A new computerized method for EEG rhythms extraction is proposed as a development of the idea of adjustable boundaries of frequency components that was put forward in previous investigations. Principle component analysis of the correlation matrix of EEG spectra with subsequent rotation of factor solutions was used for decomposition of a spectrum into physically meaningful spectral components. The method was tested on EEG of 14 healthy subjects recorded in 17 functional waking states. Fourteen independent spectral components in the spectral range from 0 to 100 Hz were extracted and their frequency boundaries were consistent with the current knowledge on frequency components of EEG oscillations. Main advantage of the described method is the adjustable estimation of EEG frequency oscillators taking into account characteristic properties of individual EEGs. Possible area of application might be the correct evaluation of spectral power of the EEG rhythms, EEG coherence and other spectral characteristics in clinical and experimental research, studies of the frequency characteristics of the EEG rhythms in different human functional states, changes in frequency characteristics of the EEG rhythms during maturation and in mental pathology.  相似文献

This review provides an analysis of recent data on the mechanisms of degradation of lignocellulosic materials and xenobiotics by basidiomycetes. Special attention is given to the analysis of the current state of research of ligninolytic enzymes and their involvement in the degradation ofxenobiotics. Data on the practical use of basidiomycetes for bioconversion of industrial wastes are systematized. The most promising areas of bioconversion technologies are considered, such as contaminated water purification (including wastewater), cleanup of soils contaminated with heavy metals and xenobiotics, and degradation of difficult-to-degrade substrates (lignin and lignocellulose wastes, low-energy coal, and synthetic polymers).  相似文献

To determine enzymatic activities in the thermotolerant strain K1 (formerly "Sulfobacillus thermosulfidooxidans subsp. thermotolerans"), it was grown in a mineral medium with (1) thiosulfate and Fe2+ or pyrite (autotrophic conditions), (2) Fe2+, thiosulfate, and yeast extract or glucose (mixotrophic conditions), and (3) yeast extract (heterotrophic conditions). Cells grown mixo-, hetero-, and autotrophically were found to contain enzymes of the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, as well as malate synthase, an enzyme of the glyoxylate cycle. Cells grown organotrophically in a medium with yeast extract exhibited the activity of the key enzymes of the Embden-Meyerhof-Parnas and Entner-Doudoroff pathways. An increased content of carbon dioxide (up to 5 vol%) in the auto- and mixotrophic media enhanced the activity of the enzymes involved in the terminal reactions of the TCA cycle and the enzymes of the pentose phosphate pathway. Carbon dioxide was fixed in the Calvin cycle. The highest activity of ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase was detected in cells grown autotrophically at the atmospheric content of CO2 in the air used for aeration of the growth medium. The activities of pyruvate carboxylase, phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase, phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxytransphosphorylase decreased with the increasing content of CO2 in the medium.  相似文献

The study was conducted during the experiment with 105-day isolation in experimental complex. In the present investigation we collected urine samples from 6 healthy volunteers. The physical activity, diurnal rhythm, temperature parameters and level of oxygen and carbon dioxide were controlled during the experiment. According to the program, food intake (electrolytes, water, calories, fat, carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, etc.) on each stage of experiment was normalized. All samples were analyzed using mass spectrometer of an ionic cyclotron resonance with transformation of Fure LTQ FT MS (Thermo) on the basis of the AMT-tags (accurate mass and time tags) approach. Among more than 20 000 we found out 690 proteotypical proteins and we identified about 600 urine proteins. For physiological interpretation of the proteome data we used computer systems ANDCell and ANDVisio. Clustering of proteins and application of these systems revealed proteins that are most closely associated with the regime of sodium intake, as well as build the network of their interactions.  相似文献

The character of chromosome pairing in meiocytes was studied in F1 wheat-rye Triticum aestivum L. x Secale cereale L. (ABDR, 4x = 28) hybrids with three types of chromosome behavior: reductional, equational, and equational + reductional. A high variation of the frequencies of bivalents and ring univalents was observed in meiocytes with the reductional or equational + reductional type of chromosome behavior. The type of chromosome division was found to affect the bivalent and ring univalent frequencies. Chromosome pairing occurred in 10.28% of meiocytes with the reductional chromosome behavior, 0.93% of meiocytes with the equational chromosome behavior, and 10.81% of meiocytes with the equational + reductional chromosome behavior. On average, 0.13 bivalents per cell formed in meiocytes of the hybrid population. C-banding and genomic in situ hybridization (GISH) showed that both rye and wheat chromosomes produced ring univalents. The role of the Ph genes in regulating the bivalent formation in meiocytes with different types of chromosome behavior is discussed.  相似文献

The influence of guanosine-5'-triphosphate and secondary messengers forming in rod outer segment membranes during light-stimulated hydrolysis of phosphoinositides on the ATP-dependent Ca(2+)-uptake in microsomes of the retinal rod inner segment was studied. The water-soluble cytoplasmic components of the retinal rod outer segment were shown to be capable of stimulating the Ca(2+)-pump of endoplasmic reticulum after light illumination. This process is likely to proceed with the participation of 1,2-diacylglycerol localized in microsome membrane.  相似文献

The mechanism of acetate assimilation in the purple nonsulfur bacterium Rhodobacter sphaeroides, which lacks the glyoxylate pathway, is studied. It is found that the growth of this bacterium in batch and continuous cultures and the assimilation of acetate in cell suspensions are not stimulated by bicarbonate. The consumption of acetate is accompanied by the excretion of glyoxylate and pyruvate into the medium, stimulated by glyoxylate and pyruvate, and inhibited by citramalate. The respiration of cells in the presence of acetate is stimulated by glyoxylate, pyruvate, citramalate, and mesaconate. These data suggest that the citramalate cycle may function in Rba. sphaeroides in the form of an anaplerotic pathway instead of the glyoxylate pathway. At the same time, the low ratio of fixation rates for bicarbonate and acetate exhibited by the Rba. sphaeroides cells (approximately 0.1), as well as the absence of the stimulatory effect of acetate on the fixation of bicarbonate in the presence of the Calvin cycle inhibitor iodoacetate, suggests that pyruvate synthase is not involved in acetate assimilation in the bacterium Rba. sphaeroides.  相似文献

In anesthetized rats, a reverse linear correlation of arterial pressure (AP) shifts was found within the range of initial AP over 95 mm Hg under the head-up tilts at 30 and 45 degrees. Within the range beneath 95 mm Hg this correlation was transformed into the direct one. Under 60 degrees tilt such correlation only occurred within the range beneath 95 mm Hg. The direction and degree of the arterial system responsiveness seems to depend on the tilt value as well as on the range of the initial AP.  相似文献
