Injection of white mice with Ehrlich's carcinoma triggers an increase in the mice blood erythrocyte fraction suspended in the 14% sucrose concentration zone. As established by acid erythrograms, a quantitative increase of this red blood cell population is due to an increased rate of erythroblast maturation and occurrence of immature cell forms in the blood stream. As shown by alkali denaturation of hemoglobin, tumour development causes an increase in alkali-resistant hemoglobin fraction in the erythrocytes. On the basis of the data on alkali denaturation of hemoglobin, it is suggested that in the infected mice increased rate of erythrocyte maturation go in line with selective binding of alkali resistant hemoglobin fraction to red cell membrane.  相似文献

The binding of dalargin, its four analogues and FK-33824, DADLE, met-enkephalin and morphine to peripheral mu- and delta-receptors and to brain receptors has been investigated in comparison with their influence on skin wound healing in rats. It has been shown that only substances with opiate activity, including morphine, stimulated wound healing. No correlation between wound healing effect of peptides and their binding to a definite receptor has been found. Naloxone inhibited wound healing and suppressed opiate peptide-mediated healing process. It is suggested that endogenous opiate peptides are involved in the maintenance of structural homeostasis.  相似文献

Studies have been made on the peroxidase activity of metmyoglobins in animals from various ecological groups--the horse Equus caballus, cattle Bos taurus, beaver Castor fiber, otter Lutra lutra, mink Mustela vison and dog Canis familiaris. The effect of culture conditions (nutrient media, aeration, and temperature) of Staphylococcus warneri KL-1 on the growth and production of the antibacterial peptide warnerin was studied. The selected medium allowed the intensive development of S. warnerin KL-1 culture and a high level of peptide accumulation. It was demonstrated that the bacterial culture growth rate and warnerin production depended on the extent of aeration of the nutrient medium. The highest antibacterial activity (ABA) was achieved in culture liquid by the fed-batch cultivation. The amino acid sequence of the warnerin pure form was determined by structural bioinformatics analysis, and the 3D structure of this peptide was constructed. It was found that the peptide molecule contained three thioether cycles formed by one lanthionine residue and two methyl-lanthionine residues. According to the current classification of lanthipeptides, warnerin can be attributed to class I of lantibiotics.  相似文献

The scarcity of water in arid and semiarid regions of the world is a problem that every day increases by climate change. The subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) and changes in population density of plants are alternatives that can be used to make a sustainable use of water. Therefore, the objectives of this study were to determine the combination that allows for an increased corn performance and efficient use of water without losing the quality of forage. Three different irrigation levels were applied through a system of a SDI at three different densities of forage maize plants in an arid region. The results demonstrated that by applying different levels of water, either enough or lack of soil moisture is created, which is directly reflected in crop yield, and its determining variables such as green forage and dry matter yield, and nutritional quality. The irrigation level to a 100% of potential evapotranspiration (PET), at a density of 80000 plants/ha, increased yield of green forage to 57664 kg/ha; crude protein was 8.59%, while the rest of the quality parameters decreased. This study allowed to conclude that the irrigation level was the major factor in the response of the crop.  相似文献
