Cuticular wax is an important factor that affects storage quality of fruits and vegetables. Previous studies have shown that cuticular wax of pears changes significantly during storage, whereas there are few studies on the effects of different storage methods on the wax changes and the relationship with storage quality. Cuticular wax of Korla pear stored using different methods, was measured to analyze its total wax content, chemical compositions and their relationship with storage quality. At the end of storage, the highest cuticular wax content was observed in controlled atmosphere (CA) storage and the lowest in room temperature storage. The substances of the primary components with higher contents were nonacosane, (E, E)-ɑ-farnesene, dodecan-1-ol, 1,1-dimethoxynonane, nonanal, palmitic acid, and oleic acid. Total wax content, olefins and fatty acids were most significantly with the storage quality, followed by alkanes and esters. Moreover, total wax content, wax composition and weight loss were closely related to postharvest senescence. Overall, an understanding of variations in the cuticular wax under different storage methods could provide theoretical basis for further study on the storage and preservation technology of pears.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can improve plant tolerance to several abiotic stresses, including heavy
metals, drought or salinity exposure. However, the role of AMF in alleviation of soil cadmium (Cd)-induced toxicity to plants is still largely unknown. In this study, Cd speciation in soil and subcellular distribution of Cd were
used to characterize the roles of application AM fungi in the alleviation of Cd toxicity in alfalfa plants. Our results
showed that the addition of Glomus mosseae in Cd contaminated soil (10 mg/Kg) significantly increased soil pH,
cation exchange capacity (CEC) and organic matter in rhizosphere soil with Medicago truncatula L., and then
account for significantly decreased contents of exchangeable and carbonate-bounded Cd speciation in rhizosphere
soil, indicating alleviation of plant toxicity by reduction of bioavailable fractions of Cd. Although there is no significant difference found in Cd accumulation by roots and shoots respectively between Cd and AM-Cd treatments, more portion of Cd was recorded compartmentalization in cell wall fraction of both root and shoot in
treatment of Cd with AM application, indicating alleviation of Cd toxicity to plant cell. Herein, application of
AM fungi in Cd treatments performed to inhibit the appearance of Cd toxicity symptoms, including the improvement of leaf electrolyte leakage, root elongation, seedling growth and biomass. This information provides a clearer
understanding of detoxification strategy of AM fungi on Cd behavior with development and stabilization of soil
structure and subcellular distribution of plant. 相似文献
Four new nanaomycins ( 1 – 4 ), together with two known compounds, nanaomycin αA ( 5 ) and nanaomycin βA ( 6 ) were isolated from a fermentation broth of Streptomyces hebeiensis derived from lichen. The structures of the new nanaomycins 1 – 4 were established using comprehensive NMR spectroscopic data analysis as well as UV, IR, and MS data. The antimicrobial activities of 1 – 6 were evaluated against Gram‐positive bacteria and fungus. Compounds 5 and 6 showed antimicrobial activities against the test microorganisms, while 1 – 4 were inactive at 100 μg/ml. 相似文献
Sodium (Na) super ion conductor structured Na3V2(PO4)3 (NVP) is extensively explored as cathode material for sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) due to its large interstitial channels for Na+ migration. The synthesis of 3D graphene‐like structure coated on NVP nanoflakes arrays via a one‐pot, solid‐state reaction in molten hydrocarbon is reported. The NVP nanoflakes are uniformly coated by the in situ generated 3D graphene‐like layers with the thickness of 3 nm. As a cathode material, graphene covered NVP nanoflakes exhibit excellent electrochemical performances, including close to theoretical reversible capacity (115.2 mA h g?1 at 1 C), superior rate capability (75.9 mA h g?1 at 200 C), and excellent cyclic stability (62.5% of capacity retention over 30000 cycles at 50 C). Furthermore, the 3D graphene‐like cages after removing NVP also serve as a good anode material and deliver a specific capacity of 242.5 mA h g?1 at 0.1 A g?1. The full SIB using these two cathode and anode materials delivers a high specific capacity (109.2 mA h g?1 at 0.1 A g?1) and good cycling stability (77.1% capacity retention over 200 cycles at 0.1 A g?1). 相似文献
Objective: Ultraviolet B (UVB) irradiation is the initial etiological factor for various skin disorders, including erythema, sunburn, photoaging, and photocarcinogenesis. Pterostilbene (Pter) displayed remarkable antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticarcinogenic activities. This study aimed to investigate the effective mechanism of Pter against UVB-induced photodamage in immortalized human keratinocytes. Methods: Human keratinocytes were pretreated with Pter (5 and 10?μM) for 24?h prior to UVB irradiation (300?mJ/cm2). Harvested cells were analyzed by MTT, DCFH-DA, comet, western blotting, luciferase promoter, small interference RNA transfection, and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction assay. Results: Pter significantly attenuated UVB-induced cell death and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and effectively increased nuclear translocation of NF-E2-related factor-2 (Nrf2), expression of Nrf2-dependent antioxidant enzymes, and DNA repair activity. Moreover, the protective effects of Pter were abolished by small interference RNA-mediated Nrf2 silencing. Furthermore, Pter was also found to induce the phosphorylation of Nrf2 and the known phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K) phosphorylated kinase, Akt. The specific inhibitor of PI3K, LY294002, successfully abrogated Pter-induced Nrf2 phosphorylation, activation of Nrf2-antioxidant response element pathway, ROS scavenging ability, and DNA repair activity. Conclusion: The present study indicated that Pter effectively protected against UVB-induced photodamage by increasing endogenous defense mechanisms, scavenging UVB-induced ROS, and aiding in damaged DNA repair through a PI3K-dependent activation of Nrf2/ARE pathway. 相似文献
