Effects of permanent magnets on resting skin blood perfusion in healthy persons assessed by laser Doppler flowmetry and imaging 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Effects on skin blood perfusion of permanent ceramic magnets [0.1 T (1000 G) surface field], individually (disk shaped, 4 cm diameter x 1 cm thick) or in the form of a 11 x 7 in pad ( approximately 28 x 17.8 cm) with an array of 16 rectangular magnets (4.5 x 2.2 cm), were investigated in 16 female volunteers (27.4 +/- 1.7 years, range 21-48 years) using three separate protocols. In protocol A, a disk magnet was placed on the palmar surface of the hand in contact with the thenar eminence (n = 5). In protocol B, the magnet was placed on the hand dorsum overlying the thenar eminence (n = 5). In protocol C, the entire palm and fingers rested on the magnetic pad (n = 6). Magnets were in place for 36 min on one hand, and a sham was in place on the other hand. Blood perfusion was measured on the middle finger dorsum by laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) and on the index finger by laser Doppler imaging (LDI). Perfusion measurements were simultaneously taken in sham and magnet exposed hands, before and during the entire magnet exposure interval. Magnetic field effects were tested by comparing skin blood perfusion sequences in magnet and sham exposed regions. Results showed no significant changes in either LDF or LDI perfusion at magnet or sham sites during exposure, nor were there any significant differences between sham and magnet sites for any protocol. Measurements of skin temperature at the LDF measurement sites also showed no significant change. It is concluded that in the healthy subjects studied with normal, unstressed circulation, magnets of the type and for the duration used, showed no detectible effect on skin blood perfusion in the anatomical area studied. 相似文献

The effects of endothelin on intracellular pH (pHi) were examined in cultured rat vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) using the fluorescent probe BCECF. Endothelin induced biphasic changes in pHi: initial decrease followed by a subsequent increase above the basal level due to activation of the Na+/H+ exchange. The elevation of pHi was slow and sustained, but depended on the dose of endothelin: IC50 was about 3 x 10(-8) M. Na+/H+ exchange inhibition by EIPA (10(-7) M) or by equimolar replacement of external Na+ by choline abolished the pHi increase by enhancing the first phase of cytoplasm acidification. Effects of endothelin were compared with the action of protein kinase C (PK-C) activator phorbol 12-13 myristate ester (PMA). PMA induced a monophasic slow and sustained increase in pHi. The treatments of VSMC with H-7 and staurosporine (PK-C) inhibitors prevented the pHi response to endothelin and PMA. These results suggest that protein kinase C may play an important role in mediating the effects of endothelin on Na+/H+ exchange in VSMC. 相似文献

The low molecular mass protein antigens in PPD from M. bovis BCG were chemically oligomerized using sulfosuccinimidyl-4-(p-maleimidophenyl)-butyrate (S-SMPB) as a crosslinking agent. Protein oligomers with molecular mass over 90 kDa were obtained and used for the preparation of hyperimmune polyclonal rabbit antiserum. Using this antiserum four protein bands with molecular mass 120, 90, 75 and 65 kDA were detected in immunoblotting analysis of sonic extract from M. bovis BCG separated in SDS-polyacrylamide gel. We suggest that these immunoreactive proteins in the sonic extract represent the native forms of the heat stable low molecular mass protein antigens in PPD. 相似文献

In summer and winter of 1986 two outbreaks of alimentary enteric diseases occurred among Soviet specialists and members of their families in Ulan Bator. These diseases were identified as Yersinia infections registered in Mongolia for the first time. In July 114 children in a kindergarten fell ill after being fed with salad prepared from vegetables and spring onions supplied from a nearby state farm. 20 Y. pseudotuberculosis cultures, serovar 1, were isolated, and in 25 persons antibodies to the isolated microorganisms were detected; altogether 32% of cases were confirmed by laboratory methods. During the December outbreak 187 persons were affected, among them 90% of children, through the consumption of imported oranges and tangerines, simultaneous infection with Y. enterocolitica, serovars 05.27 and 09, and hepatitis A virus being observed. The fact of associated infection was registered after the simultaneous detection of the markers of viral hepatitis A and Yersinia infection in 61 patients. In the kindergarten the disease produced a typical clinical picture of Far Eastern scarlatiniform fever, and in winter the abdominal forms of the disease prevailed. In cases of combined Yersinia and viral infection a specific variant of acute hepatitis developed; as regards this variant, the authors present heretofore unknown information on its epidemiology, clinical features and outcome. 相似文献

Reproductive isolation plays the key role in speciation. According to the prevailing ideas, the main speciation mechanism is gradual accumulation of genetic differences in isolated populations (allopatric phase of speciation) based on mutations, selection, and genetic drift. In this case, reproductive isolation emerges as an occasional byproduct of adaptation to different conditions (ecological speciation) or accumulation of random changes in the gene pool resulting from long-term isolation. Pure sympatric speciation assumes isolation as a direct product of selection (divergent or disruptive selection) that favors individuals selectively mating with their likes. A third possibility is substantiated below. We believe that isolation can be a regular and determined product rather than occasional byproduct of divergence. It can rely on the friend/foe discrimination mechanisms, some of which can be “immune-based” and compare the partner’s and own properties (signaling molecules, pheromones, and other antigens in a broad sense).
