中国优质水果资源的分布与适宜生态环境

根据农业部在80年代两次组织评选出的全国189个优质水果产地的生态环境资料,用微型电子计算机系统建立数据库,统计分析柑桔、苹果和梨优质产品的构成比例、产区分布地域及其适宜的环境指标和主栽品种的生态适应性,为果树良种区域化栽培与选育提供依据。     

Modulation of mechanosensitive calcium-selective cation channels by temperature

Gating of associations of mechanosensitive Ca²⁺-selective cation co-channels in the plasmalemma of onion epidermis has a strong and unusual temperature dependence. Tension-dependent activity rises steeply as temperature is lowered from 25°C to about 6°C, but drops to a low level at about 5°C. Under the conditions tested (with Mg²⁺ and K⁺ at the cytosolic face of outside-out membrane patches), promotion results both from more bursting at all observed linkage levels and from longer duration of bursts of co-channels linked as quadruplets and quintuplets. Co-channel conductance decreases linearly, but only modestly, with declining temperature. It is proposed that these and related mechanosensitive channels may participate in a variety of responses to temperature, including thermonasty, thermotropism, hydrotropism, and both cold damage and cold acclimation.     

小麦Kr基因在小麦与玉米或鸭茅状摩擦禾杂交中的失活

用３７个小麦（Ｔｒｉｔｉｃｕｍａｅｓｔｉｖｕｍ）品种（系）为母本,分别与黑麦（Ｓｅｃａｌｅｃｅｒｅａｌｅ）、球茎大麦（Ｈｏｒｄｅｕｍｂｕｌｂｏｓｕｍ）、玉米（Ｚｅａｍａｙｓ）和鸭茅状摩擦禾（Ｔｒｉｐｓａｃｕｍｄａｃｔｙｌｏｉｄｅｓ）杂交,比较其亲和性,小麦和玉米或鸭茅状摩擦禾杂交比小麦与黑麦或球茎大麦杂交的亲和性显著提高。携带着显性Ｋｒ１和Ｋｒ２基因的小麦品种Ｈｏｐｅ与黑麦杂交,不能形成胚,而与玉米及鸭茅状摩擦禾杂交时,成胚率分别达１６．００％和３２．５０％。表明控制小麦与黑麦及球茎大麦杂交亲和性的Ｋｒ基因系统在小麦与玉米及小麦与鸭茅状摩擦禾属间杂交中失活。讨论了还存在有其它控制小麦属间杂交亲和性的遗传调控系统的可能性。     

Cloning and comparative mapping of a gene from the commonly deleted region of DiGeorge and Velocardiofacial syndromes conserved in C. elegans

We have identified and cloned a gene, ES2, encoding a putative 476 amino acid protein with a predicted M _r of 52,568. The gene is localized within the DiGeorge/Velocardiofacial syndrome locus on 22q11.2 and is deleted in all the patients in which a deletion within 22q11 could be demonstrated, with the exception of one patient. ES2 is expressed in all the tissues studied. Sequence comparison showed identity with five ESTs and at the amino acid level the sequence was highly similar to, and collinear with, a hypothetical C. elegans protein of unknown function. Mutation analysis was performed in 16 patients without deletion, but no mutation has been found. The cDNA sequence is conserved in mouse and is localized on MMU16B1-B3, known to contain a syntenic group in common with HSA 22q11.2. Received: 25 March 1996 / Accepted: 15 May 1996     

Effect of taurine on wound healing

Summary Taurine which has antioxidant effects is also known to have effects on cell proliferation, inflammation and collagenogenesis. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of taurine on incisional skin wounds.The mice incised on the dorsal area were divided into control and experimental groups. Saline was injected intraperitoneally to half of the animals in the control group and locally applied to the other half. Fifty mM taurine solution was given intraperitoneally to the first half of the experimental animals and locally to the second half of the experimental group.After four days of treatment, malondialdehyde (MDA) and histamine levels as well as the tensile strength of the wound tissue were measured. Structural alterations in epidermis and dermis were histologically evaluated.The locally administreated taurine significantly increased wound tensile strength by decreasing the MDA and histamine levels and prevented the degranulation of the mast cells. These observations suggest that taurine may be useful on wound healing.     

中国铜脚异丽金龟组及其分类问题讨论(鞘翅目:丽金龟科)(英)

新设的铜脚异丽金龟组包括中国异丽金龟属已知的大型、绿色种类,绝大多数为常见种,彼此形态十分近似。它们是:铜脚异丽金龟(新纪录)Anomala cupripes Hope new record,红脚异丽金龟(新种)A. rubripes sp. nov., 绿脚异丽金龟(新亚种)A. rubripes virescens ssp. nov., 彤脚异丽金龟(新种)A. ignipes sp. nov., 川直异丽金龟A. truncata Bates,滇直异丽金龟(新等级)A. truncata chlorochelys Arrow, stat, nov., 宽角异丽金龟A. expansa Bates,大绿异丽金龟(新种)A. virens sp. nov., 砂尾异丽金龟(新种)A. granuliformis sp. nov. 和檐角异丽金龟(新种)A. planicorna sp. nov.。其中红脚异丽金龟和绿脚异丽金龟是我国南部和台湾的重要害虫,国内外文献中长期误作铜脚异丽金龟引用至今。     

慢性心功能不全大鼠心脏和血淋巴细胞β-肾上腺素受体的改变

在主动脉与肾动脉缩窄造成的慢性心功能不全大鼠,血浆儿茶酚胺浓度增高;心脏β-肾上腺素受体(β-AR)数量增加,其中β_1-AR及其mRNA增加,而β_2-AR及其mRNA不变;左心房异丙基肾上腺素(ISO)浓度-收缩效应曲线右移;而心肌ISO浓度-cAMP蓄积曲线无显著改变;血淋巴细胞β-AR数量显著减少.结果提示心功能不全时心脏β_1-AR数量增多,但其介导的正性变力效应反而降低,在cAMP生成以后的信号转导过程或心肌收缩成分功能存在障碍,而血淋巴细胞β-AR的改变与心脏β-AR的功能改变平行.     

A method for introducing site-specific mutations using oligonucleotide primers and its application to site-saturation mutagenesis

Oligonucleotide primer-directed mutagenesis is a useful molecular biological tool, which is invalubable for the study of the structure/function relationships in proteins and for the creation of mutant proteins possessing modified or novel biological activities. Mutagenesis studies in which a site-saturation approach is employed require a high-efficiency mutagenesis procedure, which will generate a population of mutated molecules containing an even distribution of all possible amino acid changes, or a subset thereof. This article describes such a mutagenesis technique and discusses the adaptations that are necessary to perform sitesaturation mutagenesis.
