RFLP mapping of QTLs for yield and related characters in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

Quantitative triat loci (QTLs) for yield and related traits in rice were mapped based on RFLP maps from two indica/indica F₂ populations, Tesanai 2/CB and Waiyin 2/CB. In Tesanai 2/CB, 14 intervals carrying QTLs for eight traits were detected, including 3 for grain weight per plant (GWT), 2 for number of panicles per plant (NP), 2 for number of grains per panicle (NG), 1 for total number of spikelets per panicle (TNS), 1 for spikelet fertility (SF), 3 for 1000-grain weight (TGWT), 1 for spikelet density (SD), and 1 for number of first branches per main panicle. The 3 QTLs for GWT were located on chromosomes 1, 2, and 4, with 1 in each chromosome. The additive effect of the single locus ranged from 2.0 g to 9.1 g. A major gene (np4) for NP was detected on chromosome 4 within the interval of RG143–RG214, about 4cM for RG143, and this locus explained 26.1% of the observed phenotypic variance for NP. The paternal allele of this locus was responsible for reduced panicles per plant (3 panicles per plant). In another population, Waiyin 2/CB, 12 intervals containing QTLs for six of the above-mentioned traits were detected, including 3 for GWT, 2 for each of NP, TNS, TGWT and SD, 1 for SF. Three QTLs for GWT were located on chromosome 1, 4, and 5, respectively. The additive effect of the single locus for GWT ranged from 6.7 g to 8.8 g, while the dominance effect was 1.7–11.5 g. QTL mapping in two populations with a common male parent is compared and discussed.     

Site-specific integration of the phage ΦCTX genome into the Pseudomonas aeruginosa chromosome: characterization of the functional integrase gene located close to and upstream of attP

The site-specific integration of the phage ?CTX genome, which carries the gene for a pore-forming cytotoxin, into the Pseudomonas aeruginosa chromosome was analysed. The 1,167 by integrase gene, int, located immediately upstream of the attachment site, attP, was characterized using plasmid constructs, harbouring the integration functions, and serving as an integration probe in both P. aeruginosa and Escherichia coli. The attP plasmids p1000/p400 in the presence of the int plasmid pIBH and attP-int plasmids pINT/pINTS can be stably integrated into the P. aeruginosa chromosome. Successful recombination between the attP plasmid p1000 and the attB plasmid p5.1, in the presence of the int plasmid pIBH in E. coli HB101 showed that the int gene is active in trans in E. coli. The int gene product was detected as a 43 kDa protein in E. coli maxicells harbouring pINT. Proposed integration arm regions downstream of attP are not necessary for the integration process. pINT and phage ?CTX could be integrated together into P. aeruginosa chromosomal DNA, yielding double integrates.

中药903口服液长期毒性实验研究

中药９０３口服液经药效学研究,表明该制剂具有良好的扶植正常菌群,调整微生态平衡,提高机体免疫能力的作用。对中药９０３口服液进行长期毒性实验研究结果证实,三种不同剂量组大白鼠给药前后的体重,血常规,主要脏器重量,肝、肾功能均无显著性差异。对４０例大鼠１１种脏器病理检查均未见药物损伤性病变。     

外源酚对凤眼莲体内酚含量和与酚代谢有关酶的影响

凤眼莲能够吸收和在体内聚集外源苯酚,体内的酸含量随着环境中酚浓度的上升而上升。从生长于合酚培养液中的凤眼莲体内能够检测到酚糖苷,说明凤眼莲体内有酚精苷转移酶的存在。浓度小于５０ｍｇ／Ｌ的外源酚能提高凤眼莲体内的多酚氧化酶和过氧化物酶的活性。多酚氯化酶与过氧化物酶在线粒体和微粒体中均有不同程度的分布,而酚糖苷转移酶则不存在于这些细胞器中。     

Production of panose from maltose by intact cells of Aureobasidium pullulans

Panose, a major component of isomalto-oligosaccharides, was selectively produced from maltose using transglucosylation reaction catalyzed by intact cells of Aureobasidium pullulans. When 50 %(w/v) maltose was used as a substrate, the maximum concentration of panose accumulated in the final reaction mixture was about 50 %(w/w) after 120 hr reaction at 55 °C.     

水库对投饵网箱养鱼的负荷力

本文用１８个１４．３ｍ￣３的围隔组成的围隔群,以鲤为材料,研究了水库对投饵网箱养鱼的负荷力。实验中观测了水温、透明度、ｐＨ值、溶氧、化学耗氧量、生化需氧量与非离子氨等环境因素的变化。结束时将这些变化与我国渔业水质标准相比较,查明该负荷力约为３０００ｋｇ·ｈａ￣（－１）,建议增加２５－３５％的安全储备,以最大载鱼量１８００－２３００ｋｇ·ｈａ￣（－１）作为推荐值。     

祁连山地区植被特征及其分布规律

分析和讨论了祁连山地区主要植被类型及其分布特征。祁连山地区随着青藏高原的强烈隆升表现为整体抬升,植被具有明显的生态地理边缘效应特征和高原地带性规律。该区植被虽然受到四周的较大影响,但各类高寒植被占有绝对优势,表现出与青藏高原植被整体明显的相似性和广泛的一致性。另一方面,本区植被也有其特殊性及与高原面存在一些差异。因此,建议把祁连山地区做为青藏高原植被区的次一级独立单元
