以宁夏盐池县荒漠草原人工柠条(Caragana intermedia)林为研究对象,分别选取柠条林冠下东侧(SE),冠下西侧(SW)及带间(Gap)为研究样地,从群落水平探讨柠条对冠下草本植物群落结构、物种多样性及功能群分布的影响。结果表明:(1)在3种微生境中均鉴定出12种植物,SW以蒙古冰草为优势种,SE以蒙古冰草和中亚白草为优势种,Gap则以蒙古冰草和牛枝子为优势种。(2)与Gap相比,SW和SE植物群落的平均高度分别增加了41.06%和81.75%,地上生物量分别增加了40.88%和38.73%。SW和SE中,禾本科植物地上生物量分别占地上总生物量的67.10%和58.40%,显著高于Gap (P<0.05)。(3)柠条冠层效应使得草本植物的物种丰富度指数增加,但Shannon-Winner指数、Simpson指数和Pielou指数显著差异(P>0.05),变化范围分别为1.620-1.756、0.701-0.730和0.775-0.878。(4)冗余分析表明:土壤温度、空气相对湿度及土壤有机碳是影响草本植物物种多样性及生物量的主要因子,解释量分别为42.70%,11.70%和8.80%。研究表明,柠条对冠下草本植物群落尤其是禾本科植物具有一定的保育作用,该效应的产生主要是由于柠条冠下微气候及土壤环境因子的改善为草本植物的生长发育提供了有利条件。柠条对草本植物的保育作用对荒漠草原生态环境的保护与恢复具有重要意义。  相似文献

遗传和营养因素都能影响猪肉的品质。但是, 到目前为止同时研究遗传和营养因素对肉质影响的报道很少。在本研究中, 136头PIC5系杂交猪, 体重65 kg, 被随机分成4组, 各组分别给予不同日粮。在饲养35 d、体重大约90 kg时统一屠宰并且进行肉质测定、H-FABP基因分型及其与肉质性状的关联分析。结果表明: (1)所采用的3种日粮对肉色、屠宰后24 h的pH、肌内脂肪和肌肉蛋白含量有极显著的影响; (2)H-FABP基因型对肌内脂肪和肌肉蛋白含量存在极显著的影响; (3)H-FABP基因多态性和营养因素的交互作用对pH 和肌内脂肪含量均有显著的影响, 对照组的AA基因型具有最高pH值, 高维生素E组的AA基因型具有最高肌内脂肪值。实验结果提示在关于猪肉质的育种和生产过程中应该同时考虑营养因素和遗传因素。  相似文献

The stress, or heat shock response of eukaryotic cells is characterized by dramatic changes in the metabolism of responding cells, most notably the increased synthesis of a group of proteins known as heat shock proteins. In this study, we examined the relationship of prostaglandin synthesis/release to the stress response. Stress protein synthesis was induced with sodium arsenite, and prostaglandin E2 and prostacyclin (measured as 6-keto PGF1 alpha) levels were determined by enzyme immunoassay. The stress response was monitored by the incorporation of [35S]methionine and separation of protein by one-dimensional sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Prostaglandin synthesis and the stress response were both induced by sodium arsenite. However, aspirin, a cyclooxygenase inhibitor, inhibited arsenite-induced prostaglandin synthesis but did not inhibit stress protein synthesis. Conversely, the calcium ionophore A23187 also stimulated prostaglandin synthesis, but did not induce the stress response. The results of this study indicate that sodium arsenite, a stress response inducer, stimulates prostaglandin production, but this appears to be a correlative rather than causative occurrence in the stress response. Determination of the cytotoxicity of arsenite indicated a high correlation of stimulation of prostaglandin release with cytotoxicity.  相似文献

Background

The lack of guidelines on reporting standards for protein electrophoresis may have led to significant differences in reports from different laboratories.

Objective

To determine the extent of variation in reporting of protein electrophoresis results in Australia and New Zealand.

Method

Questionnaires were distributed to laboratories throughout Australia and New Zealand asking about protein electrophoresis practices and reporting.

Results

Extensive variation was found in the following reporting practices: (a) units for urine Bence Jones protein (BJP); (b) reporting absence of a paraprotein rather than a normal pattern; (c) numerical reporting of all protein fractions or only the paraprotein; (d) warning of possible inaccuracy in the serum immunoglobulin result of the paraprotein type; (e) co-migration of a paraprotein with a normal serum protein; (f) use of a confirmatory test when a known paraprotein is no longer detectable.

Conclusions

A working party should be established to make recommendations on the reporting of protein electrophoresis. Implementation of such recommendations should reduce both report variation between laboratories and the risk of misinterpretation of reports.  相似文献

The non-transmembrane phosphotyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP-1B) is an abundant enzyme, normally localized to the cytosolic face of the endoplasmic reticulum via a C-terminal targeting sequence. We have found that agonist-induced platelet activation results in proteolytic cleavage of PTP-1B at a site upstream from this targeting sequence, causing subcellular relocation of its catalytic domain from membranes to the cytosol. PTP-1B cleavage is catalyzed by the calcium-dependent neutral protease calpain and is a general feature of platelet agonist-induced aggregation. Moreover, PTP-1B cleavage correlates with the transition from reversible to irreversible platelet aggregation in platelet-rich plasma. Engagement of gpIIb-IIIa is necessary for inducing PTP-1B cleavage, suggesting that integrins regulate tyrosine phosphatases as well as tyrosine kinases. PTP-1B cleavage is accompanied by a 2-fold stimulation of its enzymatic activity, as measured by immune complex phosphatase assay, and correlates with discrete changes in the pattern of tyrosyl phosphorylation. Cleavage and subcellular relocation of PTP-1B represents a novel mechanism for altering tyrosyl phosphorylation that may have important physiological implications in cell types other than platelets.  相似文献

Contact of blood with a foreign surface activates platelets and leads to their consumption. This property is shared by most non-biological materials, including air, but can be reduced by an optimal balance of hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity, minimal capacity for hydrogen bonding, avoidance of crystallinity, maintenance of polymer backbone mobility, and other manipulations of the chemistry of the polymer. None the less, no totally non-thrombogenic artificial surface has been developed. Attention has therefore turned to suppression of platelet-surface interaction by drugs that alter platelet function. Agents that block cyclo-oxygenase inhibit surface-induced secretion and aggregation but have no effect on platelet adhesion. Drugs that increase platelet cyclic AMP levels have a dose-related effect, which at high concentrations can eliminate adhesion to surfaces. The most successful agent, prostacyclin, has achieved total protection of platelets during cardiopulmonary bypass, with preservation of normal platelet number and function. Associated vasodilatation is a notable side effect, and hypotension may prove to be a significant problem in clinical practice. The development of more selective analogues with minimal vasodepressor activity is to be encouraged.  相似文献
