Purpose
In this study, life cycle assessment (LCA) is applied to a sample of 40 low-energy individual houses for the French context in order to identify guidance values for different environmental priorities (energy and water consumption, greenhouse gases emissions, waste generation etc.).Methods
Calculation rules for the LCA derived from EeBGuide guidance and HQE Performance specific rules for the French context. Data are based on Environmental Product Declaration (EPD for the impacts related to products and technical equipment while generic data are used for energy and water processes. The LCA is defined for the entire life cycle of a building from cradle-to-grave according to NF EN 15978 standard. It includes the products and equipment implemented in the building, the different uses of energy for heating, domestic hot water, lighting, ventilation and auxiliaries, and the different uses of water consumption. Results and discussion
Results for the 40 houses showed that the average life cycle non-renewable primary energy consumption is about 37 kWh/(m2*year) while the life cycle greenhouse gases emissions are of 8.4 kg CO2-eq/(m2*year). The embodied impacts represent between 40% and 72% for the following indicators: acidification, global warming, non-renewable primary energy, and radioactive waste. The net fresh water use is mostly determined by the direct use of the water in use, and the non-hazardous waste indicator is only linked to the materials and equipment. When integrating the variability of the different houses design, energy performance, climate requirements, it was found that those values can vary of an order of two between the 10 and 90% percentiles’ values. It was found that the results are also sensitive to the enlargement of the system boundaries (e.g. inclusion of the other uses of energy such as building appliances) and the modification of the reference study period. Conclusions and recommendations
This study provided a first set of LCA guidance values describing a range of environmental impacts for new low-energy individual houses in France. Results were also reported for different design parameters, system boundaries and reference study period. The outcomes of this study can now serve as a basis to guide and support new LCA-based labelling systems developed by public authorities and labelling schemes (e.g. the HQE Association).34.

The European Green Deal and the German Resource Efficiency Programme both aim at decoupling resource consumption and associated environmental burdens from economic growth. Monitoring the progress of such policies requires robust estimates of environmental pressures and impacts, both from a domestic and a footprint perspective. Building on the life cycle assessment-based consumption footprint (CoF) indicator, developed by the European Commission Joint Research Centre, we assess the environmental impacts of Germany's consumption in the areas of food, mobility, housing, household goods, and appliances during the period 2010–2018. A comparison between European and national consumption statistics revealed some differences in terms of data composition, granularity, consumption intensities, and calculated environmental impacts. Using national data sources results in slightly lower environmental impacts (e.g., due to differences in the assessment scope of national statistics) and requires some data preparation to match the CoF indicator. Emerging consumption trends can be highlighted using national data. Both data sources converge on main trends: Germany transgresses the safe operating space for several impact categories, with consumption of food, household goods, and mobility being the main drivers. Domestic impacts have decreased over time at the expense of outsourcing environmental pressures and impacts to other countries. The CoF indicator could complement resource monitoring frameworks and might be further aligned to the national context using country-level consumption statistics and life cycle inventory data. 相似文献

Stripe rust is one of the most destructive diseases of wheat. Breeding for resistance is the most economical and environmentally
acceptable means to control stripe rust. Genetic studies on resistance sources are very important. Previous inheritance studies
on Triticum aestivum subsp. spelta cv. album and wheat cultivar Lee showed that each possessed a single dominant gene for stripe rust resistance, i.e., Yr5 and Yr7, respectively. Both were located on the long arm of chromosome 2B, but due to the complexities caused by genetic background
effects there was no clear evidence on the allelism or linkage status of these genes. Our study, involving an intercross of
Avocet S near-isogenic lines possessing the genes, provided clear evidence for allelism or extremely close linkage of Yr5 and Yr7 based on phenotypic and molecular studies. 相似文献

Dap (Defective aleurone pigmentation) is the designation for mutations in maize that give rise to a characteristic dappled endosperm phenotype, consisting
of patches of purple tissue, of variable size and shape, on a yellow background. Features shared by all Dap mutants are: dominant expression when they are maternally derived, lack of expression or transmission when they originate
from pollen, failure to recover homozygous Dap genotypes, reduced frequency of Dap seeds in the progeny of outcrosses of Dap/+ females, association of the dappled phenotype with reduction in seed size. The mutants so far tested, six in all, can be
grouped into two classes, one including male-transmissible (MT) isolates not expressed in the endosperm if their contribution
is paternal, and a second class of isolates (NMT) that are permanently lost following paternal transmission. We suggest that
the NMT mutations are on a chromosome that carries an intercalary deletion. Assuming linkage between the mutant and the deletion,
selection against the deficient chromosome during male gametogenesis would account for the failure to recover Dap seeds in the progeny of Dap/+ male parents. We have obtained genetic evidence supporting this hypothesis. This interpretation, however, does not apply
to MT alleles. For these, other mechanisms, such as imprinting and/or dosage effects may be proposed. The mutable pattern
in the endosperm to which all Dap mutants give rise is an intriguing phenotype which remains to be clarified. An unexpected finding is that aleuronic and subaleuronic
cells corresponding to the colourless areas are abnormal in shape and anthocyanin biosynthesis is blocked in these cells.
This finding calls for further investigation in light of a possible connection between flavonoid precursors and cell shape.

Famoxadone is a new cytochrome bc(1) Q(o) site inhibitor that immobilizes the iron-sulfur protein (ISP) in the b conformation. The effects of famoxadone on electron transfer between the iron-sulfur center (2Fe-2S) and cyt c(1) were studied using a ruthenium dimer to photoinitiate the reaction. The rate constant for electron transfer in the forward direction from 2Fe-2S to cyt c(1) was found to be 16,000 s(-1) in bovine cyt bc(1). Binding famoxadone decreased this rate constant to 1,480 s(-1), consistent with a decrease in mobility of the ISP. Reverse electron transfer from cyt c(1) to 2Fe-2S was found to be biphasic in bovine cyt bc(1) with rate constants of 90,000 and 7,300 s(-1). In the presence of famoxadone, reverse electron transfer was monophasic with a rate constant of 1,420 s(-1). It appears that the rate constants for the release of the oxidized and reduced ISP from the b conformation are the same in the presence of famoxadone. The effects of famoxadone binding on electron transfer were also studied in a series of Rhodobacter sphaeroides cyt bc(1) mutants involving residues at the interface between the Rieske protein and cyt c(1) and/or cyt b. 相似文献
