珍稀鹤类巢址的空间聚类识别方法

依据2003年到2005年松嫩平原西部地区珍稀鹤类巢址调查数据,利用三种不同类型的指数进行分析研究:(1)拓扑指数,Voronoi图面积;(2)统计指数,Morishita指数;(3)空间指数,分维数.结果表明珍稀鹤类巢址空间格局具有明显的空间聚类分布,这三个指数使我们对珍稀鹤类巢址的聚类现象有了定量的认识,加深对自然保护区资源保护的重要性.     

A Simple Method for Preparation of 18α-Glycyrrhetinic Acid and Its Derivatives

Treatment of 18-glycyrrhizic acid with a methanolic solution of HCl resulted in 1 : 1 mixture of methyl esters of 18- and 18-glycyrrhetinic acids. Benzoylation of the mixture led to methyl esters of 3-benzoyl-18-glycyrrhetinic acid and 3-benzoyl-18-glycyrrhetinic acid, which were separated by chromatography on silica gel. 18-Glycyrrhetinic acid was prepared by alkaline hydrolysis of methyl 3-benzoyl-18-glycyrrhetinate and was further used for the syntheses of 3-keto-18-glycyrrhetinic acid and methyl esters of 18-glycyrrhetinic acid and 3-keto-18-glycyrrhetinic acid.     

Effect of EGF on the intracellular distribution of heat-shock proteins in A431 cells

The intracellular distribution of hsp70 and hdj1 was studied using immunofluorescent method. In nonstimulated cells hsp70 and hdj1 were observed in the cytoplasm of A431 cells. When 100 ng/ml EGF was added for 15 min, both hsp70 and hdj1 were accumulated in the nuclei. Later on (up to 1 h) hsp70 was exported from the nuclei to be observed mainly in the cytoplasm, whereas hdj1 remained in the nuclei. In cells exposed to tyrphostin AG1478, this inhibitor of tyrosine kinase activity of EGF receptor prevented EGF-dependent accumulation of hsp70 and hdj1 in the nuclei. U73122, an inhibitor of phospholipase C activity, induced tyrosine phosphorylation of EGF receptor without EGF stimulation. In cells treated with U73122, both hsp70 and hdj1 were detected in the nuclei of non-stimulated cells. It is concluded that the intracellular distribution of heat shock proteins in A431 cells depends on tyrosine kinase activity of EGF receptor. Here we report for the first time the influence of EGF on the intracellular redistribution of heat shock proteins.     

Variations in soil properties upon artificial reforestation in Karelia

Analytic data on the status of Karelian soils at different stages of artificial reforestation (newly logged lands and 7-, 20-, and 40-year-old pine plantations) are discussed. Chemical (pH, saturation with bases, C_total, and N_total), biochemical (composition of carbohydrates), and microbiological (number of microorganisms of the most important ecological–trophic groups) soil properties have been investigated. It has been revealed that the forest litter is modified to the greatest rate after complete forest cutting. In soils formed under young 7-year-old pine plantations, organic-matter destruction becomes more intensive, and mortmass is transformed to a greater rate. The type and intensity of the input of plant debris to the soil vary with tree growth and affect the rate and tendency of organic-matter transformation. It is concluded that the studied soils are regenerated within a 40-year-long period after complete forest cutting.     

Characteristics of ribosomal RNA synthesis in the blood lymphocytes of chronic lympholeukemia patients

A study was made of the number of silver grains over the nucleoli and of the content of ribosomes in the lymphocyte cytoplasm for six healthy persons and for 20 patients with chronic lymphatic leukemia. Besides ratios of compact, nucleolonemic and ring types of nucleoli were evaluated in addition to counts of the specific radioactivity of mature 28S rRNA in lymphocytes. In the majority of cases examined, cells with 1 or 2 nucleoli of compact and nucleolonemic types were seen dominating. The number of silver grains over the nucleoli in the control healthy persons did not differ from that in patients who did not receive any treatment, which contrasted with high value grain counts in the treated patients. The lymphocyte ribosome contents varied within the normal and decreased values in both the patient groups. The specific radioactivity in 28S rRNA leukemic lymphocytes was significantly lower in groups of patients with low ribosome contents than in those with the normal ones. The data suggest that in the leukemic cells with a high or unaltered activity of ribosome cistrons and low ribosome levels rRNA processing is broken.     

Characterization of microsatellite DNA markers in a critically endangered species,Mekong giant catfish,Pangasianodon gigas

Microsatellite DNA markers for a critically endangered Mekong giant catfish (Pangasianodon gigas Roberts and Vidthayanon, 1991) were developed from fin clips collected from captive fish using (GT)₁₅ probe. The number of alleles per locus ranged from two to four. The expected heterozygosities ranged from 0.13 to 0.68. Also, these primers were successfully amplified in four closely related species, Pangasius bocourti, Pangasius conchophilus, Pangasius larnaudii and Pangasius sanitwongsei with the number of alleles per locus ranged from 1 to 13, 1 to 16, 1 to 12 and 1 to 4, respectively. These markers should prove to be very useful for the evaluation of genetic diversity for this species and other related Pangasius species.     

Cyclization of natural allene oxide in aprotic solvent: formation of the novel oxylipin methyl cis-12-oxo-10-phytoenoate

Allene oxide, (9Z,11E)-12,13-epoxy-9,11-octadecadienoic acid (12,13-EOD), was prepared by incubation of linoleic acid (13S)-hydroperoxide with flaxseed allene oxide synthase (AOS) and purified (as methyl ester) by low temperature HPLC. Identification of pure 12,13-EOD was substantiated by its UV and (1)H NMR spectra and by GC-MS data for its methanol trapping product. The methyl ester of 12,13-EOD (but not the free carboxylic acid) is slowly cyclized in hexane solution, affording a novel cyclopentenone cis-12-oxo-10-phytoenoic acid. Free carboxylic form of 12,13-EOD does not cyclize due to the exceeding formation of macrolactone (9Z)-12-oxo-9-octadecen-11-olide. The spontaneous cyclization of pure natural allene oxide (12,13-EOD) into cis-cyclopentenone have been observed first time.     

利用恒河婴猴模型对肠道病毒71型传播感染特征的生物学分析

本文在前期工作基础上,进一步对肠道病毒71型(EV71)从恒河婴猴的感染个体向其他未感染个体传播的可能性及相关生物学特性做了初步分析.通过喷雾形式经呼吸道感染1~2月龄恒河婴猴(A组);在观察临床症状同时,于感染后第7天,取该组动物粪便处理后,将上清液以喷雾形式经呼吸道感染新的婴猴个体(B组),随后对该次代感染个体进行...     

东北小鲵中枢神经系统形态学与组织学初步研究

本文应用脊椎动物神经标本制作法和HE染色法,对东北小鲵中枢神经系统的外部形态和组织学结构进行了初步研究,描述了东北小鲵神经系统形态和组织学结构的特点,并与无尾两栖类和爬行类相对比,探讨了有尾两栖类的进化地位。结果表明:与无尾两栖类(如蛙)相比,东北小鲵中枢神经系统中,大脑半球较小,结构较为原始,小脑结构简单,是两栖类中较为原始的类群。此外,东北小鲵开始具有了臂神经丛和骶神经丛,但没有爬行类的发达,可作为两栖类向爬行类进化的证据之一。
