More than 100 multi-component lures consisting of primary straight chain alkenols, their acetates and alkenals were prepared and tested as attractants of male lepidopterous insects. In field trials, male moths of 52 species were specifically attracted to two- or three-component lures. Further 35 lepidopterous species were found to be attracted to single component lures used as control. The main families captured by the multi-component lures were Tortricidae (24 species), Noctuidae (11 species) and Acrolepiidae (3 species). This successful attraction of so many species indicates the usefulness of systematic field tests using multi-component lures of selected synthetic chemicals. 相似文献

It was indicated from fluorescence spectra and fluorescence titration that a hydrophobic probe, 1-anilino-8-naphthalenesulfonate (ANS), binds to casein components (αs-, β- and κ-caseins). Fluorescence intensity and affinity of ANS-κ-casein complex were larger than that of ANS-αs- and ANS-β-casein complexes. Enhancements of fluorescence intensity of complexes of casein components were observed by the addition of KCI or CaCl2. Reason for the enhancement was postulated to be the increase of the quantum yield of the ANS fluorescence caused by the environmental change of ANS binding region of the casein components.Marked increase of sedimentation coefficient of β-casein in the presence of KCl or CaCl2 at 10°C was caused by the addition of ANS. This may be responsible for the stimulation of the Ca-dependent precipitation of β-casein by the addition of ANS.It was found that αs · κ-association was prevented by ANS and that hydrophobic interaction have an important role for αs · κ-association. 相似文献

Aspergillus niger (AKU 3302) degraded NAD to form Compound X. This compound was identified as nicotinamide ribose diphosphate ribose (NAmRDPR) by hydrolysis with alkaline or phosphodiesterase followed by chemical analysis of the products. NAmRDPR showed absorption maxima at 265~266 nm in 0.1 n HCI and 325 nm in 1.0 n KCN. Optimal pH for NAmRDPR formation by the enzyme preparation from this organism was around 4.0. Formation of NAmRDPR proceeded stoichiometrically with degradation of NAD. Some of other strains of A. niger formed NAmRDPR, but production of this compound was not demonstrated in other mold genera. 相似文献

It was indicated from ultraviolet difference spectra and ultracentrifugal experiments that associations occurred between two casein components (αs- and κ-caseins, β- and κ-caseins and αs- and β-caseins) at lower CaCl2 concentrations (2~3 mm) and that aromatic amino acid residues participated in the associations. Chemical modification studies with 2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzylbromide indicated that tryptophane residues of each casein component were not essential for these associations. It was also demonstrated by nitration of tyrosine residues with tetranitromethane that tyrosine residues of κ-casein were essential for αs·κ-association and for β·κ-association and that tyrosine residues of αs-casein were important to αs·β-association.Interactions between casein components were also studied at higher CaCl2 concentration (10 mm) which is enough for micelle formation. It was found that tyrosine residues of κ- casein played an important role for the stabilization of αs- and β-caseins. Properties of the nitrated-β-casein were almost the same as that of the native β-casein except the absorption spectrum. αs·β-Interaction in the presence of 10 mm CaCl2 was investigated by use of the nitrated-β-casein instead of the native β-casein. It was proved that αs-casein was stabilized by the nitrated-β-casein and that precipitation of the nitrated-β-casein increased in the presence of αs-casein.The mechanism of interactions between casein components at higher CaCl2 concentration (10 mm) are discussed in connection with the associations at lower CaCl2 concentrations (2~3 mm). 相似文献

Bis(4-chloro-2-ethylphenyl) phenylphosphonate was metabolically transformed into the cor-responding cyclic ester, i.e., 6-chloro-4-methyl-2-phenyl-4/f-1,3,2-benzodioxaphosphorin 2-oxide, in houseflies in vivo. In a p-unsubstituted analog, hydroxylation at the para-position of an ester linkage occurred preferably to alpha-hydroxylation with subsequent cyclization. The cyclization was diastereomerically selective, giving predominantly the cis ester. Distribution of NAD phosphorylating reactions, phosphorylation through NAD kinase and phosphotransferase, was investigated. NAD kinase activity was distributed rather widely in bacteria, whereas phosphotransferase activity with p-NPP and NAD was limited to a few genera. Proteus mirabilis showed strong activity of phosphotransferase besides NAD kinase activity.Partial purification of the phosphotransferase was attempted. The enzyme preparation possessed phosphatase activity as well as phosphotransferase activity. Phosphorylation of NAD proceeded maximally under the conditions below pH 4.0. Cu2+ showed stimulating effect on the activity. Besides p-NPP and phenylphosphate, various nucleotides, especially 2′ (or 3′) isomers, served as excellent phosphoryl donors, and various kinds of nucleosides and nucleotides were phosphorylated to form nucleoside monophosphates and nucleoside diphosphates. 相似文献

The functional properties of gluten obtained by treating with chymotrypsin at alkali pH were investigated. The gluten was treated by chymotrypsin at pH 10.0 and 20°C, and was found to be deamidated to a state that was scarcely subject to proteolysis by chymotrypsin. The degree of deamidation of the gluten reached about 25% by this treatment for 2 hr. The functional properties of the gluten thus obtained were investigated in regard to deamidation. The enzymatically deamidated gluten greatly improved such functional properties as solubility and emulsifying ability. In particular, the solubility of the treated gluten was remarkably high in the pH range of 5 to 8, in which native gluten is insoluble. It was apparent that the improvement in functional properties of gluten was mainly due to the deamidation induced by treating with chymotrypsin at pH 10.0 and 20°C. 相似文献
