure of the interseptal space and sutural apertures are clarified, and the stratigraphic and geographical distribution of the species is documented. A new foraminiferal species J. adtarusia Gibshman, Zaytseva and Stepanova, sp. nov. is described.  相似文献

The investigations of the functional state of the antioxidant system in epithelial cells from rat small intestine in dynamics after X-ray irradiation (0.1; 0.5 and 1.0 Gy) at a low absorbed dose rate (55 mGy/min) were performed. The obtained results point out the ambiguity of the antioxidant system reaction to the activation of oxidative processes at different doses of irradiation. The multidirectional changes of these antioxidant enzymatic activities whose functioning is characterized by the early post-irradiation recovery depending on the value of the absorbed dose were observed. The sensitivity of superoxide dismutase, glutathione transferase and glutathione peroxidase in mitochondria of epithelial cells to the irradiation exposure in the investigated range of absorbed doses was shown.  相似文献

From the surface of the dikaryotic mycelium of the xylotrophic basidiomycete Grifola frondosa 0917 a lectin has been isolated with a molecular mass of 68 ± 1 kDa, consisting of two subunits of 33–34 kDa each. The lectin is a hydrophilic glycoprotein with the protein: glycan ratio of 3: 1. It exhibits high affinity to native rabbit erythrocytes and to human erythrocytes of the 0 blood group, but not to trypsin-treated ones. The hemagglutination (HA) caused by lectin was not blocked by any of the 25 tested mono-, di-, and amino sugars; it was also not blocked by some of glyco derivatives. Only 13.9 μg/ml of the homogeneous preparation of a polysaccharide, a linear D-rhamnan with the structure of the repeated component →2)-β-D-Rhap-(1→3)-α-D-Rhap-(1→3)-α-D-Rhap-(1→2)-α-D-Rhap-(1→2)-α-sD-Rhap-1(→ blocked hemagglutination completely. The analysis of the amino acid composition of the lectin showed the greatest percentage of amino acids with positively charged R groups, arginine, lysine, and histidine, as well as the complete absence of sulfurcontaining amino acids, cysteine, and methionine. The action of purified laccase from the basidial fungi Cerrena unicolor and Trametes sp. on 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (2,4,6-TCP) and pentachlorophenol (PCP) was studied, including reactions involving I-hydroxybenzotriazole as a mediator. Oxidation of 2,4,6-TCP by laccase without the mediator yielded 2,6-dichlorobenzoquinone as a primary conversion product, whereas PCP was not oxidized. Insect oocyte nuclei contain different extrachromosomal nuclear bodies including Cajal bodies and interchromatin granule clusters (IGCs). In the present study, we describe IGC equivalents in the vitellogenic oocytes of the flesh fly, Sarcophaga sp. These structures were found to consist of 20-40-nm granules and also include the fibrillar areas of high and low electron density. Immunogold labeling electron microscopy revealed IGC marker protein SC35, Sm proteins, and trimethylguanosine cap of small nuclear (sn) RNAs in these bodies. Antibody against the non-phosphorylated RNA polymerase II selectively labeled the fibrillar areas of low electron density located inside the IGCs.  相似文献

Pentafluorophenyl esters of 5- and 6-carboxyfluorescein-3',6'-O-dipivalate can be easily separated in multigram quantities by column chromatography. The individual isomers were converted into stable phosphoramidites suitable for oligonucleotide synthesis. The use of the cyclohexylcarbonyl (Chc) protecting group instead of pivaloyl (Piv) facilitates the separation of isomers. The fluorescence spectra of 5- and 6-carboxyfluoresceins on oligonucleotides were compared.  相似文献

The organization and molecular composition of complicated Cajal bodies (CBs) and interchromatin granule clusters (IGCs) in oocytes of the house cricket, Acheta domesticus, were studied using immunofluorescent/confocal and Immunogold labeling/electron microscopy. In A. domesticus oocytes, the CB consists of the fibrillar matrix and a central cavity containing a predominantly granular body with insertions of tightly packed fibrillar material. The latter structure was identified as an "internal" IGC, since it is enriched with the SC35 protein, a marker for IGCs. The IGCs located outside the CB were also identified. Microinjections of the fluorescein-tagged U7 snRNA into the ooplasm showed the targeting of the U7 to the matrix of the CB. Some other essential CB components (coilin, snRNPs, fibrillarin) were found to be colocalized in the matrix of the CB. Neither confocal nor Immunogold microscopy revealed significant amounts of RNA polymerase II (pol II) in the CB of A. domesticus oocytes. The splicing factor SC35 was detected in the matrix of the CB. In oocytes treated with DRB, the amount of IGCs in the nucleoplasm increased significantly, granular and fibrillar components of IGCs were segregated, and the fibrillar areas accumulated pol II. Additionally, IG-like granules were shown to display on the surface of the CB probably due to a shifting from the internal IGC. We believe that in A. domesticus oocytes, CBs are involved in nuclear distribution of splicing factors, but their role in pol II transport is less significant. We also suggest that the formation of complicated CBs is a result of interconnection between two different nuclear domains, CBs and IGCs.  相似文献
