Relevance of mode coupling to energy/information transfer during protein function, particularly in the context of allosteric interactions is widely accepted. However, existing evidence in favor of this hypothesis comes essentially from model systems. We here report a novel formal analysis of the near‐native dynamics of myosin II, which allows us to explore the impact of the interaction between possibly non‐Gaussian vibrational modes on fluctutational dynamics. We show that an information‐theoretic measure based on mode coupling alone yields a ranking of residues with a statistically significant bias favoring the functionally critical locations identified by experiments on myosin II. Influence of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and hydrocortisone (HC) on growth and development of teeth during prefunctional period has been studied, employing radioactive tracers. Biosynthetic and reproductive activity of cells is estimated in the molar and incisor tissues. It has been established that PTH accelerates the process of local resorption of the bone along the alveolar crest, but does not influence upon the teeth growth, functional and reproductive activity of the pulp cells. HC inhibits protein and glycoprotein synthesis, decreases amount of proliferating cells, accelerates their differentiation and, thus, delays formation of the root and tooth growth.  相似文献

The B cell Ag receptor (BCR) is a multimeric complex, containing Ig alpha and Ig beta, capable of internalizing and delivering specific Ags to specialized late endosomes, where they are processed into peptides for loading onto MHC class II molecules. By this mechanism, the presentation of receptor-selected epitopes to T cells is enhanced by several orders of magnitude. Previously, it has been reported that, under some circumstances, either Ig alpha or Ig beta can facilitate the presentation of Ags. However, we now demonstrate that if these Ags are at low concentrations and temporally restricted, both Ig alpha and Ig beta are required. When compared with the BCR, chimeric complexes containing either chain alone were internalized but failed to access the MHC class II-enriched compartment (MIIC) or induce the aggregation and fusion of its constituent vesicles. Furthermore, Ig alpha/Ig beta complexes in which the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif tyrosines of Ig alpha were mutated were also incapable of accessing the MIIC or of facilitating the presentation of Ag. These data indicate that both Ig alpha and Ig beta contribute signaling, and possibly other functions, to the BCR that are necessary and sufficient to reconstitute the trafficking and Ag-processing enhancing capacities of the intact receptor complex.  相似文献

We develop a general framework for the analysis of residue fluctuations that simultaneously incorporates anharmonicity and mode-coupling in a unified formalism. We show that both deviations from the Gaussian model are important for modeling the multidimensional energy landscape of the protein Crambin (1EJG) in the vicinity of its native state. The effect of anharmonicity and mode-coupling on the fluctuational entropy is in the order of a few percent.  相似文献

We investigated the structure of hemal nodes in Saanen goats using immunohistochemical staining. We examined the distribution of CD3 positive T lymphocytes, CD79a positive B lymphocytes, CD68 positive macrophages and S100 protein positive follicular dendritic cells. Hemal nodes of six healty adult female goats were used. Hemal nodes were removed from the thoracic and abdominal cavities. The oval to round hemal nodes were observed especially between the abdominal aorta and vena cava, and near the kidneys and adrenal glands. Tissue sections were stained with Crossmon’s modified triple stain to demonstrate general histological structure. The avidin-biotin-peroxidase technique using anti-CD3, anti-CD79a, anti-CD68 and anti-S100 primary antibodies was used for immunohistochemistry. Many CD3 positive T lymphocytes were found in the germinal center of the lymph follicles and in the lymphatic cords of hemal nodes; CD3 positive cells also were observed in the sinuses. CD79a and CD68 positive cells were found at the germinal center of the lymph follicles. In the lymph follicles near the subcapsular sinuses, CD79a and CD68 positive cells were found especially in e areas bordering the mantle zone. S100 positive cells were found in the lymph follicles, lymphatic cords and sinuses.  相似文献

Certain sequence in appearance of ossification points has been stated in the cartilage models of the superior and inferior extremities of the human embryos at the end of the embryonal and the beginning of the fetal periods of development. The change in the size (length) of the ossification points in anlages of the long tubular bones during the successive stages of embryogenesis is of linear character and can be described by means of the equation y = ax + b, where y--age of the embryo (days), x--length of the osseous points. Coefficients a and b are calculated for estimation the age of the embryos according to the length of the osseous points in the anlages of the brachial, femoral and radial bones.  相似文献
