The comparative evaluation of the reactogenic and immunogenic properties of vaccine "Euvax B" in adolescents aged 16-18 years was carried out in factory housing estate Lvovsky, the Podolsk district, the Moscow region, and in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (AD): in towns Salekhard, Noyabrsk, Muravlenko, in housing estate Tarko-Sale. The evaluation demonstrated that the use of this vaccine in a dose of 20 mg/ml produced no postvaccinal complications and the frequency of postvaccinal reactions was insignificant. Postvaccinal anti-HBs were detected, on the average, in protective concentrations in 98.4 +/- 1.8% of the vaccines (99.0 +/- 1.9% in the Moscow region, 97.7 +/- 3.2% in the Yamalo-Nenets AD). In most of the vaccinated adolescents high concentrations of postvacinal anti-HBs were detected: in 51.4 +/- 9.7% of the vaccinees in the Moscow region and in 89.7 +/- 6.4% in the Yamalo-Nenets AD they exceeded 1,000 I.U./lit. The conclusion was made that in the territories located in subarctic latitudes vaccinal prophylaxis against hepatitis B was safe and highly effective and have no limitations connected with the conditions of the Far North.  相似文献

Binding of mRNA leader sequences to ribosomes was studied in conditions of a cell-free translation system based on wheat germ extract. Leader sequence of TMV mRNA (the so-called omega-RNA sequence) was able to bind simultaneously 80S ribosome and 40S ribosomal subunit. It was found that nucleotide substitutions in omega-RNA resulting in destabilization of RNA structure have no effect on the complex formation with both 80S ribosome and 40S ribosomal subunit. Leader sequence of globin mRNA is also able to form a similar joint complex. It is supposed that the ability of mRNA leader sequences to bind simultaneously 80S ribosome and 40S subunit is independent of leader nature and may reflect previously unknown eukaryotic mechanisms of translation initiation.  相似文献

Composition and content of free monosaccharides and β-galactosidase activity were determined in the course of development of the flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) tissues containing bast fibers. In the stem regions where the fibers were at the stage of formation of the secondary cell wall of gelatinous type, the content of free galactose was high (14 mM) and 13–20 times greater than in the upper part of the stem where the fibers were at the stage of intrusive growth. Pulse-chase experiments demonstrated the differences in the metabolism of individual low-molecular sugars. In respect to glucose and sucrose, all the examined characteristics (content, absolute and specific radioactivity, and the temporal changes of these indices) were identical in the stem regions wherein the fibers were at different stages of development. Labeled galactose was detected only in the stem regions where the fibers were at the stage of secondary cell wall formation. The specific radioactivity of glucose and sucrose reached the maximum immediately after photosynthesis in the presence of 14CO2 and changed in the same way as in the primary products of photosynthesis. The time-course of label incorporation into galactose indicated that this monosaccharide arose as a result of hydrolytic processes. At the stage of secondary cell wall formation, high activity of β-galactosidase was observed, with tissue- and stage-specific fiber β-1,4-galactan as its substrate.  相似文献

The reflex excitability of flexors and extensors of the upper and lower extremities during local thermostimulation of their receptor fields was investigated in observations on healthy subjects and patients with spastic hemiparesis by means of monosynaptic testing. In the healthy subjects, cooling led to a reduction in reflex excitability, while warming led to its elevation. On the contralateral side thermostimulation induced the reverse effect. A change in the directionality of the reactions was observed in ill subjects in the form of an increase in excitability in response to cooling. The data obtained show that the state of the thermoreceptive fields may influence the reflex excitability of motoneurons in a specific manner. Evolution and natural selection of tumoral clones in the process of transformation and the following carcinogenesis can be called natural clonal evolution. Its main driving factors are internal: genetic instability initiated by driver mutations and microenvironment, which enables selective pressure while forming the environment for cell transformation and their survival. We present our overview of contemporary research dealing with mechanisms of carcinogenesis in different localizations from precancerous pathologies to metastasis and relapse. It shows that natural clonal evolution establishes intratumoral heterogeneity and enables tumor progression. Tumors of monoclonal origin are of low-level intratumoral heterogeneity in the initial stages, and this increases with the size of the tumor. Tumors of polyclonal origin are of extremely high-level intratumoral heterogeneity in the initial stages and become more homogeneous when larger due to clonal expansion. In cases of chemotherapy-induced clonal evolution of a tumor, chemotherapy becomes the leading factor in treatment. The latest research shows that the impact of chemotherapy can radically increase the speed of clonal evolution and lead to new malignant and resistant clones that cause tumor metastasis. Another option of chemotherapy-induced clonal evolution is formation of a new dominant clone from a clone that was minor in the initial tumor and obtained free space due to elimination of sensitive clones by chemotherapy. As a result, in ~20% of cases, chemotherapy can stimulate metastasis and relapse of tumors due to clonal evolution. The conclusion of the overview formulates approaches to tumor treatment based on clonal evolution: in particular, precision therapy, prediction of metastasis stimulation in patients treated with chemotherapy, methods of genetic evaluation of chemotherapy efficiency and clonal-oriented treatment, and approaches to manipulating the clonal evolution of tumors are presented.  相似文献

A cell wall has been isolated from single-type cells, phloem fibers of flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) being at the stage of the active formation of a thick secondary cell wall. Weakly bound proteins of the cell wall of phloem fibers were extracted and separated, and their mass spectra were recorded. The identification of the proteins and their assignment to a particular cell compartment were performed using a variety of bioinformatics methods. In all, 93 proteins were identified of which many proteins were defined as predicted, putative, and hypothetical. Twenty one proteins were identified as cell-wall proteins. The absence of the marker proteins of primary cell walls such as xyloglucan endotransglycosylase and expansins indirectly confirms the predominance of the secondary cell wall in a sample for protein extraction.  相似文献
