人α1/158Ⅴ型(α1c型)干扰素基因在大肠杆菌中的表达及其产物的初步纯化

采用DNA聚合酶链反应(PCR)技术,将本实验室从中国人胎肝细胞染色体DNA中发现和分离的IFN-α1/158V基因的原始克隆,改造成适于进行非融合蛋白原核表达的结构形式,并在大肠杆菌中获得高效表达。测得重组IFN-α1/158V的抗病毒活性为1.9×10~7单位/升菌液。随后又采用以单克隆抗体亲和层析为主的纯化流程对表达产物进行初步纯化,获得了在SDS-聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳上呈现单一条带的纯化产物。     

几种药物抑制马传染性贫血病毒和人免疫缺陷病毒的实验研究

用马传染性贫血病毒—驴胚肺二倍体细胞(EIAV-DELDC)为实验体系,以细胞中病毒逆转录酶活性及病毒相关抗原的表达为观察指标,检测了叠氮胸苷(AZT)、三氮唑核苷(Ribavirin,病毒唑)、磷羧基甲酸钠(PFA)和苏拉明等4种已知抗人免疫缺陷病毒(HIV-1)药物对马传染性贫血病毒的抑制作用。结果表明,PFA、AZTTP(三磷酸AZT)和苏拉明均能抑制病毒相关抗原的表达,AZT虽无此作用,但能抑制细胞内逆转录酶活性。用~3H-TMP掺入法比较了PFA、AZTTP、苏拉明对体外无细胞系EIAV逆转录酶粗提物和HIV-1基因工程产物逆转录酶活性的抑制作用表明,两种逆转录酶对苏拉明的敏感性相近,而HIV-1逆转录酶对PFA和AZTTP的敏感性较EIAV者高约100倍。又以无细胞系中逆转录酶活性测定法,检测了12种中药提取物的抑制作用,其中小柴胡汤对EIAV和HIV-1逆转录酶活性都有抑制作用,IC_(50)为717μg/ml和700μg/ml(生药浓度)。小柴胡汤对两种病毒感染细胞中抗原的表达和HIV引起细胞病变都有抑制作用,对HIV-1的抑制比EIAV强。这些结果表明,EIAV-DELDC体系可考虑作为抗HIV-1药物筛选模型。     

中药山豆根的研究进展

本文对中药山豆根进行了本草考证,并概括总结了半个世纪以来国内外对山豆根(广豆根)和北豆根在生药学研究、化学成分、药理作用与临床应用等方面的研究成果,为山豆根的进一步研究提供参考。全文附参考文献105篇。     

越冬期间香蕉果穗套袋的防寒效果及其对产量的影响

冬季香蕉果穗用兰色聚乙烯薄膜套袋之后,可提高袋内温度1～5℃,果实低温伤害卑只有1％左右,而未经套袋的达23％～35％,果指长度和径围增加率分别达12％和9％左右,果实产量比对照增加8％～16％。试验结果表明,兰色聚乙烯薄膜套袋是越冬期间香蕉防寒保果和增产的一项有效措施。     

Further investigation on nuclear transplantation in different orders of teleost: the combination of the nucleus of Tilapia (Oreochromis nilotica) and the cytoplasm of Loach (Paramisgurnus dabryanus).

The nucleus of a blastula cell from Tilapia (Oreochromis nilotica, family Cichlidae, order Perciformes) was transplanted into an enucleated egg of Loach (Paramisgurnus dabryanus, family Cobitidae, order Cypriniformes). From among 3747 nucleo-cytoplasmic hybrid (NCH) eggs two NCH larval fish (0.05%) were obtained; one died on the 6th day and the other died on the 12th day after the operation. Morphological examinations showed that both NCH larval fish had developed normally with an opened mouth except they could not take food after complete utilization of their egg yolk on the 5th day of development. The possible mechanisms for obtaining such inter-order NCH larval fish are discussed. This is the first report indicating that inter-order NCH larval fish can be obtained in spite of their evolutionary divergence.     

American anthropologists looking through Taiwanese culture

Conclusion Anthropologists have too often supported — in their words, in their presences, and in their deeds — the paternalistic claims of rulers suppressing the very cultures they want to study. Much anthropological work legitimates substitution of the language of Beijing for Hakka and Holo, justifies ignoring Taiwanese culture, and subordinates consideration of its specific features to writing about Chinese civilization, just as Taiwanese are economically and politically subordinated to the ethnic minority dictatorship which still rules Taiwan under the fiction of being the government of China. The China that Arthur Wolf and others serve in return for support of their research from what purports to be the Republic of China is an egregious, but unfortunately not unique, example.Stephen O. Mainland place names are rendered in pinyin. We have followed the convention of treating Chinese and Taiwanese personal names as two words, because books are catalogued with such names. If personal names are considered as two words (an imposition of the hoary dogma that words in Sino-Tibetan languages are monosyllabic), it seems to us that both words should be capitalized. For Taiwanese placenames, we have not separated syllables by dashes or by spaces.
