A model of the regulation of the activity of ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase, electron transport, and the rate of orthophosphate regeneration by starch and sucrose synthesis in response to changes in light intensity and partial pressures of CO2 and O2 is presented. The key assumption behind the model is that nonlimiting processes of photosynthesis are regulated to balance the capacity of limiting processes. Thus, at CO2 partial pressures below ambient, when a limitation on photosynthesis by the capacity of rubisco is postulated, the activities of electron transport and phosphate regeneration are down-regulated in order that the rate of RuBP regeneration matches the rate of RuBP consumption by rubisco. Similarly, at subsaturating light intensity or elevated CO2, when electron transport or Pi regeneration may limit photosynthesis, the activity of rubisco is downregulated to balance the limitation in the rate of RuBP regeneration. Comparisons with published data demonstrate a general consistency between modelled predictions and measured results.  相似文献

The embryo production records of 27 Welsh Black cows in a multiple ovulation and embryo transfer (MOET) program were examined. Signlficant monthly variations in the number of viable embryos recovered (P=0.07) and in embryo viability (P=0.002) were detected, although ovarian responses did not vary. Embryo recovery was not affected by the type of catheter used or by the side of the uterus flushed.  相似文献

The effects of Booroola genotype (F+, ++); the number of ovulations per ewe (one, two or three); and the age of a ewe (2.5 yr vs 3.5 to 6.5 yr) on the percentage of ova fertilized, embryo loss and fetal loss were examined in Booroola x South Australian Merino ewes slaughtered on Days 4, 21 and 90 after insemination. Ewes slaughtered on Day 90 were examined by real-time ultrasound imaging (RUI) on Day 45. Fertilization failure was independent of ewe genotype, ovulation rate and age of ewe, and it was not an important source of wastage (F+, 9.4%; ++, 6.7%). Most embryo loss occurred during the first 21 d (F+, 54.7%; ++, 40.3%). Interpretation of the effects of genotype and ovulation rate on embryo wastage measured on Days 21, 45 and 90 was obscured by significant (P < 0.05) genotype and ovulation rate interactions with the day of slaughter/RUI. The effect of age on embryo loss was not significant (P > 0.05). Reasons for the high rate of wastage observed in this experiment require further study.  相似文献

本文运用植物群落中植物优势种的重要值与相对应子群落的土壤特征值直接相关联的分析方法,对湖北宜昌大老岭的桦(Betula)、栎(Quercus)、栗(Castanea)七个群落类型的三个演替途径的土壤动态进行分析,结果表明:在植物群落的演替过程中,土壤中的Ca、pH值减少;离子代换量增加;Na、Mg、NH_4+-N、速效P、速效K、有机质的含量是随着物种的变化而呈不同的趋势。因此,植物群落的演替是生态系统的动态过程。  相似文献

悬浮在水中的嗜盐菌紫膜碎片,在外电场作用下产主定向排列.在20℃时,568nm的电二色性研究表明:外加电场为2kV/m时取向程度可达60%以上;大于5.5kV/m时,取向作用趋于饱和状态;饱和时简约电二色性为-0.437左右,视黄醛生色团的跃迁矩方向与电偶极矩方向形成60.9°夹角;紫膜的永久偶极短为9.2×10~(-24)C、M,剩余电极化率为3.0×10~(-27)m~2;紫膜的旋转扩散常数为0.53秒~(-1).曲线拟合分析表明,感应偶极对紫膜碎片的定向的贡献应予考虑.本文对紫膜碎片的定向机理进行了讨论.  相似文献

The effect of formate and hydrogen on isomerization and syntrophic degradation of butyrate and isobutyrate was investigated using a defined methanogenic culture, consisting of syntrophic isobutyrate-butyrate degrader strain IB, Methanobacterium formicicum strain T1N, and Methanosarcina mazeii strain T18. Formate and hydrogen were used to perturb syntrophic butyrate and isobutyrate degradation by the culture. The reversible isomerization between isobutyrate and butyrate was inhibited by the addition of either formate or hydrogen, indicating that the isomerization was coupled with syntrophic butyrate degradation for the culture studied. Energetic analysis indicates that the direction of isomerization between isobutyrate and butyrate is controlled by the ratio between the two acids, and the most thermodynamically favorable condition for the degradation of butyrate or isobutyrate in conjunction with the isomerization is at almost equal concentrations of isobutyrate and butyrate. The degradation of isobutyrate and butyrate was completely inhibited in the presence of a high hydrogen partial pressure (>2000 Pa) or a measurable level of formate (10 muM or higher). Significant formate (more than 1 mM) was detected during the perturbation with hydrogen (17 to 40 kPa). Resumption of butyrate and isobutyrate degradation was related to the removal of formate. Energetic analysis supported that formate was another electron carrier, besides hydrogen, during syntrophic isobutyrate-butyrate degradation by this culture. (c) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

调查我区300名医护人员手带菌情况,发现医生手的合格率为47.22%,护士手的合格率为66.46%,说明我区医护人员的污染情况是比较严重的。讨论了医护人员手的污染产生原因春对造成院内交叉感染的影响,提出用肥皂加流水洗手的方法是有效的,要求医护人员在进行每项操作前后要进行认真有效的洗手,加强医护人员的无菌观念和慎独修养,定期进行手的细菌检测,以预防院内感染。  相似文献

应用免疫荧光抗体技术检测了整合有猪瘟病毒反义基因的PK-15细胞克隆对猪瘟病毒的抑制效应。结果表明,五个不同的反义基因片段对猪瘟病毒的抑制效率存在很大差异,其中A片段的抑制效率最高(94%~98%),B片段次之(58%~76%),C片段再次(~64%),D片段和E片段未见明显的抑制效应。抑制效率的差异可能与反义基因片段的位置、长短以及反义RNA表达质粒载体的差异有关。  相似文献
