基于海南岛1∶200 000土壤 地体数字化数据库(HNSOTER),在GIS系统的支持下,对海南岛土壤有机碳储量及分布特征进行了探讨.结果表明,1)标准剖深下(0~100 cm),海南岛土壤有机碳储量为2.78×108 t.2)0~20 cm剖深土壤有机碳密度变幅在0.3~18.8 kg·m-2之间,其中1.0~5.0 kg·m-2密度区占总分布面积的81.2%,按面积加权均值为3.3 kg·m-2.0~100 cm剖深的土壤有机碳密度变幅在1.0~32.1 kg·m-2 之间,其中2.0~14.0 kg·m-2密度区面积比重占89.7%,按面积加权均值为8.4 kg·m-2.不同地形、岩性及土壤类型中,土壤有机碳密度分布有较大变异.3)从中部山地向外至沿海平原,土壤有机碳密度总体上呈递减趋势,但不同剖深下其分布格局仍有一定差异.0~20 cm剖深下土壤有机碳密度高值区(丰富度指数大于1)主要分布于山地以及北部玄武岩台地,0~100 cm剖深下,有机碳密度高值区(丰富度指数大于1)趋向集中于中东部山地、台地区,且其分布重心较前者明显的向东偏移. 相似文献

通过对北京市园林5种常用乔木,国槐(Sophora japonica)、银杏(Ginkgo biloba)、白蜡(Fraxinus chinensis)、杜仲(Eucommia ulmoides)和臭椿(Ailanthus altissima)等植物蒸腾作用与周围环境气象因子(温度、湿度、太阳有效辐射)及植株叶面积指数相关关系的研究,利用Javis公式计算冠层气孔阻力,同时采用PM公式计算冠层蒸腾速率和植株日蒸腾量,并分析不同乔木的冠层气孔导度对环境主要驱动因子的响应规律。结果表明:5种被观测乔木中,国槐耗水量最大,白蜡耗水量最小,植株蒸腾量大小依次为国槐〉银杏〉杜仲〉臭椿〉白蜡(P<0.01)。植物叶片气孔导度及蒸腾量与环境驱动因子太阳辐射及水气压亏缺的相关关系表明,在土壤水分条件较好时,国槐长势优于其它4种乔木,但是其对水分的利用不够经济,在干旱的情况下不能有效节水。 相似文献

The ability to add or delete specific genes in swine will likely provide considerable benefits not just to agriculture but also to medicine, where pigs have potential as models for human disease and as organ donors. Here we have transferred nuclei from a genetically modified fibroblast cell line to porcine oocytes, matured in vitro under defined culture conditions, to create piglets expressing enhanced green fluorescent protein. The nuclear transfer-derived piglets were of normal size, although some mild symptoms of "large offspring syndrome" were evident. The TNF-related ligand, B cell-activating factor belonging to the TNF family (BAFF), is necessary for normal B cell development and survival, and specifically binds the receptors transmembrane activator and calcium-modulator and cyclophilin ligand interactor (TACI), B cell maturation Ag (BCMA), and BAFF-R. Similarities between mice completely lacking BAFF and A/WySnJ strain mice that express a naturally occurring mutant form of BAFF-R suggest that BAFF acts primarily through BAFF-R. However, the nearly full-length BAFF-R protein expressed by A/WySnJ mice makes unambiguous interpretation of receptor function in these animals impossible. Using homologous recombination we created mice completely lacking BAFF-R and compared them directly to A/WySnJ mice and to mice lacking BAFF. BAFF-R-null mice exhibit loss of mature B cells similar to that observed in BAFF(-/-) and A/WySnJ mice. Also, mice lacking both TACI and BCMA simultaneously exhibit no B cell loss, thus confirming that BAFF-R is the primary receptor for transmitting the BAFF-dependent B cell survival signal. However, while BAFF-R-null mice cannot carry out T cell-dependent Ab formation, they differ from BAFF-deficient mice in generating normal levels of Ab to at least some T cell-independent Ags. Efficient micropropagation of papaya (Carica papaya L.) has become crucial for multiplication of specific sex types of papaya
or transgenic lines resistant to virus infection. In this study, aeration at different intervals with a 0.02 μm filter disc
in the closure of culture flasks ensured exchange of gas components. The effect of aeration on development of multibuds to
multishoots was investigated. Multibuds grown in culture flasks after one-week without aeration followed by a two-week aeration
treatment caused a 41% increase in the number of shoots ≥0.5 cm, 42% increase in leaf expansion, and 17% increase in leaf
numbers in comparison with unaerated materials. Ethylene and oxygen concentrations in the culture flasks were measured by
gas chromatography and oxygen electrode at weekly intervals during the culture period. Oxygen concentrations were slightly
different between aerated and unaerated culture flasks. Ethylene in the unaerated flask reached the highest level (0.11 ppm)
2 weeks after the treatment, while accumulation of ethylene in the aerated flasks was not detected. The multishoots grown
for 3 weeks without aeration showed growth retardation on leaves and epinasty on petioles.

