Lipids are essential for mammalian cells to maintain many physiological functions. Emerging evidence has shown that cancer cells can develop specific alterations in lipid biosynthesis and metabolism to facilitate their survival and various malignant behaviors. To date, the precise role of cellular lipids and lipid metabolism in viral oncogenesis is still largely unclear with only a handful of literature covering this topic to implicate lipid metabolism in oncogenic virus associated pathogenesis. In this review, we focus on the role of lipid biosynthesis and metabolism in the pathogenesis of the Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus, a common causative factor for cancers arising in the immunocompromised settings.

以PCR产物直接测序分析了侧耳属(Pleurotus)27个种41个茵株的nLSU rDNA序列,以Hohenbuehelia serotina和Lentinula edodes为外群,运用MEGA3.1软件中的邻接法(neighbor—joining)和最大简约法(maximums parsimony)分别构建侧耳属的系统发育树。分子系统发育树表明:Coremiopleurotus组和Pleurotus属内单、二系茵丝系统均为多系起源;P.rattenburyi,刺芹侧耳种族群(P.eryngii species—complex)与被划分在Lepiotarii组的栎侧耳P.dryinus能与侧耳属其他成员明显分开;红侧耳P.djamor、桃红侧耳P.salmoneostramineus、扇形侧耳P.flabellatus与贝盖侧耳P.calyptratus关系密切;金顶侧耳P.citrinopileatus与P.euosmus聚在一起,而与黄白侧耳P.conucopiae为不同的分类单元;肺形侧耳P.pulmonarius与P.abieticale亲缘关系较近。 相似文献

Background
We investigated the seropositive rates and persistence of antibody against pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus (pH1N1) in pregnant women and voluntary blood donors after the second wave of the pandemic in Nanjing, China.Methodology/Principal Findings
Serum samples of unvaccinated pregnant women (n = 720) and voluntary blood donors (n = 320) were collected after the second wave of 2009 pandemic in Nanjing. All samples were tested against pH1N1 strain (A/California/7/2009) with hemagglutination inhibition assay. A significant decline in seropositive rates, from above 50% to about 20%, was observed in pregnant women and voluntary blood donors fifteen weeks after the second wave of the pandemic. A quarter of the samples were tested against a seasonal H1N1 strain (A/Brisbane/59/2007). The antibody titers against pH1N1 strain were found to correlate positively with those against seasonal H1N1 strain. The correlation was modest but statistically significant.Conclusions and Significance
The high seropositive rates in both pregnant women and voluntary blood donors suggested that the pH1N1 virus had widely spread in these two populations. Immunity derived from natural infection seemed not to be persistent well. 相似文献95.

为了明确秸秆带状覆盖对西北半干旱雨养区冬小麦田地温和产量形成的影响,于2013-2015年连续进行2年定位试验,设不覆盖露地(CK)、全膜覆土穴播(PM)、秸秆带状覆盖(覆盖带和种植带各30 cm,播种3行,SM1)、(覆盖带和种植带各40 cm,播种4行,SM2)、(覆盖带和种植带各50 cm,播种5行,SM3)5个处理.结果表明: 各处理在不同生育时期、不同土层土壤温度存在显著差异.与CK相比,SM1、SM2和SM3处理全生育期0~25 cm土层土壤温度分别比CK显著降低1.0~1.3 ℃、0.7~0.9 ℃和0.7~1.1 ℃.不同时期比较,覆盖处理存在增温和降温的双重效应,秸秆覆盖在苗期-越冬期具有提高地温的作用,返青期-成熟期具有降温效应,增温效应覆膜>秸秆覆盖,而降温效应秸秆覆盖>覆膜.同时,秸秆覆盖降低了全生育期土壤有效积温和日变化幅度,全生育期有效积温较CK降低3.4~33.5 ℃·d,土壤温差较CK降低0.6~2.0 ℃;秸秆覆盖在越冬期平均温度比CK高0.2~0.3 ℃、负积温比CK高0.4~17.0 ℃·d.秸秆覆盖较CK增产11.9%~19.5%,处理间单位面积穗数的差异是引起产量差异的主要结构因素.因此,秸秆带状覆盖适宜在西北雨养区旱地冬小麦产区推广应用. 相似文献

对不同树龄茶树根层土壤的呼吸作用(包括代谢熵qCO2)和土壤酶(脲酶、转化酶和酸性磷酸单酯酶)活性进行了研究、不同树龄茶树根层土壤日基础呼吸作用强度(36.23—58.52mg·kg^-1·d^-1)和日代谢墒(0.30一0.68)都以40和90年茶树较为接近,分别显著大于和小于10年树龄茶树根层土壤;服酶活性(41.48—47、72mg·kg^-1·d^-1)则三者间差异不大,虽然随树龄增长而下降;转化酶活性(189.29—363.40mg·kg^-1·d^-1)也随树龄增长而下降,并且10年茶树根层土壤显著大于40和90年树龄茶树;而酸性磷酸单酯酶活性(444.22—828.32mg·kg^-1·d^-1)相反,随树龄增长而增强.结果表明,土壤基础呼吸作用、代谢熵和3种土壤酶活性都与茶树树龄、土壤pH、土壤有机碳、土壤全氮、土壤可活性酚总量、及土壤微生物生物量密切相关. 相似文献

