This study identified the biological role of miR-4728 in Burkitt lymphoma (BL) process.
Methods
Ramos cells were used to analyze MicroRNA-4728 (miR-4728) biological functions. MiR-4728 expression was investigated in 14 randomly chosen tumor tissues and 12 noncancerous tissues by qRT-PCR. Cyquant assay was used to monitor cell proliferation. Colony formation assay was performed to study the effectiveness of miR-4728 on the proliferation of cells. The effects of miR-4728 on MAPK signaling pathway were detected by luciferase reporter assay. The significance of differences between groups were evaluated by SPSS.
Results
In this study, MiRNA-4728 was observed to down-regulated in BL tissues compared to the noncancerous tissues. Additionally, miR-4728 inhibited Ramos cell proliferation. Moreover, miR-4728 overexpression also decreased the MAPK signaling activity.
Conclusion
Our results suggested that miR-4728 serves as a suppressor and antagonist of oncogenic MAPK in Burkitt lymphoma. The appropriate regulation of miR-4728 might be vital to improve BL treatment. 相似文献

Pre-harvest sprouting (PHS) in bread wheat is a major abiotic constraint reducing yield and influencing the production of high quality grain. In China both spring and winter wheat regions are affected by PHS. Sichuan lies in southwest China, where the most of rainfall occurs during April to September when wheat is harvested. The present investigation was conducted to identify the allelic variability of Vp1, a gene that plays a role in maintenance and induction of dormancy, among Sichuan landraces and recent cultivars with different dormancy levels and to find potential sources of PHS resistance for breeding. Sichuan landrace and cultivar wheat accessions had a wide range of dormancy levels. The average germination index (GI) of Sichuan landrace accessions was 0.232, whereas at 0.674 it was much higher for cultivars. The different dormancy levels between landraces and cultivars indicated that pre-harvest sprouting resistance might have been neglected in recent Sichuan wheat breeding programs. The average GI of white grained accessions was higher than for red grained accessions. Particular Vp-1B gene fragments were specific in landraces or cultivars and in white or red grained accessions. The results indicated that Vp-1B markers could be used to distinguish cultivars and landraces. Significant relationships between certain Vp-1B allelesand GI of Sichuan wheat accessions were shown by Spearman’s rank correlation analysis. 相似文献
A polarization filter that has a novel photonic crystal fiber structure of semi-hourglass part and Au-coated film is proposed. We simulated the performance of the structure by the finite element method. The numerical simulation results show that altering the structure parameters and the thickness of Au film can lead to an optimal parameter combination with remarkable features, owing to the semi-hourglass part that induced huge asymmetry factor into the structure. On the one hand, when the thickness of Au film is controlled to be 18.7 nm, we can get the confinement loss 1304.02 dB/cm and 3.96 dB/cm on y-polarization and x-polarization respectively at λ = 1.55 μm. On the other hand, controlling the thickness to 35 nm, the confinement loss on y-polarization and x-polarization is 848.87 dB/cm and 1.31 dB/cm respectively at λ = 1.31 μm. In addition, the bandwidth with crosstalk smaller than − 20 dB is 680 nm and 800 nm at λ = 1.55 μm and 1.31 μm, respectively, when the fiber length is 500 μm. This structure, as a reference, can provide a new idea when designing a photonic crystal fiber structure applied in optical communication and sensor system.
大气氮沉降增加生态系统氮有效性,优势种植物对不同水平氮输入的响应影响草原生态系统结构和功能。研究设置4个氮添加水平,分析内蒙古温带草原优势种大针茅(Stipa grandis)光合生理特性对不同梯度氮添加的响应。结果表明:低氮(0-2 g m-2 a-1)处理时,大针茅叶片氮含量较低,叶绿素含量和1,5-二磷酸核酮糖羧化/加氧酶的活性不高,光能利用效率低,导致光系统II出现过剩激发能,光合器官受到抑制,净光合速率相对较低。适量氮添加(5-10 g m-2 a-1)提高了大针茅叶片羧化系统和电子传递系统的氮分配,进而提高了1,5-二磷酸核酮糖羧化/加氧酶的活性以及电子传递速率,净光合速率增大。高氮(25 g m-2 a-1)处理时,叶片氮含量较高,但光合氮分配比例下降,降低了光合氮利用效率。大针茅光抑制程度增大,叶绿素含量、1,5-二磷酸核酮糖羧化/加氧酶的活性下降,不利于生物量积累。研究结果有助于进一步了解全球变化背景下草原生态系统优势种的生理响应机制,并为草原的可持续发展提供一定的理论依据。 相似文献
