Despite an old history of a question, adaptive brain reactions that develop after an acute brainstem lesion have not been adequately investigated. With the aim to study the central mechanisms of compensation/decompensation and to specify the character of involvement of orbitofrontal cortex and hippocampus into these processes the spatiotemporal organization of brain electric activity was analyzed in 8 rats before and after electrolytic brainstem lesion at the level of the lateral vestibular nucleus Deiters (VND). The electric activity was recorded from symmetric frontal and somatosensory cortical areas, hippocampal areas CA1, and intact VND. Spectralcoherent analysis showed that adaptive reactions are most clearly manifested by changes in the spatiotemporal organization of the theata activity: 1) early brainstemhippocampal synchronization of the electric activity in the frequency range of 6-7 Hz with subsequent involvement of anterior cortical regions is characteristic of survived animals; 2) independent hippocampal-cortical hemispheric system of excitation in the frequency of 4-5 Hz precedes the fatal outcome. On the day before the fatal outcome the interhemispheric coherence in the orbitofrontal cortex dropped, which suggests the involvement of these brain regions into the processes of visceral regulation. 相似文献

Seven structurally similar clones from potato (Solanum tuberosum L.), cv. Istrinskii genomic DNA were isolated by cloning of the PCR products. It was suggested that five of these clones were the amplified copies of the same gene. Based on comparative and structural analysis of these clones, initial nucleotide structure of the gene was reconstructed. It appeared to be highly homologous (98%) to the already published sequences encoding the proteins belonging to the soybean Kunitz trypsin inhibitor family (SKTI). Comparison of the results with the previously published data on the SKTI-type proteinase inhibitors from potato of cv. Istrinskii suggests that the gene examined encodes both chains of the earlier described PSPI-21-6.3 protein [9]. 相似文献

Cross protection of members of the domains Bacteria, Archaea, and lower Eukaryota from stress factors due to the action of extracellular low-molecular metabolites with adaptogenic functions was shown. The adaptogen produced by Luteococcus japonicus subsp. casei and described previously as a reactivating factor (RF) was shown to protect the yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae, archaea Haloarcula marismorti, and the cells of higher eukaryotes (HeLa) against weak stressor impacts. Production of an archaeal extracellular metabolite with a weak adaptogenic effect of the producer cells and capable of a threefold increase in survival of heat-inactivated yeast cells was discovered. The human visual system is the most sensitive to the deprivation of the object vision up to the age of 7, when the amblyopia produced by congenital or traumatic cataract develops in all cases and is "relatively" sensitive during the period from 7 to 15 years, when probability of amblyopia development and its degree are determined by the age of cataract appearance and duration of its existence. Visual deprivation taking place after 15 years does not lead to ambliopy. The data on visual evoked potentials (VEP) obtained during stimulation of the ambyopic and the second, intact eye are used in discussion of the neurophysiological mechanisms of the unilateral visual deprivation and of informative importance of VEP. 相似文献

In the primary visual cortex of an immobilized awake cat, nearly one-third of the neurons studied (8 out of 22) were found to respond to flashing cruciform light stimuli 1.5–4 times better than to single stimulations with the strips of preferred orientation. 【背景】orf3位于猪流行性腹泻病毒(porcine epidemic diarrhea virus,PEDV) s基因与e基因之间,是目前发现的PEDV唯一一个附属基因,编码附属蛋白(ORF3蛋白)。我们前期研究初步发现ORF3蛋白对PEDV诱导的细胞凋亡有影响。【目的】研究ORF3蛋白在PEDV侵染复制过程中的毒力作用机制。【方法】实验用3种PEDV:rDR13att-?ORF3 (orf3基因全部敲除)、DR13-ORF3att (携带有C端截短orf3)、rDR13att-ORF3wt(携带全长orf3基因)感染Vero细胞,观察病变情况,再用活细胞成像仪、流式细胞仪、 DNA断裂的原位末端标记法[terminaldeoxynucleotidyltransferase(TDT)-mediated dUTP nick end labeling,TUNEL]等方法检测不同感染时间点的细胞凋亡情况,然后用蛋白质印迹方法分析PEDV感染宿主细胞中主要凋亡相关蛋白(如Caspase-3)的活化或裂解,最后进行转录组测序研究病毒感染细胞中差异基因的表达情况,再用荧光定量PCR验证转录组结果。【结果】rDR13att-?ORF3引起较多的细胞病变,活细胞成像仪的动态观察结果显示,3种病毒侵染的细胞凋亡水平随着时间的延长均高于正常阴性细胞,但敲除orf3的病毒感染细胞后细胞凋亡率比其他两种病毒更高;敲除orf3病毒感染细胞凋亡率显著高于其他两种病毒;病毒rDR13att-?ORF3感染细胞后TUNEL阳性细胞数比DR13-ORF3att和rDR13att-ORF3wt更多;表达ORF3蛋白的重组PEDV可以抑制Caspase-3的活化;ORF3蛋白对受感染细胞Heat shock 70 kD protein 1B (HSP70)基因转录有促进作用,荧光定量PCR结果表明rDR13att-ORF3wt感染细胞的HSP70表达量高于rDR13att-?ORF3感染细胞。【结论】PEDV通过ORF3蛋白抑制细胞凋亡,而且这种作用可能是通过抑制Caspase-3的活化或增加HSP70的产生来完成的。 相似文献

目的:依据负荷理论,认知负荷会导致选择性注意任务中干扰刺激干扰效应的增加.本研究目的在于检验两种类型的认知负荷对色词Stroop干扰效应的影响.方法:实验一通过比较色词Stroop任务与言语工作记忆任务同时进行的双任务区组(高负荷条件)与单任务区组(低负荷条件)来检验认知负荷对构成Stroop干扰效应的语义冲突及反应冲突产生的影响.实验二则通过比较色词Stroop任务与言语工作记忆任务相协调的双任务区组(高负荷条件)与单任务区组(低负荷条件)来操纵认知负荷.结果:实验一的结果显示工作记忆负荷变化对语义冲突及反应冲突均不产生影响.实验二发现虽然在反应时指标上认知负荷与一致性之间未产生显著交互作用,但在错误率指标上两者交互作用达到显著,说明在高认知负荷条件下反应冲突显著增加了.结论:认知负荷对选择性注意任务中干扰刺激干扰效应的影响取决于认知负荷类型及冲突所发生的水平. 相似文献
