Micro- and nanometallic structures that exhibit extraordinary optical transmission (EOT) have attracted much attention for their potential applications in photonic devices. However, most existing reports have only discussed EOT at one specific wavelength, which limits its use in multi-wavelength applications. Here, we experimentally demonstrate EOT at multiple wavelengths through an asymmetric corrugated thin silver film due to simultaneous excitation of multiple plasmonic resonances at both interfaces. A unique method that applies single-pulse nanosecond laser interference lithography is introduced to produce the silver grating, which shows high quality over large area. At oblique incidence, each EOT peak is observed to split into two peaks oppositely shifted towards higher and lower frequencies. At some specific angles of incidence, overlap of these shifted peaks gives rise to distorted transmission spectra. Our method may find applications involving multiple wavelengths such as multi-wavelength bandpass filters, anti-Stokes Raman scattering spectroscopy, enhanced four-wave mixing, and so on. 相似文献

We theoretically investigated an enhancement of the magneto-optical Faraday rotations along with large transmittance in two multilayer structures. The shifts of the Faraday rotation peaks are more obvious than the transmittance peaks when the grating period is changed, which is beneficial to acquire the large Faraday rotation and transmittance. The Faraday rotation of tri-layer system is five times larger than the bilayer system, and the Faraday resonance peak can be mediated by changing the refractive index or thickness of the additional nonmagnetic dielectric layer (NDL) layer. Stilbenes are a class of phenolic metabolites found in various edible plants, such as grapevine, berries and peanuts. Their bioactivitiy and their potential benefits for human health have been the subject of several studies. Among all identified stilbenes, resveratrol has been particularly studied and results from literature showed that it presents several biological activities, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative effects. Likewise, some researches focused on other stilbenes and highlighted similar biological activity for those compounds. However, stilbenes present a high diversity in their phenolic structures (various chemical substituents and polymerization) which is a determining factor of their absorption and metabolism rates. Consequently, this could affect the effectiveness of stilbenes in vivo. In this context, an evaluation of the bioavailability and metabolism of stilbenes is necessary to move forward with pharmacological and clinical studies. Growth factors and extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins are involved in wound healing. Human dermal fibroblasts secrete wound-healing mediators in culture medium known as dermal fibroblast conditioned medium (DFCM). However, the composition and concentration of the secreted proteins differ with culture conditions and environmental factors. We cultured human skin fibroblasts in vitro using serum-free keratinocyte-specific media (EpiLife? Medium [KM1] and defined keratinocyte serum-free medium [KM2]) and serum-free fibroblast-specific medium (FM) to obtain DFCM-KM1, DFCM-KM2 and DFCM-FM, respectively. We identified and compared their proteomic profiles using bicinchoninic acid assay (BCA), 1-dimensional sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (1D SDS-PAGE), enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), matrix-assisted laser desorption ionisation-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF/TOF MS/MS) and liquid chromatography MS (LC-MS/MS). DFCM-KM1 and DFCM-KM2 had higher protein concentrations than DFCM-FM but not statistically significant. MALDI-TOF/TOF MS identified the presence of fibronectin, serotransferrin, serpin and serum albumin. LC-MS/MS and bioinformatics analysis identified 59, 46 and 58 secreted proteins in DFCM-KM1, DFCM-KM2 and DFCM-FM, respectively. The most significant biological processes identified in gene ontology were cellular process, metabolic process, growth and biological regulation. STRING® analysis showed that most secretory proteins in the DFCMs were associated with biological processes (e.g. wound healing and ECM organisation), molecular function (e.g. ECM binding) and cellular component (e.g. extracellular space). ELISA confirmed the presence of fibronectin and collagen in the DFCMs. In conclusion, DFCM secretory proteins are involved in cell adhesion, attachment, proliferation and migration, which were demonstrated to have potential wound-healing effects by in vitro and in vivo studies. 相似文献

In the present work, a constitutive model for articular cartilage is proposed in finite elasto-viscoplasticity. For simplification, articular cartilage is supposed to be a typical composite composed of a soft basis and a fiber assembly. The stress tensor and free energy function are hence accordingly divided into two components. The high nonlinear stress-strain response is assumed to be mainly related to the fiber assembly and described by an exponential-type hypoelastic relation. Ratcheting is considered according to the viscoplasticity, the evolution rule of which is deduced from the dissipative inequality by the co-directionality hypotheses. Then, the capability of the proposed model is validated by comparing its predictions with related experimental observations. Results show that the ratcheting behavior and stress-strain hysteresis loops are reasonably captured by the proposed model. 相似文献
