血液病患者的巨细胞病毒感染

用间接酶联免疫吸附实验(ELISA)对新近诊断的179例血液病患者血清巨细胞病毒(HCMV)IgM和IgA抗体进行了检测。阳性率分别为11,17％11,73％,明显高于对照人群(4,76％和3,97％),提示血液病患者由于免疫功能下降,易于发生HCMV活动性感染。     

Virological survey of rhesus monkeys in China

A virological survey of rhesus monkeys captured in China for 13 viruses and/or antibodies was performed. Antigens used were SFV, SF40, HSV-1, Sa11, measles, vaccinia, epidemic or simian hemorrhagic fever, Langat, Kunming, poliomyelitis, HIV, SV41 and rubella. Monkeys were from Sichuan, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi provinces. Antibody was detected to all the listed viruses except HIV, SV41 and rubella. Both SFV and SV40 were recovered from monkeys, but H. simiae, LCM and coxsackieviruses were not.     

巨细胞病毒冻干保存

The preservation of cytomegalovirus (CMV) by lyophilization was first developed in China. In 4 to 10 days the typical CPE was up to + in the HEL cell line which was inoculated only 0.2 ml suspension of lyophilized strain AD169 or CMV isolated from milk breast. After preserved for 1 year the lyophilized cytomegalovirus strain still contained 1.5-2.0 lgTCID50/0.1 ml in titer of viral infection. The lyophilized strains have been used in the preparation of diagnostic antigen of cytomegalovirus in our department, also the strains were supplied to the whole country.     

买麻藤化学成分的研究

从买麻藤(Gnetum montanum Markgr)的藤茎中分离鉴定出4个新化合物:2-羟基(?)甲氧基-4-甲氧羰基吡咯(1),2-羟基-3-甲氧甲基-4-甲氧羰基吡咯(2),3,4-二羟基-4-(?)氧基二苄醚(3)和3,3',4'-三羟基-4-甲氧基二苄醚(4)以及两个已知化合物2,3-二苯基吡咯(5)和胺甲基甲醇(6)。化合物(1)、(2)和(6)是以盐酸盐形式分离得到。     

微管的冷稳定性与植物抗寒性关系的研究

利用间接免疫荧光的细胞化学技术对番茄、黄瓜、菠菜、甜菜及小麦等不同抗寒性植物微管的冷稳性进行了比较研究。结果指出,不抗寒的喜温性植物番茄和黄瓜的气孔保卫细胞的微管在0℃—1℃冷处理3小时即解聚;属于中等抗寒性植物的菠菜和甜菜幼苗经秋季低温锻炼后,其气孔保卫细胞的微管在0℃和—5℃低温处理3小时,均不发生解聚;具有较强抗寒性的冬小麦品种农大139幼苗在2—3℃低温锻炼期间,微管结构保持完整,经过15天低温锻炼的幼苗在-8℃冰冻处理3小时,微管也不受破坏。这些结果表明,微管的冷稳性与植物的抗寒性成正相关。     

Mice immunized with recombinant vaccinia virus expressing dengue 4 virus structural proteins with or without nonstructural protein NS1 are protected against fatal dengue virus encephalitis.

We have constructed vaccinia virus recombinants expressing dengue virus proteins from cloned DNA for use in experimental immunoprophylaxis. A recombinant virus containing a 4.0-kilobase DNA sequence that codes for three structural proteins, capsid (C), premembrane (pre-M), and envelope (E), and for nonstructural proteins NS1 and NS2a produced authentic pre-M, E, and NS1 in infected CV-1 cells. Mice immunized with this recombinant were protected against an intracerebral injection of 100 50% lethal doses of dengue 4 virus. A recombinant containing only genes C, pre-M, and E also induced solid resistance to challenge. Deletion of the putative C-terminal hydrophobic anchor of the E glycoprotein did not result in secretion of E from recombinant-virus-infected cells. Recombinants expressing only the E protein preceded by its own predicted N-terminal hydrophobic signal or by the signal of influenza A virus hemagglutinin or by the N-terminal 71 amino acids of the G glycoprotein of respiratory syncytial virus produced glycosylated E protein products of expected molecular sizes. These vaccinia virus recombinants also protected mice.     

兔的一种新病毒：Ⅱ.一株兔出血症...

In this paper a strain of Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) was isolated and purified from the diseased rabbit livers with a method of using chloroform, two-phase of polyethylene-glycol-dextran sulfate sodium and sucrose density gradient centrifugation. Purified virus was nonenveloped, icosahedeal symmetry with a triangulation number of 3, and 33-37 nm in diameter. The capsid was composed of 32 capsomeres with central holes in an outer diameter of about 9nm. Two types of viral particles having different sedimentation coefficient, 130s and 166s could be identified after sucrose density gradient centrifugation. Probably no less than four virion proteins with molecular weight of 66.4, 65.0, 63.5, 41.0 x 10(3) dalton were detected by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Viral nucleic acid was extracted from purified virus by using SDS-proteinase K-phenol. Tests with diphenylamine, formaldehyde, and staining with acridine orange as well as the curves of thermal denaturation showed that this kind of virus had a single-stranded DNA. The molecular weight of the ssDNA was approx 2.1 x 10(6) dalton as determined by electron microscopy. Data indicate that the RHDV may like the parvovirus of the family Parvoviridae.     

Isolation and characterization of two opioid peptides from a bovine hemoglobin peptic hydrolysate.

Two opioid peptides were isolated from a bovine hemoglobin hydrolysate, by use of gel permeation (GP) and reverse phase (RP) high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Their primary structure and accurate molecular weights, determined by amino acid analysis and fast atom bombardment (FAB) mass spectrometry, were identical to fragments 31-40 (LVV-hemorphin-7) and 32-40 (VV-hemorphin 7) of the beta-chain of bovine hemoglobin. The same fragments occur in human hemoglobin in positions 32-41 and 33-41 of the beta-chain, respectively. The opioid potency of these peptides, exhibited by use of electrically stimulated muscle of isolated guinea-pig ileum (GPI), were significant and comparable with some others previously described. In addition, the location of the two opioid peptides, VV-hemorphin-7 and LVV-hemorphin-7, revealed the existence of a "strategic zone" both in the bovine and human beta-chains of hemoglobin.     

Fractal analysis of protein chain conformation

This paper presents a simple practical method for characterizing conformation of protein chains. A single number Df, as the fractal dimension, is assigned to each chain. Df = Ln(N)/Ln(N.d/L), where N is the number of the amino acid residues in the chain, L and d are the total length and the planar diameter of the chain, respectively. In general, 1 less than Df less than or equal to 2, which is related to the shape of the protein chain. These values are different from those of Stapleton's group, but in agreement with computer simulations.     

急性缺氧性缺氧时心脏功能的改变

F_(IO_2)(吸入气氧浓度)为12.35、9.87及7.7l％,分别吸入10、8及5min时,心功能呈代偿性增强改变。F_(IO_2)为9.37％、吸入20min时心功能的变化趋势与9.87％8min时仍基本相同。继发性缺二氧化碳对缺氧引起的心功能代偿性增强,在一定程度上起抵消作用。F_(IO_2)为9.87％时的缺氧程度约相当于18km高空加压供氧总压值为15.3kPa(115mmHg)时的缺氧。单纯从缺氧因素考虑,将总压值由常用的17.3kPa(130mmHg)降低为15.3kPa是可允许的。
