This paper is part of an original approach of mathematical modeling for solving cyclic scheduling problems. More precisely, we consider the cyclic job shop. This kind of manufacturing systems is well fitted to medium and large production demands. Many methods have been proposed to solve the cyclic scheduling problem. Among them, we chose the exact techniques, and we focus on the mathematical programming approach. We proposed, in an earlier study, a mathematical programming model for cyclic scheduling with Work-In-Process minimization. We propose here several cutting techniques to improve the practical performances of the model resolution. Some numerical experiments are used to assess the relevance of our propositions. We made a comparison between the original mathematical model and the one endowed by the proposed cuts. This comparison is based on a set of benchmarks generated for this reason. Nodal, a secreted factor known for its conserved functions in cell-fate specification and the establishment of embryonic axes, is also required in mammals to maintain the pluripotency of the epiblast, the tissue that gives rise to all fetal lineages. Although Nodal is expressed as early as E3.5 in the mouse embryo, its regulation and functions at pre- and peri-implantation stages are currently unknown. Sensitive reporter transgenes for two Nodal cis-regulatory regions, the PEE and the ASE, exhibit specific expression profiles before implantation. Mutant and inhibitor studies find them respectively regulated by Wnt/β-catenin signaling and Activin/Nodal signaling, and provide evidence for localized and heterogeneous activities of these pathways in the inner cell mass, the epiblast and the primitive endoderm. These studies also show that Nodal and its prime effector, FoxH1, are not essential to preimplantation Activin/Nodal signaling. Finally, a strong upregulation of the ASE reporter in implanting blastocysts correlates with a downregulation of the pluripotency factor Nanog in the maturing epiblast. This study uncovers conservation in the mouse blastocyst of Wnt/β-catenin and Activin/Nodal-dependent activities known to govern Nodal expression and the establishment of polarity in the blastula of other deuterostomes. Our results indicate that these pathways act early on to initiate distinct cell-specification processes in the ICM derivatives. Our data also suggest that the activity of the Activin/Nodal pathway is dampened by interactions with the molecular machinery of pluripotency until just before implantation, possibly delaying cell-fate decisions in the mouse embryo. 相似文献

The fast growth of smart electronics requires novel solutions to power them sustainably. Portable power sources capable of harvesting biomechanical energy are a promising modern approach to reduce battery dependency. Herein, a novel elastic impact‐based nonresonant hybridized generator (EINR‐HG) is reported to effectively harvest biomechanical energy from diverse human activities outdoors. Through the rational integration of a nonlinear electromagnetic generator with two contact‐mode triboelectric nanogenerators, the proposed EINR‐HG generates hybrid electrical output simultaneously under the same mechanical excitations. By introducing a flux‐concentrator with a nanowire‐nanofiber surface modification, significant improvement in the energy harvesting efficiency of the EINR‐HG is achieved. After optimizing using simulations and vibration tests, the as‐fabricated EINR‐HG delivers an outstanding normalized power density of 3.13 mW cm?3 g?2 across a matching resistance of 1.5 kΩ at 6 Hz under 1 g acceleration. Under human motion testing, the EINR‐HG generates an optimal output power of 131.4 mW with horizontal handshaking. With a customized power management circuit, the EINR‐HG serves as a universal power source that successfully drives commercial smart electronics, including smart bands and smartphones. This work shows the massive potential of biomechanical energy‐driven hybridized generators for powering personal electronics and portable healthcare monitoring devices. 相似文献

Background & Aims
Dried blood spots (DBS) on filter paper have been successfully used to diagnose and monitor several infectious diseases. The aim was to investigate the performance of DBS in hepatitis B virus (HBV) diagnosis using commercial tests in comparison to standard methods.Methods
Paired DBS and plasma samples were collected from 200 patients: 100 patients with HBsAg negative status and 100 patients with HBsAg positive status. In the latter patient, HBeAg reactivity was tested. Ten samples of anti-HBs were collected from people vaccinated against HBV. We also studied 50 patients with positive HBV DNA viral load in plasma and 10 HBV DNA negative patients. HBV genotypes and gene polymerase mutations were determined in 10 randomly selected HBV-infected patients. The DBS sample consisted of 50 µL of whole blood, i.e. a 12-mm paper card.Results
The sensitivity thresholds of HBsAg and anti-HBs antibody were 0.30±0.08 IU/mL and 18.11±6.05 IU/mL, respectively, for DBS with 98% sensitivity and 100% specificity. Sensitivity was 98% and specificity 100% for the detection of HBV DNA on a blotter, considering an HBV DNA threshold of 914.1±157.8 IU/ml. Ten patients had an HBeAg positive status in plasma, all were detected positive using DBS. HBV genotyping and mutation detection were successfully performed on DBS, with full concordance between the 10 paired DBS and plasma samples.Conclusion
This study shows DBS is a reliable alternative to plasma specimens for quantifying and detecting HBsAg, anti-HBs, HBeAg and genotyping. DBS may increase the opportunities for HBV testing and treatment follow-up in hard-to-reach individuals. 相似文献95.

two field campaigns (September 2003, March/April 2004) by diver operated suction samplers. Salinity tolerance experiments

Invasive Geotrichum clavatum fungal infections are extremely rare and unusual, occurring nearly exclusively in patients experiencing prolonged neutropenia during the treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia. Several groups of cases of fatal G. clavatum infection were reported in France between 2011 and 2012, but the ecological niche has not yet been identified. We report a case of a 32-year-old patient with acute myeloid leukaemia who developed G. clavatum sepsis with primary peritonitis, hepatic nodular lesions, and multivisceral failure during aplasia after induction followed by salvage chemotherapy. He was treated with voriconazole and is still alive 1 year after with controlled disease. We then discuss the epidemiological, clinical, and therapeutic features of these serious fungal infections compared to the published data. 相似文献

In this paper, a coupled bioluminescent assay, relying on the coupling of the enzymes acetylcholinesterase, S‐acetyl‐coenzyme A synthetase and firefly luciferase, for the detection and quantitation of organophosphorus pesticides, is presented. Using malathion as a model organophosphorus pesticide, the assay was optimized through statistical experimental design methodology, namely Plackett–Burman and central composite designs. The optimized method requires only 20 μL of sample. The linear range for the assay was 2.5–15 μM of malathion, with limits of detection and quantitation of 1.5 and 5.0 μM, respectively. This simple, fast and robust method allows samples to be analyzed at room temperature and without any pretreatment. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

diverse characteristics having different molecular configuration, structure and mode of action. Many toxins derived from snake
venom have distinct pharmacological activities. Venom from Bungarus fasciatus (commonly known as banded krait) is a species of
elapid snake found on the South East Asia and Indian sub-continent, mainly contains neurotoxins. Beta bungartotoxin is the major
fraction of Bungarus venom and particularly act pre-synaptically by obstructing neurotransmitter release. This toxin in other
snake species functionally forms a heterodimer containing two different subunits (A and B). Dimerization of these two chains is a
pre-requisite for the proper functionality of this protein. However, B. fasciatus bungartotoxin contains only B chain and their
structural orientation in yet to be resolved. Therefore, it is of interest to describe the predicted structure model of the toxin for
functional insights. In this work we analyzed the neurotoxic nature, their alignments, secondary and three dimensional structures,
functions, active sites and stability with the help of different bioinformatical tools. A comprehensive analysis of the predicted model
