In order to correlate and compare the antigenic relationships observed between nine yeast strains, we have studied their major antigenic determinant represented by the mannans. This material is a constituent of their cell.The compounds that we have isolated are, in reality, glycopeptides. All their polysaccharide fractions consist of mannose only — except for those of the compounds that we have isolated of R. glutinis and C. lipolytica. All these polysaccharides have very close ramified structures; the only one that seems to be very different is that of R. glutinis, and this is in agreement with the antigenic properties of that yeast.The peptidic fractions of these glycopeptides are rich in threonine, serine and aspartic acid and it is very likely that these amino acids make the link with the polysaccharide fraction. The quantity of these amino acids seem to be affected by the conditions of culture of the yeasts, but not their presence or absence.  相似文献

Wang的种类近缘, 但叶均为单叶, 萼片呈卵形或宽卵形而不同。在单性铁线莲亚组的种, 叶通常为复叶, 只在C. dimorphophylla W. T. Wang和C. variifolia W. T. Wang同时为单叶和复叶, 此外萼片呈长圆形、倒披针形或狭卵形。  相似文献

Like all parasitic protozoa, the human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum lacks the enzymes required for de novo synthesis of purines and it is therefore reliant upon the salvage of these compounds from the external environment. P. falciparum equilibrative nucleoside transporter 1 (PfENT1) is a nucleoside transporter that has been localized to the plasma membrane of the intraerythrocytic form of the parasite. In this study we have characterized the transport of purine and pyrimidine nucleosides across the plasma membrane of 'isolated' trophozoite-stage P. falciparum parasites and compared the transport characteristics of the parasite with those of PfENT1 expressed in Xenopus oocytes. The transport of nucleosides into the parasite: (i) was, in the case of adenosine, inosine and thymidine, very fast, equilibrating within a few seconds; (ii) was of low affinity [K(m) (adenosine) = 1.45 +/- 0.25 mM; K(m) (thymidine) = 1.11 +/- 0.09 mM]; and (iii) showed 'cross-competition' for adenosine, inosine and thymidine, but not cytidine. The kinetic characteristics of nucleoside transport in intact parasites matched very closely those of PfENT1 expressed in Xenopus oocytes [K(m) (adenosine) = 1.86 +/- 0.28 mM; K(m) (thymidine) = 1.33 +/- 0.17 mM]. Furthermore, PfENT1 transported adenosine, inosine and thymidine, with a cross-competition profile the same as that seen for isolated parasites. The data are consistent with PfENT1 serving as a major route for the uptake of nucleosides across the parasite plasma membrane.  相似文献

The characteristic aroma compounds of Citrus natsudaidai Hayata essential oil were evaluated by a combination of instrumental and sensory methods. Sixty compounds were identified and quantified, accounting for 94.08% of the total peel oil constituents. Limonene was the most abundant compound (80.68%), followed by gamma-terpinene (5.30%), myrcene (2.25%) and alpha-pinene (1.30%). Nineteen compounds which could not be identified in the original oil were identified in the oxygenated fraction. Myrcene, linalool, alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, limonene, nonanal, gamma-terpinene, germacrene D, and perillyl alcohol were the active aroma components (FD-factor > 3(6)), whereas beta-copaene, cis-sabinene hydrate and 1-octanol were suggested as characteristic aroma compounds, having a Natsudaidai-like aroma in the GC effluent. Three other compounds, heptyl acetate, (E)-limonene oxide and 2,3-butanediol, which each showed a high RFA value (>35) were considered to be important in the reconstruction of the original Natsudaidai oil from pure odor chemicals. The results indicate that 1-octanol was the aroma impact compound of C. natsudaidai Hayata peel oil.  相似文献
