Germacranolides from Schkuhria anthemoidea

The isolation of eucannabinolide and three new sesquiterpene lactones from Schkuhria anthemoidea is reported. The structures and stereochemistries of the new compounds were established by chemical and spectroscopic means. The structure of santhemoidin B was confirmed by X-ray crystallography.     

Infection and development of Nosema bombycis (Microsporida: Protozoa) in a cell line of Antheraea eucalypti

Spores of Nosema bombycis derived from diseased insects were highly purified by Urografin density gradient centrifugation. Antheraea eucalypti cells were inoculated with the purified spores primed with 0.1 n KOH solution to start a continuous propagation of N. bombycis in cell culture. The first increase in the number of infected A. eucalypti cells was observed at 48 hr postinoculation, and it was caused by the secondary infective forms of N. bombycis. The secondary infective forms were produced during the course of sporoblast differentiation. The parasites in cell cultures divided synchronously until 36 hr postinoculation. Mature spores were observed initially 6 days postinoculation at 27°C. The infected cultures were subcultured extensively for more than 1 year with the addition of healthy A. eucalypti cells.     

青枯假单胞杆菌噬菌体ZP-2和ZP-3的生物学性状

噬菌体可作为检测和区分植物病原细菌的一种手段。有关青枯假单胞杆菌(Pseudomo-n~(as solanacearum) 噬菌体的研究工作报道不多,姜瘟菌株上的噬菌体则还未见报道。本文所报道的关于分离自土壤的青枯假单胞杆菌姜瘟菌株(ZO-12)的噬菌体ZP-2和ZP-3生物学性状的研究结果,可为这些噬菌体的利用提供参考依据。     

猪垂体总mRNA的提取、鉴定及其cDNA的合成

 用改进的LiCl沉淀法和寡聚(dT)-纤维素亲和层析法由猪垂体制得总mRNA。在兔网织红细胞无细胞翻译体系中进行体外翻译的结果表明,制得的总mRNA具有一定的翻译活力。翻译产物与兔抗猪生长激素抗血清发生免疫沉淀,沉淀物占总翻译产物的10％左右。SDS聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳的结果表明翻译产物有一条很深的带,分子量约为24,000道尔顿,与猪前生长激素的分子量相近。以制备的mRNA为模板反转录合成了双链cDNA。第一链的合成产率为10—35％,第二链的合成产率为84—115％。cDNA的平均分子长度为825bp。     

DQ α and β RFLP reveals the composition of the DQ molecule recognized by T-cell clones

Pst I RFLP, revealed with DQ and DQ probes, was compared with Taq I RFLP using a panel of DR-homozygous cell lines and HLA-typed family members. Taq I patterns, characteristic for each DR-associated DQ and allelic forms, were recognized in the homozygous state and then proven to segregate in the heterozygous members of informative families. The presence of both specific and chains was found to be necessary to form the type of DQ molecule specifically recognized by two alloreactive T-cell clones. Particular and associations also seem to be responsible for some Dw splits of the DRw6-positive cells. Antral gastrin- and somatostatin-producing cells and intraluminal peptide secretion in normal subjects and duodenal ulcer patients with and without vagotomy

The behaviour of gastrin (G) cells and somatostatin (D) cells in endoscopic antral biopsies and that of intraluminal gastrin (ILG) and somatostatin (ILS) release in the gastric juice were investigated in three groups of patients: control subjects, duodenal ulcer (DU) patients and DU patients treated by a superselective vagotomy (SSV). G and D cell densities were correlated in the three groups of subjects. The G/D cell ratio was significantly increased in SSV patients (P less than 0.001) as compared to control and DU patients. No correlation was found between gastrin or somatostatin cell densities and basal intraluminal levels of the two peptides. ILG output was significantly higher in DU patients than in control or SSV patients (P less than 0.001). ILS output was also higher in DU patients than in controls (P less than 0.001) and in SSV patients (P less than 0.05). It was also significantly augmented in SSV (P less than 0.001) as compared to control patients. ILG and ILS concentrations were only correlated in controls. Within each of the three groups of subjects, ILG and ILS release varied in function of the gastric juice pH. Our results emphasize the necessity to consider the intragastric pH as well as the physiological or pathological state to study intraluminal peptides in man.     

水蒸汽蒸馏巴柑檬叶和果皮精油化学成分的研究

巴柑檬是我们第一次从国外引种成功的一种名贵香料植物。用色谱-质谱-计算机联用技术、毛细管气相色谱保留指数法和标准品叠加法分析了水蒸汽蒸馏巴柑檬叶和果皮精油的化学成分。从叶和果皮精油分离出来的220个和200个成分中,分别鉴定出48个和57个成分。鉴定组分的含量分别占叶和果皮精油的99.80％和98.54％。叶精油与果皮精油在化学成分方面的主要区别是叶油中萜烃化合物含量较低,而萜醇类化合物含量较高。     

云南壮异蝽属及娇异蝽属新种记述(半翅目:异蝽科)

云南地区的壮异蝽属(Urochela Dallas)和娇异蝽属(Hrostylis Westwood)截止到目前共记录23种。本文记述了在该省西部地区发现的5新种,现描述如下。模式标本保存于天津南开大学生物系。 钩壮异蝽Urochela hamata,新种(图1,2) 体黄褐色,具黑褐色花斑及黑色刻点。触角第4节中部及第5节基半部为淡黄色;     

Isolation and structural studies on a galactofuranosyl-containing glycopeptide fromAscobolus furfuraceus

A galactofuranosyl-containing glycopeptide has been isolated from mycelium ofAscobolus furfuraceus by extraction with water. The glycoconjugate was purified by DEAE-cellulose chromatography followed by gel filtration. A molecular weight of about 20 000 was determined by the latter method using standard dextrans. Neutral sugars accounted for 94.5% of the glycopeptide and were characterized as mannose, galactose, and glucose. Glucosamine was estimated colorimetrically (1.8%). The molar ratio of Man:Gal:Glc:GlcNH₂ was 68:32:16:2. A trace amount of total phosphorus (0.2%) was found. The predominant amino acids were threonine and serine. The peptide moiety was labeled with [¹⁴C]formaldehyde and the elution of radioactivity was coincident with sugar on gel filtration in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate. The peak of radioactivity was retarded on release of galactose by mild acid hydrolysis. These results confirm the sugar-peptide linkage.
