Hydrogel matrices for cell cultivation have been generated by two-photon laser polymerization of unsaturated chitosan derivatives and methacrylated hyaluronic acid. The adhesive and toxic properties of the matrices have been assessed, and the matrices have been shown to have a good compatibility with primary hippocampal cell cultures. The formation of morphologically normal neural networks by cells of the nervous system cultured on the surface of hydrogel matrices has been observed. The metabolic status of dissociated hippocampal cells cultured on the matrices was similar to that of the control cultures, as shown by the results of MTT reductase activity assay. Thus, matrices based on unsaturated polysaccharide derivatives crosslinked by laser irradiation showed good compatibility with differentiated cells of the nervous system and considerable potential for use in neurotransplantation. 相似文献

MOTIVATION: Accuracy testing of various pedigree reconstruction methods requires an efficient algorithm for the calculation of distance between a known partition and its reconstruction. The currently used algorithm of Almudevar and Field takes a prohibitively long time for certain partitions and population sizes. RESULTS: We present an algorithm that very efficiently reduces the partition-distance calculation to the classic assignment problem of weighted bipartite graphs that has known polynomial-time solutions. The performance of the algorithm is tested against the Almudevar and Field partition-distance algorithm to verify the significant improvement in speed. In the ? = 3 Uragan-3M torsatron, hydrogen plasma is produced and heated by RF fields in the Alfvén range of frequencies (ω ? ω ci ). To this end, a frame antenna with a broad spectrum of generated parallel wavenumbers is used. The RF discharge evolution is studied experimentally at different values of the RF power fed to the antenna (the anode voltage of the oscillator and the antenna current) and the initial pressure of the fueling gas. It is shown that, depending on the antenna current and hydrogen pressure, the discharge can operate in two regimes differing in the plasma density, temperature, and particle loss. The change in the discharge regime with increasing anode voltage is steplike in character. The particular values of the anode voltage and pressure at which the change occurs are affected by RF preionization or breakdown stabilization by a microwave discharge. The obtained results will be used in future experiments to choose the optimal regimes of the frame-antenna-produced RF discharge as a target for the production and heating of a denser plasma by another, shorter wavelength three-half-turn antenna. 相似文献

Comparative analysis of species composition, biotopic distribution, population structure, and reproduction of rodents and insectivores in Chisinau City was performed in October?CNovember 2008 (3029 traps days, 715 animals). Sylvaemus sylvaticus appeared to be the most numerous and widely distributed species, the reproductive strategy of which consisted of intense reproduction in the summer. The second most abundant species was Microtus rossiaemeridionalis, which had a different reproductive strategy, with part of its population continuing to reproduce actively in the autumn. Urban woodlands are the most close to natural biotopes by the species composition. The highest number of animals was defined for meadows and gardens. The effect of various nitrogen sources on cellulase biosynthesis by the mutant strain Trichoderma viride 44 was examined. This strain may utilized nitrogen in the nitrate, ammonium of organic form. When cultivating this strain, it appears advantageous to add to the nutrient medium yeast and yeast lyzates as well as their mixture with ammonium sulfate. Cellulase reached its maximum activity of 20.2, 21.5 and 23.2 mu/ml when grown on the medium containing ammonium phosphate, peptone and brewing yeast plus ammonium sulfate, respectively. It is useful to apply nitrogen in its organic forms in small quantities and in combination with mineral forms. The nitrogen presence in the medium is necessary only at the exponential stage of fungal growth. The lack of nitrogen in the stationary stage characterized by the maximum cellulase formation does not inhibit an increase in the enzyme activity. 相似文献
