A correlation of mitotic spiralization of macrochromosomes with a change in the number of microchromosomes is detected. A wave character of microchromosomes variability during spiralization of macrochromosomes is suggested to be due to reversible despiralization of microchromosomes, which is probably a result of the colchicin treatment. Metaphase plates where the range of chromosome 1 length is from 10.5 to 12mu are recommended to calculate the number of microchromosomes. 相似文献

The aim of the present study was to determine the cellular site of eyeless-I (ey-I) and eyeless-2 (ey-2) gene action, causing anophthalmia or microphthalmia. Eye primordia from 10-day-old embryos of ZRDCT-AN and CC57BR (control) mice were cultured in vitro for 3 or 6 days. In 59 out of 77 cultured mutant eye primordia neural retina was disturbed. In 9 mutant eye primordia the disturbed neural retina was 4-6 times thinner than in the control. However, lens differentiation was similar to that in the control, epithelial and fibrous components were observed. Thus, mutant genes eyeless inhibit the growth of primordial retina, causing secondary developmental defects of the lens and other eye structures. 相似文献

The authors studied the correlation between the activity of renin, angiotensin-converting enzyme, the activity of prekallikrein and the blood prekallikrein level in men performing veloergometric exercise. At the same time they recorded the hemodynamic parameters (systolic and diastolic arterial pressure, the systolic rate, stroke volume and cardiac index, specific peripheral resistance). The blood samples collected before and immediately after the exercise showed a 41.4%-increase in the activity of renin and a 95%-increase in that of kallikrein, whereas the level of prekallikrein and the activity of the converting enzyme declined by 19 and 13% (P less than 0.05). These changes were accompanied by an increase in the systolic rate (by 107%) and in the systolic arterial pressure (by 36.7%), as well as by a reduction of the specific peripheral resistance (by 41.4%). 相似文献