以采自广西金秀县的绞股蓝种子为研究材料,对其休眠原因、休眠类型及其破眠方法进行了研究,为绞股蓝种子繁殖提供理论依据和技术支持。结果表明:(1)绞股蓝新采收成熟种子的生活力达91%,在10℃~35℃恒温和15℃/25℃变温中的发芽率均低于10%,新种子的生活力极显著大于发芽率,具有显著的休眠现象。(2)绞股蓝种皮不限制吸水,胚分化发育完全,离体胚发芽率为(78.0±4.8)%,且能够长成正常幼苗,说明绞股蓝种子的胚在离体条件下无休眠现象。(3)绞股蓝完整种子及其粉碎种子的水提液对白菜种子的萌发率、苗高及根长均有抑制作用,随水提液浓度增加抑制作用均显著增强,且粉碎种子的抑制作用较强;当粉碎种子的水提液浓度为5%时白菜种子萌发率、苗高、根长分别为18.0%、0.1cm、0.1cm,分别显著低于对照77.1%、97.3%、95.8%,说明绞股蓝种子的种皮和胚乳中存在水溶性萌发抑制物质,是绞股蓝种子休眠的主要原因。(4)GA3和6-BA不能促进绞股蓝种子萌发,低温层积对绞股蓝种子休眠的解除具有促进作用;绞股蓝种子的休眠属于生理休眠类型,休眠水平属于中间型。(5)低温干藏能够打破绞股蓝种子休眠,是绞股蓝种子破除休眠及种子保存较为理想的方式。 相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of zeolite powders on feasibility of rapid aerobic granulation in the column-type sequencing batch reactors. After 90 days' operation, aerobic granular sludge was formed in both reactors by altering influent chemical oxygen demand/nitrogen (COD/N) ratios. R1 with zeolite powders had better removal capabilities of COD and total nitrogen than R2, which was without zeolite powders. Mixed liquor volatile suspended solid concentrations of the two reactors were 7.36 and 5.45 g/L, while sludge volume index (SVI30) values were 34.9 and 47.9 mg/L, respectively. The mean diameters of aerobic granular sludge in the above two reactors were 2.5 and 1.5 mm, respectively. Both reactors achieved the largest simultaneous nitrification and denitrification (SND) efficiency at an influent COD/N ratio of 8; however, R1 exhibited more excellent SND efficiency than R2. The obtained results could provide a novel technique for rapid aerobic granulation and N removal simultaneously, especially when treating nitrogen-rich industrial wastewater. 相似文献

A new yeast antagonist, Pichia caribbica, isolated in our laboratory from the soil collected from unsprayed orchards, was evaluated for its biocontrol capability against Rhizopus stolonifer on peaches and the possible mechanisms involved. The decay incidence and lesion diameter of Rhizopus decay of peaches treated by P. caribbica were significantly reduced compared with the control fruits, and the higher the concentration of P. caribbica, the better the efficacy of the biocontrol. Rapid colonization of the yeast in peach wounds stored at 25 °C was observed. In peaches, the activities of peroxidase (POD), catalase (CAT), and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) were significantly induced by P. caribbica treatment compared to those of the control fruits. All these results indicated that P. caribbica has a great potential for the development of commercial formulations to control postharvest Rhizopus decay of peaches. Its modes of action were based on competition for space and nutrients with pathogens, inducement of activities of defense-related enzymes such as POD, CAT, and PAL of peaches. 相似文献

Effects of elevated root-zone (RZ) CO2 concentration (RZ [CO2]) and RZ temperature (RZT) on photosynthesis, productivity, nitrate (NO3 ?), total reduced nitrogen (TRN), total leaf soluble and Rubisco proteins were studied in aeroponically grown lettuce plants in a tropical greenhouse. Three weeks after transplanting, four different RZ [CO2] concentrations (ambient, 360 ppm, and elevated concentrations of 2,000; 10,000; and 50,000 ppm) were imposed on plants at 20°C-RZT or ambient(A)-RZT (24–38°C). Elevated RZ [CO2] resulted in significantly higher light-saturated net photosynthetic rate, but lower light-saturated stomatal conductance. Higher elevated RZ [CO2] also protected plants from both chronic and dynamic photoinhibition (measured by chlorophyll fluorescence Fv/Fm ratio) and reduced leaf water loss. Under each RZ [CO2], all these variables were significantly higher in 20°C-RZT plants than in A-RZT plants. All plants accumulated more biomass at elevated RZ [CO2] than at ambient RZ [CO2]. Greater increases of biomass in roots than in shoots were manifested by lower shoot/root ratios at elevated RZ [CO2]. Although the total biomass was higher at 20°C-RZT, the increase in biomass under elevated RZ [CO2] was greater at A-RZT. Shoot NO3 ? and TRN concentrations, total leaf soluble and Rubisco protein concentrations were higher in all elevated RZ [CO2] plants than in plants under ambient RZ [CO2] at both RZTs. Under each RZ [CO2], total leaf soluble and Rubisco protein concentrations were significantly higher at 20°C-RZT than at A-RZT. Our results demonstrated that increased P Nmax and productivity under elevated [CO2] was partially due to the alleviation of midday water loss, both dynamic and chronic photoinhibition as well as higher turnover of Calvin cycle with higher Rubisco proteins. 相似文献
