Hybrid plasmids containing the fragments of Francisella tularensis chromosomal DNA and capable of tet-gene expression both in Escherichia coli and Francisella tularensis cells were constructed. The regions of francisella chromosomal DNA binding the RNA-polymerases of Escherichia coli and Francisella tularensis were found by the electron microscopy technique. Interconnection of those regions with the expression of tet-gene of the hybrid plasmids was demonstrated. 相似文献

A new variant of media with antibiotics for isolation of Shigella, i.e. a method of 2 streaks each containing different antibiotics was tested in analysis of excrements from patients with acute dysentery. It was found that the new method is more effective than the well known method of gradient plates (isolation of Shigella in one series of the experiments amounted to 85.2 and 64.7 per cent respectively, and in the other series of the experiments the respective figures were 95.4 and 89.3 per cent). Its efficiency was lower as compared to the procedure of inoculation onto 2 plates, i.e. onto the media with and without an antibiotic (isolation of Shigella was 67.5 and 77.4 per cent respectively). The new method provided a higher frequency of Shigella isolation as compared to inoculation onto the media without an antibiotic, as well as onto any of the media used with one antibiotic. The method of 2 streaks offers wider possibilities for choosing the antibiotics for adding to the nutrient medium, as well as estimation of the antibioticograms and species structures of Shigella distributed in a concrete area. 相似文献

A uniform procedure is proposed, whereby growth characteristics of biological populations of various levels can be described as quantum chemistry equations. Using approaches of the kinetics of chain processes expressions have been derived, which make it possible to assess the effects of individual chemical substances and mixtures thereof on population dynamics. These expressions describe quantitatively synergistic and antagonistic effects of the substances. The models proposed describe the kinetics of growth of various populations (such as cultures of microorganisms) and can serve as a basis for targeted regulation of biotechnological processes. 相似文献

Local monitoring of physicochemical, radiochemical, and microbiological parameters was performed in the deep horizons of the
Severnyi site used for disposal of liquid radioactive waste (LRW). Analysis of the chemical and radiochemical composition
of the wastes and formation fluid revealed that the boundary for migration of radionuclides lagged behind that for nonradioactive
waste components (sodium nitrate) and tritium. The physicochemical and radiochemical conditions in deep horizons did not prevent
microbial growth. The numbers of microorganisms (aerobic organotrophs, denitrifying, fermentative, sulfate-reducing, and methanogenic)
were low, as were the rates of sulfate reduction and methanogenesis; they increased in the waste dispersion zone. The microorganisms
from deep horizons were able to produce gases (CH4, CO2, N2, and H2S) from possible waste components. Denitrifying bacteria belonged to different Pseudomonas species and reduced nitrate to dinitrogen under the conditions of pH, salinity, temperature, and radioactivity found in the

The action of mouse serum interferon--alpha/beta (IFN) at the dose of 100 U/ml, of its inhibitor (I) at the dose of 8 U/ml as well as of their combination with the above doses on sensitivities of mouse target cells (TC) of sensitive to IFN line L 929 and resistant to the one line MCB in natural cytotoxic reaction was studied. Cytotoxic activity of human natural killer cells was detected in 14 hrs cytotoxic test using 3H-uridine for labelling of TC. IFN, I, and IFN+I were added to cell cultures for 24 hrs at 37 degrees C with following removing of preparations. It has been shown that I abolished protective effect of IFN on TC L 929 whereas the one possessed the protective action on TC MCB in natural cytotoxic reaction. These data confirmed a suggestion about immunoregulatory properties of I which displayed in abolition or realization of protective effect on TC in natural cytotoxic reaction in dependence on initial sensitivity of TC to antiviral IFN action. 相似文献

The cycloferon efficacy was investigated in the treatment of experimental herpesvirus kerato-conjunctivitis in rabbits. The model was demonstrated to reflect the main aspects of herpesvirus eye lesions in humans. Cycloferon application similarly to that of known interferon inducer poludan has been shown to enhance processes of inflammation and subsequent regeneration of eye tissues as well as to decrease mortality of animals due to the generalization of infection. 相似文献
