目的:探讨烟龄215年,日吸烟量≥15支的无症状男性吸烟者的肺功能改变情况。方法:选择男性无症状吸烟者190人及非吸烟者180人,进行肺功能测定,并比较两组人群的肺功能改变情况。结果:吸烟组与非吸烟组比较,肺活量(VC)、用力肺活量(FVC)、第1秒用力呼气容积(FEV1)、Tiffeneau1秒率(FEV1/VC)结果改变不明显,而Gaensler1秒率(FEV1/FVC)、最大分钟通气量(MVV)、用力呼气50%肺活量的呼气流量(FEF50%)、用力呼气75%肺活量的呼气流量(FEF75%)、呼出25%-75%肺活量时的平均流量(FEF25%~75%)、肺一氧化碳弥散量(DLCO)结果均有显著降低,有统计学意义。结论:通过对无症状吸烟人群肺功能测定结果进行分析。发现有些吸烟者虽无临床症状,但已经出现了小气道及肺弥散功能的损伤,提醒吸烟者应早期戒烟,关爱自身健康,净化生存环境,提高生活质量。  相似文献

Abstract

The pathogenicity of nine isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum (Fov) was evaluated on seedlings of 30 cotton (Gossypium barbadense L.) genotypes in 2005 and 2006. Isolate×genotype interaction was a highly significant (P < 0.01) source of variation in wilt incidence, suggesting that physiologic specialization exists within Fov isolates. Cluster analysis of aggressiveness of isolates and susceptibility of genotypes by the unweighted pair-group method based on arithmetic means (UPGMA) placed the isolates and the genotypes in several groups. Isolates were separated into two distinct groups. One group was closely related to race 5 while the other group was closely related to race 1. Cluster analysis also demonstrated that the Egyptian commercial cultivars had unique susceptibility patterns to Fov isolates remotely related to those of the other genotypes. The interaction between experiments of 2005 and 2006 was mainly due to a differential effect of years on the disease incidence for cotton cultivars.  相似文献

Six essential oils were evaluated as to their efficiency in controlling powdery mildew (PM) of flax when they were applied as foliar sprays in an outdoor pot experiment. Onion, flax and fenugreek oils did not affect PM severity ratings – that is, they were ineffective in controlling the disease. On the other hand, black cumin, jojoba and coriander oil showed variable levels of efficiency in controlling the disease. Black cumin was moderately effective in controlling the disease because it reduced disease severity by 32.87%, while jojoba and coriander oils were highly effective as they reduced disease severity by 66.24 and 68.64%, respectively. Essential oils did not affect seed weight; however, coriander oil was a notable exception as it reduced seed weight by 55%. Straw weight was not affected by any oil. Foliar application of essential oils resulted in significant changes in the levels of protein, phenols, ascorbic acid and malondialdehyde and in activities of peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase. The lack of significant correlation between levels and activities of these biochemical components and PM severity demonstrate that these components are not involved in the suppression of PM by essential oils. Therefore, direct toxicity of essential oils to the causal pathogen Oidium lini is the most likely explanation for the disease suppression.  相似文献

A high potassium concentration in culture media is considered detrimental to in vitro culture of mouse embryos. Here we show that pig zygotic medium (PZM) containing a higher concentration of potassium, and modified to contain 0.2 mM glucose and 0.01 mM EDTA, supported efficient pre- and post-implantation development of mouse zygotes to blastocysts and live pups, respectively. At first, modified PZM (mPZM) was compared with other culture media such as M16, CZB and KSOM-AA for its ability to support development of in vivo mouse zygotes to the blastocyst stage. The proportions of zygotes reaching 2-cell (94-99%) and blastocyst (90-96%) stages in mPZM and other media were not different. However, hatching rates of blastocysts were different (P < 0.05); whereas more than 90% of the blastocysts were hatching in mPZM or KSOM-AA, only 60% of the blastocysts did in M16 or CZB media (P < 0.05). Next we compared post-implantation development of in vitro fertilized zygotes developed to blastocysts in mPZM and KSOM-AA. The proportion of blastocysts developing into live pups was not different between mPZM (49%) and KSOM-AA (44%). Finally, we evaluated whether mPZM could be also used as a fertilization medium. Modified PZM containing 5.56 mM of glucose and 0.4% BSA efficiently supported IVF of mouse gametes. The percent of zygotes cleaving to 2-cell (94-98%) and blastocysts (91-93%) stage was not different from zygotes fertilized in human tubal fluid medium. We concluded that modified pig zygotic medium containing a higher potassium concentration than any other commonly used mouse media supported not only culture of mouse embryos, but also efficient IVF of mouse gametes.  相似文献

