The first isolation of enantiomeric and meso-zeaxanthin in nature   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Racemic mixtures of (3RS, 3'RS)-zeaxanthin were separated into the three optical isomers, (3R, 3'R)-zeaxanthin (1), (3R,3'S;meso)-zeaxanthin (2) and (3S,3'S)-zeaxanthin (3), by converting to their corresponding dibenzoates and by using HPLC on an optical resolution column Sumipax OA-2000. According to this procedure, it has been shown that only (1) is isolated from higher plants, shellfish, starfish, sea squirt, sea cucumber and then examined; on the other hand (1), (2) and (3) are isolated from zeaxanthin fraction of shrimp, fish and turtle examined. This is the first isolation of enantiomeric and meso-zeaxanthin in nature.  相似文献

Background  

Meiotic prophase is a critical stage in sexual reproduction. Aberrant chromosome recombination during this stage is a leading cause of human miscarriages and birth defects. However, due to the experimental intractability of mammalian gonads, only a very limited number of meiotic genes have been characterized. Here we aim to identify novel meiotic genes important in human reproduction through computational mining of cross-species and cross-sex time-series expression data from budding yeast, mouse postnatal testis, mouse embryonic ovary, and human fetal ovary.  相似文献

Unpublished portions of the synthesis of a phosphinate-phosphonate diether analog of CDPdiacylglycerol are reported. The liponucleotide analog was found to be a very powerful inhibitor of platelet PI synthetase; kinetic data suggest a competitive inhibition mechanism. The structural specificity of CDPdiacylglycerol for liponucleotide-mediated biosynthetic reactions is discussed.  相似文献

An iso-random Bi Bi mechanism has been proposed for adenylate kinase. In this mechanism, one of the enzyme forms can bind the substrates MgATP and AMP, whereas the other form can bind the products MgADP and ADP. In a catalytic cycle, the conformational changes of the free enzyme and the ternary complexes are the rate-limiting steps. The AP(5)A inhibition equations derived from this mechanism show theoretically that AP(5)A acts as a competitive inhibitor for the forward reaction and a mixed noncompetitive inhibitor for the backward reaction.  相似文献

A new phosphorylating agent, S-(N-monomethoxytritylaminoethyl)-O-(O-chlorophenyl) phosphorothioate, was prepared and reacted with a 5'-hydroxyl group of an oligonucleotide using 1-mesitylene-sulfonyl-3-nitrotriazole (MSNT) as a condensing agent. After base labile protecting groups were removed, the partially deprotected oligonucleotide was separated on a reversed phase column and converted to the oligonucleotide with an aminoethyl or a phosphoryl group at the 5'-end by treatment with 80% acetic acid or iodine-water, respectively. The syntheses of ppT, pppT, A5'pp5'T and A5'ppp5'T were also performed by treatment of 5'-O-(N-monomethoxytritylaminoethylthiophosphoryl) thymidine with tri-n-octylammonium salt of phosphoric acid, pyrophosphoric acid, pA and ppA, respectively.  相似文献
