Expression of some genes in the brain of ascitic hepatoma of Zajdela bearing rats was compared with that of control animals using Northern blot hybridization technique. Structures of the complexes (η3-C3H5)Pd(μ-η6:1-CH2PhCr(CO)3 and (η3-C3H5)Pd[μ-η6:1-CH(Ph)Ph]Cr(CO)3 in solution were evaluated by NMR (1H and 13C) and IR spectroscopy. The dynamic behaviour of the complexes was investigated. Quick rotation (on the NMR time scale) of the tricarbonylchromium groups around the axis passing through the centre of the η6-coordinated phenyl ring and the chromium atom takes place at room temperature and becomes slow on cooling. The η3-allylic ligand was proved to undergo no dynamic changes in solution. Unlike the solid state, the semi-bridging carbonyl groups between chromium and palladium atoms are absent or very weak in solution. Cross-coupling reactions of the complexes with organohalides are described.  相似文献

The physical regularities that lead to isotope fractionation and to the accumulation of certain isotope forms in the intercellular and intracellular space at various levels of biological objects were studied. A new hypothesis of fractionation of stable isotopes in biological objects through the neutron effect was discussed. The following feature is noted: it is very likely that the development of isotope shock in living beings is observed mainly in the presence of covalent bonds between atoms with an uncompensated neutron. One possible explanation for this phenomenon can be associated with a change in the physical parameters of the following events: the interactions of the magnetic moments of valence electrons with the magnetic moments of atomic nuclei and the interactions of magnetic moments of atomic nuclei, which result in a change in the distance between atomic nuclei.

We describe a technique of rapid (within 1-2 h) transfer of DNA and RNA from agarose gels to nitrocellulose or nylon membrane filters. It is characterized by nearly complete elimination of mechanical action on the gel (a thin layer of liquid is placed over the gel and, filtering through the gel into a stack of paper towels beneath, it transfers nucleic acids onto the filter under the gel). This "descending" transfer, as opposed to the widely used "ascending" Southern transfer, reduces the transfer time (to about 1 h) with equal or higher quality of the hybridization signal. The comparison of transfer kinetics by the both methods shows that (a) the Southern transfer of large size DNA fragments proceeds quicker than it has been thought so far and is almost complete within 4 h; (b) the descending transfer has an advantage over the ascending one in the rate of transfer (1-2 h) and its efficiency; and (c) the time of transfer may become a critical parameter upon using a filter with an apparently low retention capacity (Hybond N, Amersham) that is manifested by a decreased signal at longer than optimal transfer times.  相似文献

The turbulent properties of conducting fluids in an external constant magnetic field are known to change with increasing field strength. A study is made of the behavior of the second-order structural function of the velocity field in a homogeneous incompressible turbulent fluid in the presence of an external uniform magnetic field. It is shown that, depending on the magnetic field strength, there may be different governing parameters of the system in both the inertial and dissipative intervals of turbulence. This leads to new spectral scalings that are consistent with experimental ones.  相似文献

The variation in polymorphic DNA (RAPD and minisatellite) and protein markers was compared for nine Russian chicken breeds differing in morphological and productivity types and in origin, three European egg breeds, and three meat breeds of the Asian origin. Genetic diversity indices were calculated for each breed group and each marker type and were used to construct dendrograms of genetic similarity. In all breed groups, minisatellites and RAPD markers revealed higher genetic diversity as compared with protein markers. With any type of markers, genetic diversity of the Russian and Asian meat breeds proved to be significantly higher than that of the European egg breeds. The differentiating potentialities of molecular and genetic biochemical markers at the breed level and the origin of the Russian chicken breeds are discussed.  相似文献

Climate warming is expected to enhance productivity and growth of woody plants, particularly in temperature‐limited environments at the northernmost or uppermost limits of their distribution. However, this warming is spatially uneven and temporally variable, and the rise in temperatures differently affects biomes and growth forms. Here, applying a dendroecological approach with generalized additive mixed models, we analysed how the growth of shrubby junipers and coexisting trees (larch and pine species) responds to rising temperatures along a 5000‐km latitudinal range including sites from the Polar, Alpine to the Mediterranean biomes. We hypothesize that, being more coupled to ground microclimate, junipers will be less influenced by atmospheric conditions and will less respond to the post‐1950 climate warming than coexisting standing trees. Unexpectedly, shrub and tree growth forms revealed divergent growth trends in all the three biomes, with juniper performing better than trees at Mediterranean than at Polar and Alpine sites. The post‐1980s decline of tree growth in Mediterranean sites might be induced by drought stress amplified by climate warming and did not affect junipers. We conclude that different but coexisting long‐living growth forms can respond differently to the same climate factor and that, even in temperature‐limited area, other drivers like the duration of snow cover might locally play a fundamental role on woody plants growth across Europe.  相似文献
