The developmental changes of prostaglandin (PG) synthesizing enzymes in the digestive system (stomach and small intestine) and the immune system (spleen and thymus) of rats were investigated. In all the digestive organs, the predominant PG produced from PGH2 changed at around 2 weeks after birth to another PG. Further, the predominant activities of PG synthesizing enzymes were different organ by organ in the digestive system. In the case of the immune system, only the activity of PGD2 synthesizing enzyme displayed a significant increase during development and the activities of other PG synthesizing enzymes remained insignificant throughout the development. These results suggest that PGs may play important roles during the development of each organ.  相似文献

云南省西双版纳产依兰油,用Finnigan-4510型毛细管气相色谱/质谱/计算机联用方法进行了化学成分分析,共分离检出了50个成分,鉴定了其中22个成分,占全精油的95.27%。主要成分为:β-丁香烯(33.00%),γ-穆罗烯(19.82%)。α-(艹律)草烯(7.69%),乙酸香叶酯(6.21%),香柠檬烯(5.40%),苯甲酸苄酯(5.33%),金合欢醇(4.75%),金合欢烯(3.29%),香叶醇(2.48%),对甲酚甲醚(2.41%)。并讨论了如何提高国产依兰油质量的问题。  相似文献

The epitope-specific cytochrome P-450 content of animal livers was analysed by radioimmunoassay using a panel of seven monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) made to a 3-methylcholanthrene-induced rat liver cytochrome P-450. Competitive radioimmunoassays utilizing a reference radiolabelled MAb and a series of unlabelled MAbs indicated that there are at least three distinct classes of MAbs to different epitopes on cytochrome P-450. In addition, a direct radioimmunoassay employing a radiolabelled second antibody detected MAb-specific cytochromes P-450 in livers from different animals. This radioimmunoassay detected large elevations in the levels of these cytochromes P-450 in the livers of 3-methylcholanthrene-treated rats and C57BL/6 mice compared with untreated rats, 3-methylcholanthrene-treated DBA/2 mice or guinea pigs. The two complementary radioimmunoassay methods are sensitive, efficient, and easily applicable for screening large number of tissue samples for MAb-defined cytochrome P-450 phenotype.  相似文献

Evidence is presented to indicate a metabolic relationship between arachidonic acid activation and its transfer to lysophospholipds by brain microsomes. Thus, in the presence of 1-acylglycerophosphocholines or 1-acyl-glycerophosphoinositols, the activation of labeled arachidonate to its acyl-CoA was enhanced, and the acyl-CoA formed was, in turn, transferred to the lysophospholipids to form the respective diacyl-glycerophospholipids. The coupling effect seems to pertain mainly to the lysophospholipids which are good substrates of the acyltransferase. Other lyso-compounds were either not effective or inhibitory to the arachidonate activation process. The activation-transfer activity mediated by the fatty acid ligase and acyltransferase could be dissociated by Triton X-100, which apparently stimulated the acyl-CoA ligase activity but inhibited the acyltransferase. These results suggest that fatty acid ligase and acyltransferase are located in close proximity within the membrane domain. The existence of a close metabolic relationship between these two enzymic reactions is important for maintaining a dynamic equilibrium between the free fatty acids and the membrane phospholipids. The mechanism is also useful in regulating the cellular acyl-CoA and lysophospholipid metabolism, because both compounds have membrane perturbing properties when present in excessive quantity.  相似文献

Sister chromatid exchanges (SCE) were analyzed in peripheral blood lymphocytes from a select group of 71 healthy men, 56 nonsmokers and 15 cigarette smokers. In addition to estimating baseline SCE, data were examined to seek relationships of SCE frequencies to age and smoking. The baseline value of 7.53 SCE per cell from the 56 nonsmokers was within the range (5.60 to 9.10 SCE/cell) reported for other human populations. No relationship was found between the mean SCE frequency per cell and age. However, a significant increase in the SCE mean value was observed in smokers as compared to nonsmokers. Proteins have been immobilized in porous support particles held in a fixed-bed reactor through which protein solution is continuously circulated. Changing the recirculation flow rate alters the observed immobilization kinetics and the maximum enzyme loading which can be achieved for glucose oxidase and glucoamylase on carbodiimide-treated activated carbon and for glucoamylase immobilized on CNBr-Sepharose 4B. Direct microscopic examination of FITC-labelled protein in sectioned Sepharose particles and indirect activity-loading studies with activated carbon-enzyme conjugates all indicate that immobilized enzyme is increasingly localized near the outer surface of the support particles at larger recirculation flow rates. Restricted diffusion of enzymes may be implicated in this phenomenon. These contacting effects may be significant considerations in the scaleup of processes for protein impregnation in porous supports, since apparent activity and stability of the final preparation depend on internal protein distribution.  相似文献