Egyptian winter Berseem clover (EWBC) is one of the main important forage legume crops in Egypt that is used for animal feeding in winter and it occupies about 2.5 million feddans (Feddan = 4200 m2) in winter agricultural rotation systems. Forty-eight rhizobial isolates that nodulated this legume host from different geographical regions within Egypt were isolated. RFLP analyses of 16S rDNA (1.5 kb) and whole ribosomal DNA (5 kb), the sequencing of 16S rDNA, and the sequencing of nodC, nifH and house keeping genes were used to identify these isolates. The RFLP analysis of 16S rDNA (1.5 kb) among 15 representative strains with three enzymes generated two genotypes. The largest genotype was similar to Rhizobium etli CFN42T (93.33%) except for strain 902 that failed to re-nodulate EWBC. RFLP analysis of complete ribosomal DNA (5 kb) produced five genotypes. The majority of tested strains shared the genotype with R. etli CFN42T (53.33%). Only one strain (1002) shared the genotype with Rhizobium leguminosarum sv. trifolii 3023. The other four strains were comprised of two unique genotypes. Phylogenetic analysis of 16S rDNA sequences revealed that seven representative strains could be divided into two genetic clusters sharing the ancestral clad with R. etli CFN42T. A phylogenetic tree based on nodC gene sequence confirmed that all the examined strains shared the genetic lineage with R. leguminosarum sv. trifolii WSM1325. The phylogenetic trees of house keeping genes are supported strongly the identification of majority of strains as a novel symbiovar of R. etli with new lineages.  相似文献

Cryopreservation of immature oocytes at germinal vesicle (GV) stage would provide a readily available source of oocytes for use in research and allow experiments to be performed irrespective of seasonality or other constraints. This study was designed to evaluate the recovery, viability, maturation status, fertilization events and subsequent development of ovine oocytes vitrified at GV stage using solid surface vitrification (SSV). Cumulus oocyte complexes (COCs) obtained from mature ewes were randomly divided into three groups (1) SSV (oocytes were vitrified using SSV), (2) EXP (oocytes were exposed to vitrification and warming solutions without vitrification) or (3) Untreated (control). Following vitrification and warming, viable oocytes were matured in vitro for 24h. After that, nuclear maturation was evaluated using orcein staining. Matured oocytes were fertilized and cultured in vitro for 7days. Following SSV, 75.7% 143/189 oocytes were recovered. Of those oocytes recovered 74.8%, 107/143 were morphologically normal (viable). Frequencies of in vitro maturation were significantly (P<0.01) decreased in SSV and EXP groups as compared to control. In vitro fertilization rates were significantly (P<0.01) decreased in SSV (39.3%) group as compared to EXP (56.4%) and control (64.7%) groups. Cleavage at 48h post insemination (pi) and development to the blastocyst stage on day 7 pi were significantly (P<0.001) decreased in SSV oocytes as compared to EXP and control groups. In conclusion, immature ovine oocytes vitrified using SSV as a simple and rapid procedure can survive and subsequently be matured, fertilized and cultured in vitro up to the blastocyst stage, although the frequency of development is low.  相似文献

The goal of this work is to optimize production of bio-ethanol by fermentation through regulating yeast growth energy (YGE), and provide the mechanism of ethanol production from food-waste leachate (FWL) using yeast (S. cerevisiae) as inoculums to be predictable and controllable. The wide range of reduced sugar concentration (RSC) which is commonly administered from low (35 g per liter) to very high (100 g per liter) is responsible for costs increasing besides risks of FWL contamination and death of yeast cells. A mathematical model is presented to describe yeast growth energy (YGE) due to RSC doses along with predicting the amounts of ethanol yield by each dose to identify the optimum one. Simulations of the presented model showed that YGE, energy intake (EI), and their produced ethanol energy (PEE) are always balanced during fermentation process according to the law of conservation of energy. For a better fermentation rate in a continuous process and a large-scale production; YGE should be less than half of EI and more than its quarter (i.e. $ \frac{ 1}{ 4}{\text{EI}} \le {\text{YGE}} \le \frac{1}{2}{\text{EI}} $ ) which keeps the residual energy less than YGE to avoid risks of osmotic stresses or aging of cells allowing the survival of all yeast cells as long as possible to maximize ethanol production and decrease productivity costs.  相似文献
