The appearance of Daphnia (Ctenodaphnia) magna Straus, 1820 in the pelagial of Sevan Lake caused significant changes in the communities of planktonic algae, bacteria, and heterotrophic nanoflagellates. Phytoplankton and nanoflagellates were the most affected by the direct impact of D. magna, and the number and biomass of bacteria increased due to the reduction in the trophic pressure of the protists. It was also facilitated by the increased supply of phosphorus as a result of the activity of the cladocerans, as well as the decrease in the number and biomass of phytoplankton, which competes with heterotrophic bacteria for the nutrients.  相似文献

In the experiments performed on adult and aged rats, the effect of morphine on the electrical activity, recorded from the emotion-producing zones of the hypothalamus, the ventromedial nucleus (VMN), and the lateral hypothalamic area (LHA), was studied. In thein vitro experiments, an age-dependent reduction of background impulse activity (BIA) was found in the VMN single neurons, but not in the LHA neurons. Morphine reduced BIA in most of the VMN neurons, but enhanced it in the LHA neurons of adult rats, and enhanced BIA in the neurons of both structures of the aged rats. The inhibitory effect of morphine on the VMN and LHA neurons and its excitatory effect on the LHA neurons decreased with age. In thein vivo experiments, an age-dependent reduction of the background field electrical activity (background electrogram, BEG) was found in the neurons of both emotion-producing zones. Morphine reduced the BEG magnitude in the VMN and LHA more effectively in the aged rats than in the adult rats. The qualitative composition and structure of the autumn zooplankton in the pelagic zone of Lake Sevan in years that were characterized by different abundancies of fish are described. In October 2013, upon the increase in whitefish abundance, the species richness of zooplankton increased insignificantly; the values of the trophic coefficient and the Shannon index, calculated by the number, increased; and the specific number of Rotifera and Cladocera decreased. At the same time, atypical changes were recorded in the development parameters of zooplankton invertebrates. They were expressed as an increase in the total biomass due to Cladocera, among which large Daphnia (Ctenodaphnia) magna Straus occupied the leading position. The possible reasons for the particular changes in zooplankton are discussed.  相似文献

The outer sheath of the aerial mycelium of Actinomyces levoris 64 bears groove-like and granular submicroscopic structures. They are very susceptible to a short-term treatment of the aerial mycelium with aqueous acetone which causes their disintegration. Under specified conditions, submicroscopic structures, viz. granules and threads, assemble from the acetone extract of the aerial mycelium of Actinomyces levoris. These structures possess the anti-yeast activity. The granular structures reorganized from the acetone extract of the aerial mycelium of Actinomyces levoris somewhat resemble in morphology the structures seen in the outer sheath of the aerial mycelium of this actinomycete. The results obtained are discussed within the framework of the hypothesis on a possible participation of polyene antibiotics in the formation of the outer sheath of the aerial mycelium of actinomycetes which produce these antibiotics.  相似文献
