Light and electron microscopic investigation has been made of the main structural components of the nervous tissue in two divisions of the telencephalon (the dorsal ventricular ridge and striatum) in 10-day chick embryos. Special attention was paid to the degree of maturation of cellular elements of the nervous tissue, the development of neuropil and the level of synaptogenesis. The data obtained suggest heterochronous maturation of the divisions investigated. Striatum, being phylogenetically more ancient structure, is formed prior to the dorsal ventricular ridge.  相似文献

Analysis of mtDNA variation in one of the amphidromic Far Eastern redfins, Tribolodon hakonensis, revealed the presence of three considerably genetically different mtDNA phylogroups in the individuals from the Russian part of the range. These data suggest the presence of the two periods of divergent evolution in the history of the species examined. Comparison of the haplotype distributions from different phylogroups over the species range revealed geographic localization of only one phylogroup in the population samples from southern continental coastal regions of the Sea of Japan. At the same time, two other phylogroups were found in almost equal ratios in northern continental samples and near the Sakhalin Island. These results suggest that the first stage of the divergent evolution, which occured between Pliocene and Pleistocene, resulted in the formation of genetically isolated form (probably, a species) in the region of the Sea of Japan. The second, later period of divergence, probably associated with the separation of the Sea of Okhotsk from the Pacific Ocean then ended with the integration of earlier genetically separated forms into one species with the common gene pool.  相似文献

The mechanism of adaptation of the acrylamide producing strain Rhodococcus rhodochrous M8 to changes in ammonium concentrations in the medium was studied. An increase in the content of ammonium in the medium changed the activity of glutamine synthetase (GS) (EC 6.3.1.2) and glutamine dehydrogenase (GD) (EC 1.4.1.4), the enzymes of ammonium assimilation, as well as the activities of enzymes responsible for nitrile utilization: nitrile hydratase (EC 4.2.1.84) and amidase (EC 3.5.1.4). This also caused inhibition of activation of GS induced by phosphodiesterase (EC 3.1.4.1). Increases in the activities of nitrile hydratase and amidase and resistance of these enzymes to ammonium were observed in mutant of R. rhodichrous resistant to phosphotricine, an inhibitor of GS. An important role of GS in the mechanism of adaptation is suggested.  相似文献

Correlation between the activity of esterase and ecdysterone puffs was observed by comparison of puff expression in the areas of alpha- and beta-esterase genes localization and exogenous ecdysterone-sensitive areas (2-G-1-2-G-5). 2-G-5 puff expression and beta-esterase activation correlated with decrease of ecdysterone puffs activity. Constant puffing in 2-G-1 and 2-G-4 matched with constant activity of alpha-specific isoenzymes. The F1 larvae from cross between lines with normal and null-allele beta Est2 gene carried heteromorph puff and its expression depended upon cross direction.  相似文献

Intensive non-specific inactivation of the cortex by means of its local cooling, in the cat anasthetized with nembutal, blocks in a similar way the early component of associative responses (ECAR) in the parietal area and the primary responses (PR) in the projection areas. In the case of local application of neurotropic drugs possessing specific and differentiated action on postsynaptic activity, the same ECAR changes require a somewhat higher concentration of the reagents as compared with the concentration that produces a similar PR transformation. The higher threshold of chemical sensitivity in ECAR than in the PR depends on the characteristics of the morpho-functional organization of the cortical formations. Dissimilar reactivity of the direct cortical response and of ECAR of the parietal area to the action of chemical drugs is related to the peculiarities of intracortical origin of these potentials which are due to the dissimilar nature of their generation in response to a direct and to a peripheral stimulation.  相似文献

Light and electron microscopic studies have been made of the nervous tissue in three parts of the tecto-thalamo-telencephalic visual system--i.e. tectum opticum, nucleus rotundus of thalamus and ectostriatum of telencephalon--of 13-day chick embryos. Neuroblasts and neurones at various stages of differentiation were described together with various types of synaptic and nonsynaptic intercellular contacts in the neuropil of these brain structures. Heterochronous maturation of these parts of the visual system in embryogenesis was noted which reflects the level of their phylogenetic maturity. Being phylogenetically more ancient structures, tectum opticum and nucleus rotundus reveal differentiation earlier than ectostriatum which is phylogenetically younger.  相似文献
