In the l = 3 Uragan-3M (U-3M) torsatron with a helical divertor the plasma is produced and heated by RF field in the ω ≤ ω ci range of frequencies. A two-temperature ion perpendicular energy distribution with a suprathermal tail sets in with heating. If the heating power is high enough, a spontaneous transition to an H-like confinement mode is observed. Recently, it has been supposed that the transition is connected with hotter and suprathermal ions (common name “fast ions“, FI) loss. The objective of this work is an experimental elucidation of the real link between the H-transition and FI loss. To do this, a transient regime of the RF discharge with two H-mode states is chosen, and the evolution is followed of electron density, FI content in the confinement volume, FI outflow to the divertor and edge potential. On the basis of juxtaposing of these processes, a conclusion is made that the H-mode transition in U-3M is really driven by FI loss. Possible mechanisms resulting in the transition are discussed, among them the ion orbit loss and the radial drift of helically-trapped ion orbits seem most probable. 相似文献

The effect on reduction/oxidation (redox) reactions was studied for the first time for pulsed current exposure using a Darsonval’ Korona physiotherapeutic device. The reactions were studied in Fe2+, Fe3+, KI, tryptophan, tyrosine, and phenylalanine model solutions. Treatment with the device induced redox reactions and quenched the fluorescence of aromatic amino acids. The highest yields of redox reactions and the greatest fluorescence quenching were observed within the first 0.5–2 min from the start of treatment. In the case of one-electron transfer (a Fe2+/Fe3+ system), the yields of oxidation and reduction reactions were approximately proportional. In the case of two-electron transfer (a I–/I3- system), only reduction was observed, while oxidation was suppressed. The effect was presumably associated with the duration of the pulsed current half-wave. The results implicate redox processes triggered by microdischarges on the electrode surface in the therapeutic effect of D’Arsonval treatment. 相似文献

Specific morphological and biological features of the populations of the Arctic grayling Thymallus arcticus from lakes Urunge Nur, Mongosha, Sadaiskoe, and Gusinoe situated in the Upper Sayan Mountains in the sources of the Oka and Kitoi rivers (the basin of the upper reaches of Angara) that have been not studied previously are considered. The results of the multivariate analysis indicated the uniformity of all samples by 12 meristic characters. Graylings of the studied lakes are similar to graylings from the Angara and Nizhnyaya Tunguska rivers and the Irkutsk Reservoir, as well as to the Baikal grayling T. a. baicalensis in body coloration and pattern of the dorsal fin. The samples studied and T. a. baicalensis considerably differ in the above characters from populations inhabiting the basin of the upper reaches of the Ob that belong to the nominative subspecies T. a. arcticus. The differences established between the Angara-Yenisei and the Upper Ob graylings give grounds to doubt the justification of including them into one taxon, T. a. arcticus. The same is evidenced by the results of molecular-genetic studies of graylings from the Palearctic (Froufe et al., 2005). The data obtained indicate the necessity of ascertaining the boundaries of the ranges of different forms of graylings in the Angara-Yenisei and Ob basins and of the revision of their taxonomic status. Populations inhabiting the Angara and Yenisei rivers, except their sources and the section of the lower reaches, should be assigned to the Baikal subspecies, T. a. baicalensis. Graylings from different lakes in the upper reaches of Oka and Kitoi differ in their linear-weight indices. The indices of growth are highest where they occupy a dominant position. Their food in the summer consists mainly of the larval and imaginal stages of amphibiotic and aerial-terrestrial insects. Only in Lake Urunge Nur do graylings of elder age groups use fish of other species for food. The extreme conditions of habitation of the grayling in Lake Gol’tsovoe are the cause of food deficiency, which determines its dwarfism. 相似文献

The effect of furostanol glycosides of a cell culture of Dioscorea deltoidea Wall on oxidative processes in tomato plants subjected to invasion with the gall nematode Meloidogyne incognita Kofoid et White was studied. We showed that furostanol glycosides induce a nonspecific defensive response in plants. Exposure of cell membranes to furostanol glycosides causes rearrangements in fatty acids, resulting in the formation of conjugated dienes, which makes molecules thermodynamically more stable under stress conditions. Derivatization of the natural flavonoid dihydroquercetin with p-aminobenzoic acid was carried out in an ethyl acetate/citric buffer biphasic system using laccase from the fungus Trametes hirsuta. The main reaction product yield was ~68 mol %. The product was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and liquid chromatography-mass spectroscopy, and its structure was elucidated. The reaction product affected viability of cultured human rhabdomyosarcoma cells (RD cell line) in a dose-dependent manner and, therefore, can be of interest to pharmaceutical industry. 相似文献
