Studies were performed in the years 1986-1990 and dealing with 405 clinical materials originating from infections within the abdominal cavity, maxilla, reproductive organ, post-operative wounds as well as dressings, extremities, blood, bile and other types of material and usefulness of analysis by gas chromatography of presence of lower fatty acids in materials for rapid and preliminary diagnostics with strictly anaerobic bacteria was confirmed. Presence in chromatograms of isobutyric, butyric isovaleric, valeric, isocaproic and caproic acid, and partly of propionic acid, is a good indication of infection with strictly anaerobic bacteria. Moreover, presence of succinic acid may suggest presence of anaerobic infection, similarly as presence in chromatograms of three or more various lower fatty acids. Rapid, approximative diagnosis of anaerobic bacteria by application of gas chromatography is worth of broader application. Investigation of clinical material by this method lasts only 1-2 hours and obtained results my present a basis for preliminary diagnosis of the etiological factor and for direction of chemotherapy, which is very important in most early period of treatment of infections. 相似文献

A case of acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML) with spastic paralysis of the lower extremities caused by a tumor of the spinal cord as the first symptoms of the disease is presented. The tumor consisted of leukaemic cells. A diagnosis of AML type M2, according to FAB classification, was established. A complete remission was achieved after 2 courses of chemotherapy. Patient started to walk after intensive rehabilitation. After 14 months of complete remission, recurrence was observed despite an intensified therapy. 相似文献

It has been shown that extracellular proteinases synthesized by a keratinolytic strain of S. fradiae are characterized by diversified activity in the decomposition of both proteins and synthetic substrates. Among the six proteinases isolated, apart from the ones dominating and having relatively low specificity, there are two enzymes characterized by narrow catalytic abilities--extremely similar to those of trypsin. These proteinases intensively degraded all the trypsin substrates studied, but they were inactive or showed slight activity toward others. The Indian Ocean is the least known ocean in the world with the biogeography of marine species in the West Indian Ocean (WIO) understudied. The hydrography of WIO is characterized by four distinct oceanographic systems and there were few glacial refugia formations in the WIO during the Pleistocene. We used the widely distributed intertidal barnacle Tetraclita to test the hypothesis that the distribution and connectivity of intertidal animals in the WIO are determined by the major oceanographic regime but less influenced by historical events such as Pleistocene glaciations. Tetraclita were studied from 32 locations in the WIO. The diversity and distribution of Tetraclita species in the Indian Ocean were examined based on morphological examination and sequence divergence of two mitochondrial genes (12S rDNA and COI) and one nuclear gene (histone 3, H3). Divergence in DNA sequences revealed the presence of seven evolutionarily significant units (ESUs) of Tetraclita in WIO, with most of them recognized as valid species. The distribution of these ESUs is closely tied to the major oceanographic circulation systems. T. rufotincta is distributed in the Monsoonal Gyre. T. ehsani is present in the Gulf of Oman and NW India. Tetraclita sp. nov. is associated with the Hydrochemical Front at 10°S latitude. T. reni is confined to southern Madagascan and Mauritian waters, influenced by the West Wind Drift. The endemic T. achituvi is restricted to the Red Sea. Tetraclita serrata consists of two ESUs (based on mtDNA analysis) along the east to west coast of South Africa. The two ESUs could not be distinguished from morphological analysis and nuclear H3 sequences. Our results support that intertidal species in the West Indian Ocean are associated with each of the major oceanographic circulation systems which determine gene flow. Geographical distribution is, however, less influenced by the geological history of the region. 相似文献

The localization of immunoglobulins G, A and M in glial cells of neoplastic and reactive origin have been investigated by the use of the PAP (peroxidase-antiperoxidase) method on paraffin embedded tissue previously fixed in calcium formol. It has been found, that some glial cells of astrocyte type showed a very intense staining when oligoclonal antibodies to human immunoglobulins G, A and M specific for gamma, alpha, and mu chains were used. The localization of immunoglobulins was disclosed in astrocytes of various morphology; astrocytes with well developed processes, gemistocyte type cells without or only with short and thick cell processes and in small cells with scanty cytoplasm. The number of cells with immunoglobulins localized is very small. No positive results have been noted if the normal brain tissue is concerned. The specificity of the method is discussed. 相似文献

Perovskite‐organic tandem solar cells are attracting more attention due to their potential for highly efficient and flexible photovoltaic device. In this work, efficient perovskite‐organic monolithic tandem solar cells integrating the wide bandgap perovskite (1.74 eV) and low bandgap organic active PBDB‐T:SN6IC‐4F (1.30 eV) layer, which serve as the top and bottom subcell, respectively, are developed. The resulting perovskite‐organic tandem solar cells with passivated wide‐bandgap perovskite show a remarkable power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 15.13%, with an open‐circuit voltage (Voc) of 1.85 V, a short‐circuit photocurrent (Jsc) of 11.52 mA cm?2, and a fill factor (FF) of 70.98%. Thanks to the advantages of low temperature fabrication processes and the flexibility properties of the device, a flexible tandem solar cell which obtain a PCE of 13.61%, with Voc of 1.80 V, Jsc of 11.07 mA cm?2, and FF of 68.31% is fabricated. Moreover, to demonstrate the achieved high Voc in the tandem solar cells for potential applications, a photovoltaic (PV)‐driven electrolysis system combing the tandem solar cell and water splitting electrocatalysis is assembled. The integrated device demonstrates a solar‐to‐hydrogen efficiency of 12.30% and 11.21% for rigid, and flexible perovskite‐organic tandem solar cell based PV‐driven electrolysis systems, respectively. 相似文献
