菱属(Trapa L.)的系统分类一直存在较大分歧,至今还没有一个比较公认的分类系统。黑龙江和图们江流域是菱属物种多样性的重要分布区之一,为了揭示该流域菱属植物的地理分布格局和形态多样性,我们进行了大量实地调查和研究。结果显示,从该地区28个湖中共采集到菱属11个种及8个种内变异类型,表明它们具有丰富的形态多样性;结合查阅菱属354份标本资料,共获得92个分布地点数据;采集到的11个物种的地理分布格局呈不均衡性,其中细果野菱(Trapa maximowiczii Korsch.)分布最广,野菱(Trapa incisa Siebold et Zucc.)、兴凯菱(Trapa khankensis Pshennikova)和科热夫尼科夫菱(Trapa kozhevnikovirum Pshennikova)为狭域分布种;东部乌苏里江和图们江流域是菱属物种多样性的分布中心,可能是第四纪冰期避难所;菱属植物多数种间形态特性相对稳定,东北菱(Trapa manshurica Fler.)、耳菱(Trapa potaninii V.Vassil)、丘角菱(Trapa japonica Fler.)、西伯利亚菱(Trapa sibirica Fler.)和细果野菱共有8个种内形态变异类型;种群内多数分类性状稳定,种群间形态变异较明显;菱属植物分布格局不均衡和种内形态变异的形成可能与基因流的扩散限制有关。本研究结果为进一步澄清菱属分类混乱问题奠定了基础,进一步结合分子标记技术研究系统演化关系将对揭示菱属的进化历史具有重要意义。 相似文献

Background
Glaucoma is a common disease but its molecular etiology is poorly understood. It involves retinal ganglion cell death and optic nerve damage that is often associated with elevated intraocular pressure. Identifying genes that modify glaucoma associated phenotypes is likely to provide insights to mechanisms of glaucoma. We previously reported glaucoma in DBA/2J mice caused by recessive alleles at two loci, isa and ipd, that cause iris stromal atrophy and iris pigment dispersion, respectively. A approach for identifying modifier genes is to study the effects of specific mutations in different mouse strains. When the phenotypic effect of a mutation is modified upon its introduction into a new strain, crosses between the parental strains can be used to identify modifier genes. The Bolivian squirrel monkey (Saimiri boliviensis boliviensis) is a seasonal breeder. Male squirrel monkeys show distinct morphological and behavioral changes prior to and during the breeding season. A “fatting syndrome” includes increased body weight, increased levels of androgens, and in the Bolivian subspecies, an increasingly active role in the social organization of the group. In this study, the behavior of ten adult male Bolivian squirrel monkeys was analyzed over a 6-month period prior to, during, and after the breeding season. Each was housed as the only adult male in a breeding unit with six to ten adult females and one juvenile male. Employing a principle components method, 11 behavioral clusters were generated from 27 responses. Their activity clusters were identified as follows: sexual activity that showed a peak around the time of peak conceptions; excitatory activity that was initially high but decreased throughout the breeding season; and maintenance activity that did not change across the breeding season. The changing social behavior of the male squirrel monkey parallels physiological changes and is correlated with changing androgen levels. 相似文献

Human fatalities caused by rabies are rarely reported in Jordan; however, domestic animals are more likely to fall victim to rabies compared to wild animals, at least this is the case in Jordan due to the presence of canine rabies. In this study, twelve brain samples from domestic and wild animals suspected of being infected with rabies virus from different regions of Jordan were collected during 2019. Seven of them tested positive using the fluorescent antibody test and real-time SYBR RT-PCR assay. Five specimens were from stray dogs and two from foxes. The whole genome sequences were obtained from the positive samples. Sequence analysis showed that one dog virus from Al Quwaysimah city located in Amman governorate, was closely related to an Israeli strain belonging to a Cosmopolitan ME1a clade. The genomes of the remaining six viruses (four from dogs and two from foxes) collected from different areas of Jordan were genetically-related to each other and clustered together with sequences from Iran and Turkey; all belong to Cosmopolitan ME2 clade. These sequences were analyzed with six other Jordanian rabies virus nucleoprotein (N) gene sequences available in the public database, five of them belong to ME1a clade and one belongs to ME1b clade. Rabies virus whole genome data is scarce across the Middle East. This study provides a better understanding of the molecular epidemiology of rabies virus in the region. 相似文献