Cyanogenic glucosides are amino acid-derived defence compounds found in a large number of vascular plants. Their hydrolysis by specific β-glucosidases following tissue damage results in the release of hydrogen cyanide. The cyanogenesis deficient1 (cyd1) mutant of Lotus japonicus carries a partial deletion of the CYP79D3 gene, which encodes a cytochrome P450 enzyme that is responsible for the first step in cyanogenic glucoside biosynthesis. The genomic region surrounding CYP79D3 contains genes encoding the CYP736A2 protein and the UDP-glycosyltransferase UGT85K3. In combination with CYP79D3, these genes encode the enzymes that constitute the entire pathway for cyanogenic glucoside biosynthesis. The biosynthetic genes for cyanogenic glucoside biosynthesis are also co-localized in cassava (Manihot esculenta) and sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), but the three gene clusters show no other similarities. Although the individual enzymes encoded by the biosynthetic genes in these three plant species are related, they are not necessarily orthologous. The independent evolution of cyanogenic glucoside biosynthesis in several higher plant lineages by the repeated recruitment of members from similar gene families, such as the CYP79s, is a likely scenario. 相似文献

Endomorphins (EMs), the endogenous, potent and selective mu-opioid receptor agonists, have been shown to decrease systemic arterial pressure (SAP) in rats after intravenous (i.v.) administration. In the present study, cardiovascular responses to intrathecal (i.t.) injection of EMs were investigated in urethane-anesthetized rats. It is noteworthy that EMs elicited decreases in SAP and heart rate (HR) in a dose-dependent manner; 10-300nmol/kg were injected intrathecally. Furthermore, these vasodepressor and bradycardic effects were significantly antagonized by naloxone (0.5mg/kg, i.t.). Interestingly, i.t. (5mg/kg) or i.v. (50mg/kg) administrations of N(omega)-nitro-l-arginine methylester (l-NAME) attenuated the vasodepressor and bradycardic effects. Moreover, pretreatment of the rats with muscarinic receptor antagonist atropine (2mg/kg, i.v.) and alpha-adrenoceptor antagonist phentolamine (1mg/kg, i.v.) significantly reduced the vasodepressor effects of EMs. Nevertheless, pretreatment with beta-adrenoceptor antagonist propranolol (2mg/kg, i.v.) could only block the bradycardia effects induced by EMs, but had no significant effects on the hypotension. In summary, all the results suggested that i.t. administration of EMs decreased SAP and HR which were possibly mediated by the activation of opioid receptors in the rat spinal cord. In addition, nitric oxide (NO) release in both the spinal cord and in peripheral tissues might regulate the cardiovascular activities of EMs, and the muscarinic receptor and adrenoceptor played an important role in the regulation of the cardiovascular responses to i.t. administration of EMs. 相似文献

Interferon-alpha (IFN-α) is an immunomodulatory cytokine that is used clinically for the treatment of melanoma in the adjuvant
setting. The cellular actions of IFN-α are regulated by the suppressors of cytokine signaling (SOCS) family of proteins. We
hypothesized that the anti-tumor activity of exogenous IFN-α would be enhanced in SOCS1-deficient mice. SOCS1-deficient (SOCS1−/−) or control (SOCS1+/+) mice on an IFN-γ−/− C57BL/6 background bearing intraperitoneal (i.p.) JB/MS murine melanoma cells were treated for 30 days with i.p. injections
of IFN-A/D or PBS (vehicle). Log-rank Kaplan-Meier survival curves were used to evaluate survival. Tumor-bearing control SOCS1+/+ mice receiving IFN-A/D had significantly enhanced survival versus PBS–treated mice (P = 0.0048). The anti-tumor effects of IFN-A/D therapy were significantly enhanced in tumor-bearing SOCS1−/− mice; 75% of these mice survived tumor challenge, whereas PBS-treated SOCS1−/− mice all died at 13-16 days (P = 0.00038). Antibody (Ab) depletion of CD8+ T cells abrogated the anti-tumor effects of IFN-A/D in SOCS1−/− mice as compared with mice receiving a control antibody (P = 0.0021). CD4+ T-cell depletion from SOCS1−/− mice also inhibited the effects of IFN-A/D (P = 0.0003). IFN-A/D did not alter expression of CD80 or CD86 on splenocytes of SOCS1+/+ or SOCS1−/− mice, or the proportion of T regulatory cells or myeloid-derived suppressor cells in SOCS1+/+ or SOCS1−/− mice. An analysis of T-cell function did reveal increased proliferation of SOCS1-deficient splenocytes at baseline and in
response to mitogenic stimuli. These data suggest that modulation of SOCS1 function in T-cell subsets could enhance the anti-tumor

Background
Over-expression of Aurora kinases promotes the tumorigenesis of cells. The aim of this study was to determine the preclinical profile of a novel pan-Aurora kinase inhibitor, BPR1K653, as a candidate for anti-cancer therapy. Since expression of the drug efflux pump, MDR1, reduces the effectiveness of various chemotherapeutic compounds in human cancers, this study also aimed to determine whether the potency of BPR1K653 could be affected by the expression of MDR1 in cancer cells.Principal Findings
BPR1K653 specifically inhibited the activity of Aurora-A and Aurora-B kinase at low nano-molar concentrations in vitro. Anti-proliferative activity of BPR1K653 was evaluated in various human cancer cell lines. Results of the clonogenic assay showed that BPR1K653 was potent in targeting a variety of cancer cell lines regardless of the tissue origin, p53 status, or expression of MDR1. At the cellular level, BPR1K653 induced endo-replication and subsequent apoptosis in both MDR1-negative and MDR1-positive cancer cells. Importantly, it showed potent activity against the growth of xenograft tumors of the human cervical carcinoma KB and KB-derived MDR1-positive KB-VIN10 cells in nude mice. Finally, BPR1K653 also exhibited favorable pharmacokinetic properties in rats.Conclusions and Significance
BPR1K653 is a novel potent anti-cancer compound, and its potency is not affected by the expression of the multiple drug resistant protein, MDR1, in cancer cells. Therefore, BPR1K653 is a promising anti-cancer compound that has potential for the management of various malignancies, particularly for patients with MDR1-related drug resistance after prolonged chemotherapeutic treatments. 相似文献90.
