Hookworm infections as well as other intestinal nematodiases are endemic in China. In this case, a 70-year-old male showed symptoms of chest tightness, shortness of breath, and both lower extremities edema. The diagnostic result was chronic renal insufficiency, chronic kidney disease (5th stage), and renal anemia at first. Then, he received treatment with traditional drugs. However, this treatment did not help to alleviate the symptoms of the patient significantly. The results of gastroendoscopy showed hookworms in the duodenum, also confirmed by pathology examination. Anemia was markedly ameliorated after eliminating the parasites. The results mentioned above suggested that ancylostomiasis was the leading causes of anemia in this patient, and the etiology of anemia in uremic patients should be systematically considered. Especially when anemia could not be cured by regular treatments, rare diseases should be investigated.  相似文献

为测定丘脑外膝体细胞的图形适应是否依赖于早期视觉经验,在细胞外记录了双眼和单眼缝合的猫外膝体中断细胞对手工时间运动光栅刺激的反应。在双眼剥夺猫,占68%的记录到的细胞在30s内反应下降到稳定值,其平均反应值下降33%,适应程度较正常猫显著。在单眼剥夺猫,记录到的剥夺眼驱动的和非剥夺眼驱动的细胞中,分别有占53%和44%的细胞显示图形适应,两者差别不大。研究表明,早期视剥夺能增强或保持图形适应,提示  相似文献

Use of silica stationary phase and aqueous–organic mobile phases could significantly enhance LC–MS–MS method sensitivity. The LC conditions were compatible with MS detection. Analytes with basic functional groups were eluted with acidic mobile phases and detected by MS in the positive ion mode. Analytes with acid functional groups were eluted with mobile phases at neutral pH and detected by MS in the negative ion mode. Analytes poorly retained on reversed-phase columns showed good retention on silica columns. Compared with reversed-phase LC–MS–MS, 5–8-fold sensitivity increases were observed for basic polar ionic compounds when using silica columns and aqueous–organic mobile phase. Up to a 20-fold sensitivity increase was observed for acidic polar ionic compounds. Silica columns and aqueous–organic mobile phases were used for assaying nicotine, cotinine, and albuterol in biological fluids.  相似文献

The ubiquitously expressed molecular chaperone GRP78 (78 kDa glucose-regulated protein) generally localizes to the ER (endoplasmic reticulum). GRP78 is specifically induced in cells under the UPR (unfolded protein response), which can be elicited by treatments with calcium ionophore A23187 and sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-ATPase inhibitor TG (thapsigargin). By using confocal microscopy, we have demonstrated that GRP78 was concentrated in the perinuclear region and co-localized with the ER marker proteins, calnexin and PDI (protein disulphide-isomerase), in cells under normal growth conditions. However, treatments with A23187 and TG led to diminish its ER targeting, resulting in redirection into a cytoplasmic vesicular pattern, and overlapping with the mitochondrial marker MitoTracker. Cellular fractionation and protease digestion of isolated mitochondria from ER-stressed cells suggested that a significant portion of GRP78 is localized to the mitochondria and is protease-resistant. Localizations of GRP78 in ER and mitochondria were confirmed by using immunoelectron microscopy. In ER-stressed cells, GRP78 mainly localized within the mitochondria and decorated the mitochondrial membrane compartment. Submitochondrial fractionation studies indicated further that the mitochondria-resided GRP78 is mainly located in the intermembrane space, inner membrane and matrix, but is not associated with the outer membrane. Furthermore, radioactive labelling followed by subcellular fractionation showed that a significant portion of the newly synthesized GRP78 is localized to the mitochondria in cells under UPR. Taken together, our results indicate that, at least under certain circumstances, the ER-resided chaperone GRP78 can be retargeted to mitochondria and thereby may be involved in correlating UPR signalling between these two organelles.  相似文献

以玫瑰花色素作为新型天然食用色素的可行性进行了初步研究。对光、温度、pH值、氧化介质、还原介质、蔗糖、咸味(NaCl)、铝制品(FeCl3)、铜制品(CuCl2)、锡制品(SnCl2)等对色素的稳定性影响,进行了初步探讨。结果表明,该色素对光、热耐受性好;适用pH值范围宽;耐氧化性较差,耐还原性较好;Fe^3+和Sn^2+对其吸光值有明显影响,Cu^2+、Al^3+、食盐和蔗糖则影响甚微。  相似文献

罗楼地区下三叠统,经赵金科(1959)研究显示,最低层位为Vishnuites marginalis菊石带(Gyronitan阶),张舜新(1990)研究广西凤山金下三叠统形石时,未发现最高的牙形石带,当前研究发现,罗楼地区下三叠统牙形石丰富,可识别出Hindeodus parvus,Isarciclla staeschei ,Neospathodus waageni,Neospathodus novaehel-landiae,Neospathodus homeri-Neospathodus triangularis,Chiosella timorensis6个牙形石带(组合带),从而表明该地区不但存在下三叠统底部层位Otoceratan阶,而且存在下三叠统最高的牙形石带,牙形石组合面貌和岩相显示,该牙形石动物群生活环境与田东县作登地区同属盆地相环境。  相似文献

Three aldohexoses, glucose, galactose, and mannose, and three aldopentoses, arabinose, xylose, and ribose, were derivatized with L‐tryptophanamide (L‐TrpNH2) under alkaline conditions. Using a basic mobile phase (pH 9.2), the three aldohexoses or the three aldopentoses were simultaneously enantioseparated, respectively, but all the six monosaccharides could not be simultaneously enantioseparated. A large amount of nonreacted L‐TrpNH2 was detected after the derivatized monosaccharides. In order to widen the separation window, a large portion of nonreacted L‐TrpNH2 could be eliminated by liquid–liquid extraction with ethylacetate, and elution order of the derivatized monosaccharides and nonreacted L‐TrpNH2 was found to be reversed using a neutral mobile phase. All of the six monosaccharides were simultaneously enantioseparated by reversed phase high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using InertSustainSwift C18 column (4.6 mm i.d. × 150 mm) and a mobile phase containing 180 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.6), 1.5 mM butylboronic acid, and 5% acetonitrile at 40 °C. Nomenclature of D and L for monosaccharides is based on the configurations of the asymmetric C4 center for aldopentoses and C5 center for aldohexoses. It was found that the enantiomer elution order of these six monosaccharides and fucose in the proposed method conformed to be the absolute configuration of the C2 center. A novel method was developed for studying the interaction between epirubicin hydrochloride (EPI) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) by fluorescence spectrometry. Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) synthesized and functionalized with thiol group were employed for the immobilization and separation of target BSA in reaction solutions. The concentrations of the non‐immobilized BSA and unbound EPI were obtained separately by fluorescence spectrometry. The binding constants (K a ) and number of binding sites (n ) of EPI with BSA were calculated. In this study, the K a value was 5.05 × 105 L mol?1, suggesting a strong binding of EPI to BSA, and the n value was 1.15. The effects of common metal ions on K a of EPI with BSA were also investigated, and the results showed there was clearly bindings between the metal ions and BSA.
