The inter-annual variability of the fish and macrocrustacean spring community on an intertidal sandy beach near the Canche estuary (North of France) was studied from 2000 to 2013 based on weekly spring sampling over an 11-year period. Twenty-eight species representing 21 families were collected during the course of the study. The community was dominated by a few abundant species accounting for > 99% of the total species densities. Most individuals caught were young-of-the-year indicating the importance of this ecosystem for juvenile fishes and macrocrustaceans. Although standard qualitative community ecology metrics (species composition, richness, diversity, evenness and similarity) indicated notable stability over the study period, community structure showed a clear change since 2009. Densities of P. platessa, P. microps and A. tobianus decreased significantly since 2009, whereas over the period 2010-2013, the contribution of S. sprattus to total species density increased 4-fold. Co-inertia and generalised linear model analyses identified winter NAO index, water temperature, salinity and suspended particular matter as the major environmental factors explaining these changes. Although the recurrent and dense spring blooms of the Prymnesiophyte Phaeocystis globosa is one of the main potential threats in shallow waters of the eastern English Channel, no negative impact of its temporal change was detected on the fish and macrocrustacean spring community structure. 相似文献

The adsorption of two human proteins, β2-microglobulin and Immunoglobulin G, from uremic patient’s blood ultrafiltrate and plasma, respectively, was investigated on the histidyl-aminohexyl-Sepharose 4B adsorbent. Both target proteins could be adsorbed on the gel through a low affinity for immobilized histidine ligand. However, a fine adjustment of the operating conditions (ionic strength, buffer, pH) prevented their adsorption and thus allowed their “negative affinity” purification (purity estimated by silver nitrate SDS–PAGE) by the removal of the contaminating proteins. This simple and efficient method provides purification under gentle chromatographic conditions and a further characterization of both molecules. 相似文献

Novel [4, 6]helicenes ( 4a,b ) bearing a fused imidazolium unit have been prepared from [4, 6]helicene‐2,3‐di‐n‐propyl‐amines 3a,b . The in situ formation of N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) derivatives followed by their complexation to iridium(I) or rhodium(I) gave access to complexes 1a , 1′a , and 1b , containing mono‐coordinated helicene‐NHC, chloro and COD (COD = 1,5‐cyclooctadiene) ligands. Ir and Rh complexes 1a and 1′a were characterized by X‐ray crystallography. HPLC and NMR analyses showed that Ir(I) complex 1b existed as a mixture of two diastereomeric complexes corresponding to enantiomeric pairs M‐(?)/P‐(+)‐ 1b 1 and M‐(?)/P‐(+)‐ 1b 2 which differ by the position of COD through space. The chiroptical properties (electronic circular dichroism and optical rotation) of the four stereoisomers were measured. Blue jack mackerel Trachurus picturatus collected at six sampling locations of the north-east Atlantic Ocean (Azores, Madeira, Canaries, and Matosinhos, Peniche and Portimão, mainland Portugal) and one location in the Mediterranean (Sicily), were used to examine the genetic structure of this species. Three mitochondrial gene regions (cytochrome c oxidase subunit I, cytochrome b and control region) were used to study the genetic structure of the species in Macaronesia, as well as to compare the genetic diversity of this region with published results from its eastern distribution. All markers indicated the absence of genetic structure among populations, with high indices of genetic diversity. These results suggest that the species went through a bottleneck event, followed by a recent population expansion. Moreover, the comparison with previously published results from the T. picturatus Mediterranean distribution suggests the existence of a single panmictic population throughout the species' full range. This was, however, an unexpected result since other methodologies have shown the presence of, at least, three different population-units in the NE Atlantic Ocean. 相似文献

In this work, several ribavirin analogues were synthesized and incorporated into a multivalent arrangement. Both were subsequently modified by the addition of polyhydroxylated residues.Their antiviral activity was tested against Junín virus, etiological agent responsible of Argentine hemorrhagic fever.Some compounds inhibited Junín virus in the range of 13.2–389.1?µM. The Fras1/Frem gene family encodes for structurally similar, developmentally regulated extracellular matrix proteins. Mutations in Fras1, Frem1 and Frem2 have been identified in different classes of mouse bleb mutants, while defects in the human orthologs FRAS1 and FREM2 are causative for Fraser syndrome. The hallmark phenotypic feature of bleb mice is embryonic skin blistering due to dermal-epidermal detachment. The similarity of the phenotypic characteristics among the bleb mouse mutants, together with the fact that Fras1/Frem proteins are co-localized in embryonic epithelial basement membranes, suggest that they operate in a common pathway. Here, we report for the first time the immunofluorescence pattern of Frem3 and provide a comparative analysis of the spatiotemporal localization of all Fras1/Frem proteins during mouse embryonic development. We demonstrate their overall co-localization in embryonic epithelial basement membranes, with emphasis on areas of phenotypic interest such as eyelids, limbs, kidneys, lungs and organs of the gastrointestinal tract and the central nervous system. We further studied collagen VII, impairment of which produces dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, a postnatal skin blistering disorder. We show that basement membrane levels of collagen VII rise at late embryonic life, concomitant with descending Fras1/Frem immunolabeling. 相似文献
