严重缺碘对体质及遗传性状影响的研究

对严重缺碘地区一个容貌特殊,身材较矮,智力低下的人群进行了体质特征及遗传性状的研究,并与国内有关本地区的调查资料进行了对照,提出人类体质特征和遗传性状除与人种、地理环境异同直接相关外,人体不可缺少的微量元素的摄入水平在一定程度上对其也产生影响。并且认为同一人种、民族居住同一地理位置所产生的体质差异应从水文、地质、生活方式、生活水平的不同进行综合分析。     

Evaluation of mass spectrometric techniques for charaterization of engineered proteins

A simple and versatile method of in vitro site-specific mutagenesis based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is described. The complete method required the use of three oligonucleotide primers and two PCRs. The product of the first PCR was used as one of the primers (megaprimer) in the second PCR. Essentially 100% of the final product incorporated the desired mutation. The various aspects of the procedure and its application is described in detail.     

新疆地区小麦白粉病菌寄主范围的研究

用小麦白粉病菌11个生理小种的混合菌种,对新疆地区的小麦近缘植物的7个属22个种的47份材料进行接种,除6份免疫外,其余均接种成功.用其中6个属19个种的29份小麦近缘植物产生的白粉病菌,对小麦回接,参试的29份材料全部回接成功.小麦白粉病菌对小麦近缘植物的寄生像在小麦上一样,有明显的寄生专化性.感病的小麦近缘植物的78.0%对小麦白粉病菌的感病性,随生育期增长而急剧下降.文中并对小麦白粉病中间寄主的作用进行了讨论.     

玉米胚性愈伤组织的长期继代及其染色体分析

对５种基因型幼胚诱导的愈伤组织继代培养表明,玉米胚性愈伤组织的长期继代受基因型,培养基成分,激素,培养条件的影响。适时继代,逐代筛选对胚性保持起重要作用。适当降低培养温度（１２±２℃）有利于愈伤组织的保存和胚性保持,可以减少愈伤组织长期继代所需的物质和工作量。长期继代培养的胚性愈伤组织,胚状体发生能力和植株再生率无显著变化,但正常苗的再生频率显著下降。观察愈伤组织细胞染色体发现：（１）基因型对不同倍性细胞的比例有明显影响。（２）随着继代时间的延长,二倍体细胞下降,四倍体和非二倍体细胞增多。（３）愈伤组织中出现多种染色体结构变异,这些结构变异有可能导致非整倍体细胞的形成。     

Gestation length in rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta)

We describe some of the sources of variation in gestation length among rhesus macaques. the data were obtained from the timed-mating breeding program at the California Regional Primate Research Center (CRPRC). Information about approximately 700 pregnancies that resulted in spontaneous vaginal deliveries of liveborn young is presented. The average length of these pregnancies was 166.5 days. In this population, older females with higher parities had significantly longer pregnancies and significantly heavier infants than other females did. Other factors, including infant sex, month of conception, maternal reproductive history, and paternal identity, had no consistent effect upon gestation length.

Studies on atrophic change of soleus muscle and its countermeasures in suspended rat

In the environment of microgravity, the disused atrophy of skeletal muscle, especially leg's muscle, would occur. The three purposes of this study were: 1. To observe the dynamic changes of disused atrophy of skeletal muscle under simulated weightlessness; 2. To approach the mechanism of disused atrophy of muscle; 3. To approach the countermeasures for reducing the degree of atrophy of muscle.
