Fusarium wilt is an economically important disease of tomato crop (Solanum lycopersicum L). Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) represent an alternative to improve plant growth and yield as well as to act as agent of biocontrol. In this study, antagonistic effects of four selected isolates (EB8D, EB20J, EB24L and EB26M) were evaluated against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. radicis lycopersici (FORL) as potential biocontrol agents in vitro and in vivo. After 30?days of culture, dry weight, length of stem and root were significantly (p?≤?.05) higher compared with the non-inoculated control. Compared with the control plate (inoculated only with pathogen), EB8D had showed efficient antagonism against FORL (48.88%). The different strains have been screened for siderophore production, solubilisation of mineral phosphates, synthesis of indolic acetic acid (IAA) to show the plant growth-promoting potential. The experimental groups were compared with a control group that did not receive any treatment by FORL, and EB8D was the best isolate in terms of growth promotion with an improvement of 73.85% of the stem length, 110.86% of the root length and 118.85% of the dry weight comparing with the non-treated controls. Compared with a control group treated by FORL, biocontrol activity has shown that EB8D strain improved the stem length with 111.85%, the root length with 118.85% and the dry weight with 452.38%. 16S rRNA analysis has confirmed that this strain belongs to the genus Enterobacter and has high similarity with Enterobacter hormaechei subsp. steigerwaltii (99.71%). EB8D has a significant strong protective potential against FORL and lead to better tomato growth and might have biotechnological potential for controlling fusarium wilt in tomato plants. 相似文献

The study of marine incursions based on ostracods is carried out for the first time in the late Holocene, with core sediments of the Lac Retba edge. Twenty-four species are identified along the core; most of them are encountered in the Gulf of Guinea shelf and its adjacent lagoons. For the first time Buntonia olokundudui Reyment and Van Valen, Hermanites foveolata Omatsola and Soudanella africana Omatsola are recorded in Senegal. Four ostracods assemblages are evidenced along the core, corresponding to different stages of the lake evolution. Cyprideis nigeriensis Omatsola, Neomonoceratina iddoensis Omatsola and Aglaiocypris gambiensis Witte dominate the first assemblage; they indicate a lagoon slightly open to the sea and bordered with mangrove swamps under relatively humid climate conditions. The second association yields the most diversified ostracod fauna with C. nigeriensis, N. iddoensis and high proportion of reworked “marine species” which evidence a marine little gulf bordered by mangrove under a humid climate. The third, monospecific association (C. nigeriensis) is typical of a closed and hypersaline lagoon under dry climate conditions. An oligospecific association with C. nigeriensis, Pseudoconcha omatsolai Witte and very scarce reworked “marine species” occurs at the top of the core and characterises an open and hypersaline lagoon under arid climate conditions. Ostracods evidence two marine incursions. The first and the stronger one is dated here for the first time between 1420 and 1250 years B.P. The more recent is the weaker and is not yet dated. Evidence of the beginning of the Retba Lake closure towards 680 years B.P. appears at the top of the core, as indicated by high reduction of ostracods abundance, predominance of reticulate Cyprideis and disappearance of the “marine species”, while salts precipitated at the bottom of the lake. 相似文献

1 The determination of Na, Ca, Mg, and K concentrations was performed in four different regions of the dog kidney (cortex, outer medulla, inner medulla, and papilla) during antidiuresis and during an osmotic diuresis. 2 The results show a medullary concentration gradient for calcium. This gradient is much higher than that found for sodium. 3 An inverse concentration gradient from cortex to inner medulla for Mg and K is found. 4 An osmotic diuresis (hypertonic mannitol) decreases the corticomedullary gradient of Na, but does not alter significantly the intrarenal distribution of Ca, Mg and K. 5 These results consistent with an intracellular localization of Mg and K in the renal tissue. It is suggested that the medullary concentration gradient for Ca may be due either to a countercurrent multiplier system similar to that for Na, or to a higher tissular fixation of Ca in the inner medulla and papilla than in the outer medulla and cortex. 相似文献

Summary Several ultrastructural cytochemical methods are used to determine the constituents of the ripe nucleus of Equisetum arvense L. They show that: DNA, associated with an arginine-rich histone, is localized in central region of the nucleus; nucleoplasm is reduced to a thin peripheral coat and contains a probably lysine rich histone; RNA is not detectable; non histone proteins form lenticular amounts disposed against the nuclear membrane.相似文献

The effect of bile salts was tested on a collection of 38 strains of Lactobacillus isolated from a probiotic bacterial consortium Half of the strains were slightly affected by 0.3% bile salts showing a delay of growth below 1 h, to reach an absorbance of 0.3 at 600 nm in MRS broth, compared to a reference curve without bile salts. According to the heterogencity of sensitivity, the resistance to bile salts should be checked for the selection of probiotic strains of Lactobacillus. 相似文献
