Classical enterobacterial strains are sensitive to the working concentrations of pervomur, dioxydine, resorcinol, sodium sulfacyl, iodopyrone, chlorhexidine and boric acid, resistant to the action of cetyplyridinium chloride, rivanol, roccal and ethonium. In enterobacterial populations strains with acquired resistance to chloramine B, iodopyrone, chlorhexidine and resorcinol are present. Hospital strains of enterobacteria are characterized by higher, in comparison with extrahospital strains, resistance to ethonium, sodium sulfacyl, lodopyrone, chloramine B and resorcinol.  相似文献

Using the cDNA of bovine lung prostaglandin F synthase (EC 1.1.1.2) as a probe, we isolated a clone from a bovine liver cDNA library which differed in only eleven nucleotides from the probe. The corresponding protein contained three amino acid substitutions, including a leucine residue which is conserved throughout all aldo-keto reductases. We inserted the liver cDNA into expression vector pUC19 and expressed the recombinant liver enzyme in E.coli. The purified liver enzyme reduced prostaglandin H2 as well as prostaglandin D2 and various carbonyl compounds. The high relative activity against prostaglandin H2 in combination with a high Km value for prostaglandin D2 identified this liver enzyme as a lung type prostaglandin F synthase. However, the binding constant for NADPH of the liver enzyme was 3.5 fold higher than that of lung prostaglandin F synthase.  相似文献

Some P-450 systems, notably aromatase and 14-demethylase catalyse not only the hydroxylate reaction but also the oxidation of an alcohol into a carbonyl compound as well as a C---C bond cleavage process. All these reactions occur at the same active site. A somewhat analogous situation is noted with 17-hydroxylase-17,20-lyase that participates in hydroxylation as well as C---C bond cleavage process. The C---C bond cleavage reactions catalysed by the above enzymes conform to the general equation:

It is argued that all three types of reaction catalyzed by these enzymes may be viewed as variations on a common theme. In P-450 dependent hydroxylation the initially formed FeIII---O---O. species is converted into FeIII---O---OH and the heterolysis of the oxygen—oxygen bond of the latter then gives the oxo-derivative for which a number of canonical structures are possible; for example FeV = O ↔ (+.)FeIV = O ↔ FeIV---O.. One of these, FeIV---O. behaves like an alkoxyl radical and participates in hydrogen abstraction from C---H bond to produce FeIV---OH and carbon radical. The latter is then quenched by the delivery of hydroxyl radical from FeIV---OH. The latter species may thus be regarded as a carrier of hydroxyl radical. We have proposed that the C---C bond cleavage reaction occurs through the participation of the FeIII---O---OH species that is trapped by the electrophilic property of the carbonyl compound giving a peroxide adduct that fragments to produce an acyl—carbon cleavage. Scientific developments leading up to this conclusion are considered. In the first author's views,

Seminal emission and sperm expulsion are under the control of both the sympathetic and parasympathetic outflows and also of the somatic innervation conveyed by the pudendal nerve. The 2 phases of ejaculation are reflexive with the reflexes handled at the thoraco-lumbar and sacral levels of the spinal cord. Such a spinal organization remains widely unknown. The role of various peripheral neurotransmitters has been evidenced including norepinephrine and acetylcholine and also peptidergic, purinergic i.e. ATP and nitric oxide. Stimulation of the seminal tract afferents play a crucial in the onset of ejaculatory mechanisms. Except for the dorsal nerve of the penis, there is a lack of information concerning these afferents. Several supraspinal centers i.e. hypothalamus, medial amygdala, pons and nucleus paragigantocellularis exert descending and ascending inhibitory and excitatory influences on spinal nuclei controlling emission and expulsion of sperm. Central neurotransmission responsible for this supraspinal control could involve serotonin, oxytocin and norepinephrine. In the light of the available anatomical and neurophysiological data, pathophysiological aspects of ejaculatory disorders are futher discussed. Premature ejaculation could be related to a periheral and central hypersentivity. Most of the other ejaculation abnormalities are likely mainly related to an impairment of the central mechanisms.  相似文献

Experiments on cyanobacterial cultures showed that initial exposure to copper at concentrations of 0.01–0.05 mg/l not only has a direct toxic effect, but also significantly modifies the copper tolerance of cyanobacteria for repeated exposure. The response to repeated exposure and the mechanism of tolerance depend on the strength of the initial effect of copper and the extent of heterogeneity of the initial cyanobacterial population.  相似文献

Different types of cytogenetic anomalies used in classical cytogenetics for estimating the level of damage to the chromosome apparatus are considered. Possible causes for the occurrence of different types of cytogenetic anomalies as well as the range of methods of micronucleus testing are discussed. It is shown that different levels of organization of genetic material (nucleotide, chromosome, or suprachromosome material) have an effect on processes involved in realization of a defect in the nucleotide sequence into a cytogenetic anomaly.  相似文献

In acute experiments on 21 cats it was proved that the change of afferent impulse on vagus nerves by means of either freeze-block or electrostimulation of their central ends results in differential reflex influences on rhythm and force of the cardiac contractions caused by sympathetic nervous system. The cut of the lower cardiac nerves may cause 'break-up' of the observed reflex, removing or inverting its ino- or chronotropy component. The given phenomenon was revealed in the experiments with high arterial pressure and with absence of tonic chronotropy influences of the left lower cardiac nerve.  相似文献
