Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells are attractive for their potential for boosting cell efficiency beyond the crystalline silicon (Si) single‐junction limit. However, the relatively large optical refractive index of Si, in comparison to that of transparent conducting oxides and perovskite absorber layers, results in significant reflection losses at the internal junction between the cells in monolithic (two‐terminal) devices. Therefore, light management is crucial to improve photocurrent absorption in the Si bottom cell. Here it is shown that the infrared reflection losses in tandem cells processed on a flat silicon substrate can be significantly reduced by using an optical interlayer consisting of nanocrystalline silicon oxide. It is demonstrated that 110 nm thick interlayers with a refractive index of 2.6 (at 800 nm) result in 1.4 mA cm?² current gain in the silicon bottom cell. Under AM1.5G irradiation, the champion 1 cm2 perovskite/silicon monolithic tandem cell exhibits a top cell + bottom cell total current density of 38.7 mA cm?2 and a certified stabilized power conversion efficiency of 25.2%. 相似文献

We report the nucleotide sequence of a cloned cDNA, pMTS-3, that contains a
1-kb insert corresponding to mouse thymidylate synthase (E.C. 2.1.1.45).
The open reading frame of 921 nucleotides from the first AUG to the
termination codon specifies a protein with a molecular mass of 34,962
daltons. The predicted amino acid sequence is 90% identical with that of
the human enzyme. The mouse sequence also has an extremely high degree of
similarity (as much as 55% identity) with prokaryotic thymidylate synthase
sequences, indicating that thymidylate synthase is among the most highly
conserved proteins studied to date. The similarity is especially pronounced
(as much as 80% identity) in the 44-amino-acid region encompassing the
binding site for deoxyuridylic acid. The cDNA sequence also suggests that
mouse thymidylate synthase mRNA lacks a 3' untranslated region, since the
termination codon, UAA, is followed immediately by a poly(A) segment.

Differences in the activity-rest behavior of preterm and full-term infants provide an important contribution to the analysis of the ontogeny of circadian rhythms. In this study, we recorded the activity-rest behavior of 17 preterm and 8 full-term infants at the approximate age of 20 months over an average of 10 days by means of actigraphic monitoring (Actiwatch, Cambridge Neurotechnology Ltd.). At the same time, the parents of the infants kept a daily diary. The activity-rest rhythm, the nighttime sleep duration, the daytime rest duration, as well as the sleep quality of the infants were analyzed. Preterm and full-term infants at the age of 20 months show a circadian rhythm with a period length between 23 h 32 min (23:32 h) and 24 h 23 min (24:23 h). It can be concluded that the preterm and full-term infants all reached a vital developmental step by showing the dominant circadian rhythm in the spectrum. The daytime rest duration of preterm infants is significantly shorter than that of full-term infants. The sleep quality of preterm infants is significantly lower than that of full-term infants, which means that the preterm infants have a larger percentage of less restful nighttime sleep. In other studies preterm infants show an over-proportional frequency of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). For this reason, future analyses should reveal whether or not actigraphic monitoring is a suitable means for an early identification of activity-rest behavior in children who may develop ADHD. 相似文献

The aims of the present study were, firstly, to determine the reliability and reproducibility of an agility T-test and Yo-Yo 10 m recovery test; and secondly, to analyse the physical characteristics measured by sprint, agility, strength and endurance field tests in wheelchair basketball (WB) players. 16 WB players (33.06 ± 7.36 years, 71.89 ± 21.71 kg and sitting body height 86.07 ± 6.82 cm) belonging to the national WB league participated in this study. Wheelchair sprint (5 and 20 m without ball, and 5 and 20 m with ball) agility (T-test and pick-up test) strength (handgrip and maximal pass) and endurance (Yo-Yo 10 m recovery test) were performed. T-test and Yo-Yo 10 m recovery test showed good reproducibility values (intraclass correlation coefficient, ICC = 0.74-0.94). The WB players’ results in 5 and 20 m sprints without a ball were 1.87 ± 0.21 s and 5.70 ± 0.43 s and with a ball 2.10 ± 0.30 s and 6.59 ± 0.61 s, being better than those reported in the literature. Regarding the pick-up test results (16.05 ± 0.52 s) and maximal pass (8.39 ± 1.77 m), players showed worse values than those obtained in elite players. The main contribution of the present study is the characterization of the physical performance profile of WB players using a field test battery. Furthermore, we demonstrated that the agility T-test and the aerobic Yo-Yo 10 m recovery test are reliable; consequently they may be appropriate instruments for measuring physical fitness in WB. 相似文献

