野生猕猴声行为的研究

本文通过在华南四省区对四个野生种群猕猴声行为的观察和现场录音,对它们的叫声声学特性,行为模式和其它个体对其相应的行为反应进行了定量的分析研究,并得出１１种不同的声行为,这些声行为有相互不同的声学特性,不同的行为模式并引起其它个体相应的行为反应,从而起着通讯的作用。叫声在猕猴的声行为通讯中,一些借助视觉提示,至少以不同的刺激度来“表示”某一类事物,并得到个体间的“共识”有些甚至无需视觉提示而单独传递     

Photo-induced activation of cytochrome P450/reductase fusion enzyme coupled with spinach chloroplasts

Summary Photoactivation of cytochrome P450 monooxygenase was studied using a combination of spinach chloroplasts and yeast microsomes containing rat P4501A1/yeast reductase fusion enzyme. Under illumination, in the reaction mixture, NADP was reduced, transferring electrons to the P450/reductase fusion enzyme to convert 7-ethoxycoumarin to 7-hydroxycoumarin.     

桂平市竹笋资源及其开发利用

桂平市食用竹笋资源丰富,有大头竹笋、吊丝竹笋、浦竹笋、毛竹笋等十余种,年产鲜笋８５００ｔ以上。原有的加工方法比较落后,现已注意引进新技术,今后还需进一步开发利用。     

浩浩巴组织培养和快速繁殖

浩浩巴顶芽、茎段在ＭＳ基本培养基中培养,附加植物激素１～２ｍｇ／Ｌ的ＢＡ或ＺＴ和０．２ｍｇ／Ｌ的ＮＡＡ配合使用明显促进芽苗形成。诱导生根采用两步生根法能有效地提高生根率。试管苗移栽获得成活。     

献血员抗－HCV检测报告

对１５８７名献血员进行了抗－ＨＣＶ检测,总阳性率５．６０％,在不同职业中农民较高,占６．７２％,３０岁以上为１２．７６％。我站自改进采浆工艺,严格使用一次性消毒器具后,未发现ＨＣＶ交叉感染。职业献血者抗－ＨＣＶ阳性率高达３５．４８％,易造成输血后ＨＣＶ感染。对ＨＣＶ感染ＯＤ值阳性３０人又进行４－６个月的观察复测,其中１６人ＯＤ值下降,６人上升,认为ＯＤ值的变化与自限性ＨＣＶ感染有关。

Structure and properties of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrate) produced by Alcaligenes latus

Summary Random copolymers of 3-hydroxybutyrate (3HB) and 4-hydroxybutyrate (4HB) with a wide range of compositions varying from 0 to 83 mol% 4HB were produced by Alcaligenes latus from the mixed carbon substrates of 3-hydroxybutyric and 4-hydroxybutyric acids. The structure and physical properties of P(3HB-co-4HB) were characterized by¹H and¹³C NMR spectroscopy, gel-permeation chromatography, and differential scanning calorimetry. The isothermal radial growth rates of spherulites of P(3HB-co-4HB) were much slower than the rate of P(3HB) homopolymer. The enzymatic degradation rates of P(3HB-co-4HB) films by a PHB depolymerase were strongly influenced by the copolymer composition.     

Lipase-catalyzed synthesis of lysophosphatidic acid in a solvent free system

Summary The direct, lipase-catalyzed esterifications of glycerol-3-phosphate in an organic solvent system and in a solvent free system were carried out. In a solvent free system only, LPA synthesis could be achieved within the acceptable reaction time. Open reaction system was preferable to closed reaction system for LPA synthesis. Yield of LPA isolated by silica gel column chromatography was 32.3%.     

Accumulation of poly-(hydroxybutyrate) by a non-sulfur photosynthetic bacterium,Rhodobacter sphaeroides RV at different pH

Summary Effect of pH of culture media on intracellular accumulation of poly-(hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) by a non-sulfur photosynthetic bacterium, Rhodobacter sphaeroides strain RV was studied in pH-stat cultures. Sub-optimal pH for growth, 8.0 or 8.5 gave the higher content of PHB rather than optimal pH 7.5 for growth. These results show that growth and PHB accumulation of the bacteria can be controlled by pH of culture media.     

Induction of a Nerve Growth Factor-Sensitive Kinase that Phosphorylates the DNA-Binding Domain of the Orphan Nuclear Receptor NGFI-B

Abstract: Nerve growth factor (NGF) induces the synthesis and the phosphorylation of the orphan nuclear receptor NGFI-B in PC12 cells. Previous work has shown that phosphorylation, by protein kinase A, of a specific serine in the DNA-binding domain inhibits its binding to the NGFI-B response element. Also, cytoplasmic extracts from PC12 cells phosphorylate this serine, and phosphorylation is greater in extracts from cells treated with NGF. The present work describes the induction, identification, and partial purification of a kinase (termed NGFI-B kinase I) from PC12 cell extracts that catalyzes this phosphorylation. Phosphorylation of the DNA-binding domain with this purified preparation inhibits its binding to the NGFI-B response element. The kinase is rapidly activated by treatment of the cells with NGF, and the activation lasts for at least several hours. It also is activated by fibroblast growth factor and epidermal growth factor (EGF), but the activation by EGF is quite transient. The kinase requires Mg²⁺ but will use Mn²⁺. The molecular mass of the kinase is 95–100 kDa, and it is different from protein kinase A, Fos kinase, or pp90 ^rsk . Comparison with a partially purified preparation of cyclic AMP response element-binding protein kinase, however, indicates that the two are either very similar or identical.
