A series of novel (0,0-dialkyl)phosphono derivatives of 1,3-dioxan was prepared, with various alkyl substituents on different positions on the ring carbon atoms. The compounds were obtained by an Arbuzov-type rearrangement of trialkyl phosphites either with halogenoacetals or with 2-alkoxy-1,3-dioxans. The products were tested as potential plant growth regulators, using as a primary screen the effect in a tissue culture of green and white cells, followed by algal growth experiments, green-house tests on barley and maize, and small scale field trials on cucumber, tomato and maize.  相似文献

Monocytic leukemia (MoL) cells were obtained from the peripheral blood of a patient in whom the leukemic cells infiltrating various lymphoreticular organs exhibited features intermediate between interdigitating reticulum cells (IDC) and ordinary phagocytic macrophages, whereas the leukemic cells in the peripheral blood were essentially monocytic and lacked such features. Peripheral blood CD4+ T-cells were established as an interleukin-2-dependent T-cell line. When the MoL cells were exposed for a few days to conditioned medium from the T-cell line, they extended several dendritic cytoplasmic projections and became intensely positive for HLA-DR antigen, cytoplasmic S-100 beta protein, and CD1 antigen. Functionally, the conditioned medium significantly down-regulated Fc-mediated and Fc-independent phagocytic activities, and the levels of lysosomal enzymes such as lysozyme and nonspecific esterase in the MoL cells. Moreover, the conditioned medium significantly up-regulated the accessory cell function of the MoL cells as measured by the primary allogenic mixed leukocyte reaction (MLR). Furthermore, the conditioned medium significantly down-regulated the expression of CD14 antigen. Biochemical analysis indicated that the factor responsible for these changes is a protein which is distinct from known human cytokines and whose molecular weight is approximately 31 kDa. These findings suggest that IDC are closely related the monocytic lineage and that helper T-cells play an important role in constructing the microenvironment of T-lymphoid tissues which is necessary for the differentiation and maturation of IDC.  相似文献

Localization of the MCC (mutated in colorectal cancer) gene product, a cell cycle-regulating protein mutated in several colorectal tumors, in various mouse tissues was examined by immunohistochemistry and immunoelectron microscopy. MCC was localized on microvilli and in the apical cytoplasm in renal proximal tubule epithelial cells and pancreatic acinar cells. In hepatocytes, MCC was exclusively detected on microvilli. MCC was highly expressed in the cerebral cortex and the molecular layer of the cerebellar cortex and was partially associated with membrane organelles in neuronal elements. Adrenal chromaffin cells showed little expression of MCC. MCC was localized to the cell margins of ependymal cells, thyroid follicular cells, and anterior pituitary cells. In parotid acinar cells, only the apical surface was immunopositive. MCC was not expressed in skeletal and cardiac muscle. MCC was present at lateral cell borders in the duodenum and colon epithelium. In addition, the apical cytoplasm of colon epithelial cells exhibited intense immunoreactivity. The amount of MCC increased during differentiation of NGF-treated PC12 cells. In conclusion, MCC was expressed in differentiated cells and was associated with the plasma membrane and membrane organelles. In addition to the negative regulation of the cell cycle, MCC may be involved in cell differentiation.  相似文献