Physostigmine (PHY) is an anticholinergic drug used in the treatment of neuromuscular disorders and organophosphate poisoning. We described a sensitive, accurate, and reproducible method for PHY determination in biological materials. The method utilized a liquid/liquid, ion pair extraction, normal phase HPLC separation, and fluorometric quantitation at 240 nm excitation and 360 nm emission wavelength. We used neostigmine as a stabilizing agent to protect PHY from degradation and dimethylphysostigmine as an internal standard. The peak-height ratio vs concentration was linear over a working range from 0.50 to 25.0 ng/ml of PHY in plasma. Sensitivity of the method was 100 pg/ml of plasma which was the limit of quantitative detection under the experimental conditions used. Precision of the method was evaluated using plasma spiked with two concentrations of PHY: 1.0 and 10.0 ng/ml. Intra-day coefficient of variation (CV) ranged from 3.8 to 5.3%, and inter-day CV ranged from 1.8 to 3.6% for the two levels. The average recovery was 92%. We applied the method to examine the stability of PHY in plasma stored at -15 and -80 degrees C. The data indicated that PHY can be stored at either temperature for 9 weeks without undergoing significant alterations. 相似文献

Feedstuffs used for poultry nutrition in Argentina were analyzed for fungal flora and natural incidence of mycotoxins. Survey
of 120 samples of poultry feeds, taken from May 1998 to April 1999, showed the presence of 15 genera of filamentous fungi.
The predominant genera wereFusarium spp. andPenicillium ssp., isolated in 67.5 % of the samples, followed byAspergillus spp. (57.5 %). Yeast, were significantly isolated from most of the samples. Species identification was carried down for the
toxigenic genera. Fungal total counts of poultry feeds ranged from 2.0 × 103 to 3.0 × 105 CFU g-1 The fungal total counts during two months of sampling, were slightly over the limit value of 1 × 105 CFU g-1, which ensure the hygienic quality of the feed. Potentially toxicogenic species presented moderate mean colony counts. Many
of the fungi isolated from poultry feeds are mycotoxin producers. Fumonisins had the highest incidence, and were found in
97 % of the analyzed samples followed by aflatoxin B1 (46 %), zearalenone (18 %) and deoxynivalenol (6 %). On the co-occurrence of both carcinogenic mycotoxins, all of the FBs
contaminated feed samples were co-contaminated with AFB1. The results show the relevance of the samples screening for viable fungi propagules and the surveillance of their associated

The fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) has been proposed as a model species for assessing the adverse effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on reproduction and development. The purpose of these studies was to develop baseline reproductive biology and endocrinology data for this species to support interpretation of tests with potential EDCs. Pairs of reproductively-active fathead minnows (n=70) were evaluated with respect to reproductive cyclicity in terms of spawning interval and fecundity. The mode and mean (+/-SE) spawning intervals for the fish in this study were 3.0 and 3.7+/-0.1 days, respectively. The mean number of eggs produced per spawn was 85+/-2.8. Animals were sacrificed at periodic intervals during the established spawning cycle and measurements made of gonadal condition (gonadosomatic index [GSI], histopathology) and plasma concentrations of vitellogenin and sex steroids (beta-estradiol, testosterone, 11-ketotestosterone). The GSI in females varied significantly as a function of spawning interval, with the largest values occurring day 2 post-spawn, just prior to the interval of maximum spawning activity. Plasma beta-estradiol concentrations in females also varied significantly relative to peak values in the GSI and spawning activity. Vitellogenin concentrations in the female, and male GSI and steroid concentrations did not vary significantly relative to position in the spawning cycle. Concentrations of beta-estradiol in females and 11-ketotestosterone in males were positively correlated with testosterone concentrations. 相似文献
